It's very quiet, reasonably priced, stylish, and have been happy with the way it cleans and the features. I am recommending, but please take a few items to the store and try loading before you buy just to make sure it works with your tableware. It has 3 racks, which is nice but the center rack for water glasses and cups is not a good design. If I put glases on the edges they bang against the guides on the upper rack and fall over. All but one of the middle guides are either too narrow, too wide, or have gaps in the bottom supports and they fall over there as well. Adjusting the guides hasn't helped so my only solution has been to use the only section where they will stand upright and have to be careful not to push the rack into hard so they don't fall over. I have owned many dishwashers over the years and never had a problem like this before. Having to use one particular section certainly eliminates flexibility when loading that rack. The pictures show how the glasses fell over when I pushed the rack in and they banged against the guide on the top rack, as well as the section I have to use. Hope this helps!

We have had this dishwasher for over a month now, we use it every day and it is so great. Very quiet, tons of room, and cleans the dishes very well. LOVE the top rack, perfect for knives, straws, and extra utensils.

It is very quiet you don't realize it is on. It chimes when the dishes are clean, the dishes are very clean and so far I am enjoying the dish washer. I am very glad I have purchased. The installer Matt was amazing, very nice, personable and gave me free Rinse Aide product soap and drying aide.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet and way more efficient than our older washer. Lost a star because of the button placement. This washer must stick out further than your countertop. If not (if your counter has a hanging edge) the buttons are difficult to get to. Otherwise easy installation.

A very quiet dishwasher. However I called LG customer service to report the problem I am having--my Fiesta dinner plates fall over when I close the dishwasher door (see pic). The design of the tines holding the plates are just too short--they need to be about another half inch taller so the plates stand upright. I request that you redo the design and please send me a new lower rack.

While my previous dishwasher was like a freight train in my kitchen, this unit is very quiet. Like many others have mentioned, I don't even hear it running. It has a trade off to my old unit where it takes twice as long to run a load, which isn't a big deal as long as you plan accordingly. I would also agree with others that the bottom rack slides off constantly, which is somewhat annoying. The only other thing I don't like is that my unit slides so snug under my countertop that I can hardly read the touch options. It would be nice if all options lit up until you pick one. I have to get a flashlight to see them. While I am being nit-picky here, I really do love the unit and would select it again despite the minor improvement suggestions mentioned. It really cleans amazing! And I love the top rack for silverware!

I purchased this dishwasher as a replacement for my purchase and return of THREE Bosch dishwashers (yes, a total of three Bosh dishwashers in 4 months). After ordering and returning each of the three Bosch dishwashers due to faulty/cracking handles, I went for the high end LG model and haven't had an issue yet. I've had the unit for about just over a month now. The install was good and it cleans well. I love the third/top rack, but every time we empty the dishwasher in our house someone forgets the top rack until we realize a few items are missing and that they were left behind. The dishwasher does a nice job cleaning and it's very quiet, although the flashing blue light that's on when it runs can take some getting used to. My only issue is that the dishwasher does not fit flush with the counter and when the door is open my cabinet doors from the island won't fully open and they wind up knocking against the dishwasher door. Also, the door/bottom rack is very low to the ground which I assume is what makes room for the third rack and, when open, it's easy to trip on it or run into it. All in all this was a good purchase. Maybe this is because I have had such a poor experience with the Bosch units, but I am very happy with the quality of the LG unit and have had no issues with it thus far. If you're looking for a quiet efficient, good looking unit with a few bells and whistles this is a good machine although I do feel it's a bit overpriced.

Purchases this dishwasher after our previously functioning dishwasher got fried after a lightning strike. Great dishwasher and the third rack is actually a lot more useful that originally anticipated! Gets dishes very clean and without too many spots (when using a rinse aid). Very quiet operation, you can barely even tell it's going sometimes. The only things I don't like...the blue flashing light at the front of the unit when a load is washing is kind of annoying, but tolerable. Also, the run time for a normal load of dishes is 2 hours and 19 minutes...a bit long in my opinion. But does get dishes clean, so also not a deal breaker. All of our appliances are LG and they look very sharp in our kitchen.

