I purchased this television less than three months ago and it is already developed a line of dead pixels. Because it is outside of the return. It Hass to be sent in for warranty repair. This is unacceptable.

This TV gently tipped over and the screen is completely smashed. The warranty doesn’t cover anything. I only had this TV for 6 months and now im shopping for a new one. Would never buy an LG TV again, so flimsy and cheap. Also the price has gone up about $50 in 6 months…

Great Smart TV. I'm very happy with this purchase. I love the white color. It as also a very reasonable price. I was looking for a small TV to go in my kitchen. This one is perfect. I purchased an antenna to go with it and even I was able to hook it up with no problem. It was also very easy to connect Netflix and the Fire TV stick. If there is a downside, it's similar to the other reviews, the volume does not go loud enough. It can be hard to hear if anything else is going on in your house. So, unless it's just you and the cats, connect it to a speaker, lol. Even with this issue, I would purchase this TV again. Worth saying it again...very reasonably priced!

I purchased this television solely because, in 2022, it it nearly impossible to locate one of this size (or smaller) that still includes Component inputs, a feature I desired for use with many of my legacy gaming systems (PS2, Xbox, Wii and latter model PSPs). I had hoped to find a smaller flat screen so I would not be required to dig out my old EDTV CRT packed away in the garage. With only TWO models I could find currently available on the market, I discovered that both were being manufactured by LG, a reputable electronics company I had purchased my 47" 3DTV from almost a decade ago. This model (24LM520S-WU) features a white construction build with a white/silver front trim. Included inputs are 1x coaxial, 2x HDMI (1 ARC), 1x composite (Shared), 1x component (Shared), Ethernet/LAN and 1x USB. There is also an optical audio (toslink) for soundbar or other applicable home stereo systems. With regard to the product build, this thing is LIGHT. Somewhere in the 7-8 pound range. The DC input is also not a fixed port, allowing rotation of the wire for 360 degrees, so you never need to worry about the wire protruding or bending in another direction. For a 720p TV at 24", the screen looks bright, crisp and vibrant. There are 8 default "Picture Mode" settings with lots of adjustable options for those who wish to calibrate their video output directly. After switching the default option to the "Game" mode, I was pleasantly surprised that the video quality was a good overall fit for my needs with little additional calibration. I only adjusted two additional options in the "advance settings" selection. Of the default options, I found the closest ones to my liking to be the "Game" mode, which runs more of a COOL picture by default The "Cinema" option does a decent WARM picture by default. The rest of the picture modes vary, but would likely use a lot of adjusting to find an image just right. The sound quality I have found to be decent for my old legacy games; however, there is some hollow depreciation with live action content, which I have tested with a few movies and baseball games running in the background, and is expected from a "budget" TV of this size. Thankfully, there are also a number of sound options including (simulated?) "surround sound," as well as several different audio modes to choose from and adjust if needed. Plus, there are four methods of audio output, including optical out (toslink) and a shared TV speaker & optical out function that even some of the large screen TVs don't have. As a SmartTV, several different apps are included with their Web OS feature. Setting up the Wi-Fi connection was super easy; however, I have not tried streaming content directly from the TV as each application requires a day-one update and the update requires you to agree to their online terms of service agreement, amongst which features language indicating that LQ will collect your viewing data to provide you with potential marketing materials. Too much of a hassle for me at the moment and I don't need potential ads popping up on my TV based around my "viewing experience," plus I already have several game systems that can boot my apps. I did however plug a USB thumbstick into the TV and was able to load several images and videos with no issue. Unlike some other TVs, the video playback via USB can also be adjusted the same way as every other applicable input. I also streamed Spider-Man 2 (2004) off Hulu on my PS4 and everything looked nice. Low lighting pictures from my iPhone do not to the screen justice, but one has been included with this review. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase and have already sought out a second TV of this model to keep in reserve for years down the line when no more component TVs are available, just as CRT televisions have long been out of production.

I have purchased a few smaller TV's over the years and recently another brand that I just wasn't happy with. It now sits in my basement. Anyway I had an older LG 24" that did go on the blink after 4 years and I remember I loved the picture so decided to look into buying another. When I saw this model online at Best Buy and seeing that it had the built in ethernet which is something I definitely needed, I figured I would give it a try. WOW! I thought my old LG TV was great? This one blows every small TV I've owned out of the water with it's fantastic picture quality, it's TV tuner which pulls in so many more stations than we've ever been able to get with others (I am on an antenna) and the cool silver color around the border instead of the stark white. The only thing that I added was a small soundbar to give it the extra boost needed. An inexpensive fix, especially for such a quality TV. If you are looking for a 24" TV this particular LG model is a must have! I have had virtually no problems, setup was a breeze and like I said the picture is vivid, bright and a pleasure to watch! The sale price was another factor! Such a deal! It's sits in my kitchen and I absolutely love it!

The TV is lightweight and thin, The interface is nice and has every major streaming service you need (Netflix, amazon, hulu, vudu, googleplay, and youtube). The picture is beautiful and sound quality is good for a small TV. Overall this is a great little TV that you can use at any place either kitchen, kids bedroom etc.

Great TV, It is lightweight and easy to carry and set-up; it was taken from bedroom to kitchen back and forth. It was a gift for senior and now kept in his bedroom. It is the perfect size. Both TV and remote are easy to use. If I find a 19 in tv, I will buy it for kitchen.

Was not sure what to expect from this little TV, but it has a terrific picture that is really clear. Love the white case surrounding the screen for a much classier look. It fits perfectly where I need it. Bonus .. its a SMART Tv. I would recommend this for sure.

Easy install and set-up. Quite acceptable picture, and the sound is much better than the 22" set it replaced without the sound bar attached. BTW, the sound bar didn't even bring the previous 22" set to an acceptable level...and my lady really likes the light colored frame.

Bought this as a tv for a spare room. It has a really nice picture, although the sound isn’t great. I was expecting that, so paired it with a sound bar. First time using a smart tv. Usually use a roku box, but didn’t have an extra one laying around. I personally prefer the roku interface, but that’s because it’s what I am used to. There does seem to be some lag with powering on and switching apps. Not thrilled with the app selections, but again, I’m a roku girl. Overall, I’m pleased with this little tv. I chose it largely because of the brand which I’ve had good luck with in the past.

LG - 24" Class LED HD Smart webOS TV. Excellent entertainment system w/ Smart capabilities. Great picture at an awesome price point. Works well streaming and HD. Easy set up, very intuitive. I installed in my Travel Trailer bedroom TV and have been very pleased.

Great picture easy to use. Only two issues I had was volume was too low and does support google play store. Other then that its a great little lite tv. Perfect for rv's and boats.

This TV was purchased for my wife's workout room. as it is close to her we needed a small tv that was still a smart tv. this tv has met our expectations. it was easy to set up and use.