    Just what I wanted

I had a Kenmore Pro prior to this machine and decided to buy another LG appliance since our washer/dryer and fridge are all LG and we've had no issues. I was skeptical about the third rack so actually took Tervis Tumblers and plates to the store to make sure they would fit with the third rack. Since the middle rack is adjustable this wasn't an issue. The third rack is somewhat useless so typically I put the tervis lids up there and sometimes larger utensils. But they come out clean. I bought this because of the adjustable rack as well as the adjustable tines. I was not happy this didn't have a heater to dry the dishes but as long as you keep the door closed after it's done everything comes out pretty much dry. Except there is typically alot of water on top of mugs or glasses. It cleans well and has the same music as my washer and dryer when it's done cleaning. It does take 3 hours and 15 min to run as I run on auto with extra spray and dry time. Make sure to read the manual for what cycles are right for you. It's super super quiet which was another of my biggest concerns. But like everyone says the light on the front that flashes when it's running is ridiculously bright (almost like a nightlight when the lights are out) and you don't want to look directly at it. I'm not in the kitchen usually when it's running so doesn't really bother me. Overall this machine stands up to my Kenmore Pro which I loved and almost took with me when I moved. But the features were about the same (minus the heated dry and third rack) and the LG was hundreds of dollars cheaper!

Third Rack and Fully Adjustable, Super Quiet!!

Installed it myself, very easy install if you're handy. Each rack has fully adjustable tines that can change angles or adjust flat for large pots or pans. Sanitation mode and different settings such as top/bottom rack only helps speed up the cleaning time for light loads. Beautiful stainless steel finish with very modern and sleek handle. Typical playful LG tone for turning dishwasher on and when the cycle completes. Love the option to turn on the LED light so it'll stay on after cycle complete, notifying us so. Great dishwasher, does a fantastic job!

This is the quietest and strongest dishwasher I have ever seen. I love the 3rd rack for silverware, super easy to load and unload. The configurations and space on the main 2 racks allow me to put anything in there, and better yet, everything (pots and pans included) come out spotless and clean.

This is a great dishwasher. I love the capacity. Lots of room and the third upper rack is great for silverware. So quiet you don't even know it is running. Easy controls. Looks great. The only thing is it must be so well insulated it even keeps in the odors. So if you only run it a couple times a week as we only have two people and not many dishes, it does have an odor when you open unless the dishes are rinsed well. But you can put all items in just the top or bottom rack and run an energy saving cycle with only one rack.

When we moved into our brand new house, it came with a cheap contractor grade dishwasher that would not clean anything. The dishes had to basically be spotless before putting them in and the still came out wet. This washer is great. So many different settings (half load, water pressures, temperature, ect). You can adjust almost all the tines inside which is great when putting in oddly shaped items. I saw that quite a few people saying that the run times are long. But it is worth the wait because the dishes come out spotless and dry. (And trust me, I have left some things VERY dirty just to test it) One of the best things is how quiet it is. You can barely hear it unless you have it in the highest water pressure setting. And even then, it is still very quiet. The third rack is a very nice feature as well. It just gives you more space to put random things. We typically put our more expensive cutlery on the top rack and our lids to tervis tumblers. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone. Well worth the money, and especially if you catch it on a great sale like the one around July 4th.

It is the quietest machine I've ever been around, washes dishes well, huge capacity, love the third shelf. My only complaint is the lack of lighting of the control panel, the options are difficult to read, but over time I don't have to read them, just remember what I want.

Overall, it's extremely quiet and cleans well, as long as you have it loaded properly. I love the moveable racks and partitions. Something that could use improving is the lower rack. It jumps off the tracks WAY too easily! Also, it would make sense that when you turn the power on, all of the selections should illuminate. Wash selections are very difficult to read if your lighting is not perfect. Keep a flashlight handy.

I purchased this dishwasher because it received an excellent rating in Consumer Reports. It was also one of three brands that would fit in the allocated space. My only concern was that the dishes might not be entirely dry because it does not have the heating coil. However, I pushed the extra drying time button, and my dishes were sparkling clean and dry. I particularly like the silverware holder as it has individual slots, and can be lifted out easily. Also, the 3rd tier rack is handy. This LG dishwasher is extremely quiet. If it were not for the flashing blue light indicating that the dishwasher is running, I would not know it. Also, at the end, a little musical tune plays ....cute!

This dishwasher is great! Gets the dishes very clean, runs very quietly, and the Extra Dry setting gets the dishes nearly dry (with the exception of some Tupperware items on the top rack that need a little extra towel drying). The only thing that could be improved is the length of the cycle (normal wash/dry cycle takes 2 hr 19 min and Extra Dry adds additional 1 hr to cycle) and if it would be possible to turn the flashing blue light off on the front of the dishwasher when the cycle is running. But overall, great purchase! We’ve owned for just over a year.
