I have found this dishwasher generally acceptable but can't give it 5 stars because I believe LG could have improved some aspects that would have made it better. The biggest shortfall in my view is the drying function. In short, it's not very good. First of all, using a drying agent is absolutely essential. In addition, to get dry dishes night drying must always be used with the "normal" option and even then the dishwasher must be left for hours after the cycle is completed to get dishes that are anywhere close to dry. The drying function is completely below expectations and well below the performance of our prior dishwasher. Other disappointments are the bottom rack jumps off track practically every time it is pulled out to load. And finally, the design of the silverware rack is inconvenient with a large handle centered in the rack creates an obstruction. I would recommend this dishwasher to a friend with caveats about the drying function. On the positive side the washing function appears to be doing a good job, the larger tub is appreciated and it is so quiet that you almost have to stand right next to the dishwasher to hear it at all.

It’s very quiet and cleans the dishes well. Had a little difficulty getting the dishes to dry completely but still figuring all the cleaning options. Overall we’re very pleased with it.

I am pleased with this dishwasher. It is quiet; easy to use and dishes are clean. I have been using extra drying overnight and Finish so dishes are always dry. A nice surprise is I do use the third rack and half load feature

Had a Bosch previously, which did not have a heating element for drying. Worked ok, but, was curious about this model. It has a fan in the door that facilitates the drying. So far, pretty pleased. Was a bit surprised at the length of cycles. Close to 3 hours. When I looked up some info on it, seemed to be the was it is with newer models, apparently to save water. Not sure I understand that. I would think the power to run longer cycles would mitigate the water savings. Is very quiet. Don't hear a thing from next room. Seems to clean quite well. GE I had before didn't always get everything clean. Not cleaning everything off before I put it in there, doesn't seem to be a problem with this unit.

This dishwasher replaced my 8 year old Thermador dishwasher I think it actually cleans better and runs for less time and is very quiet. So far I am very impressed with it. My husband loves the front display of the remaining time to complet the cycle. The thermador had a blue light on the bottom to display on the floor and he said he couldn’t see it and would open always open the dishwasher in heat dry as he could tell if it was done or not. Hopefully I get the lifetime out of this appliance. I just purchased the LG stove this past week. Queens like this year has been one appliance after another going to the appliance grave yard after 8 years of life. They don’t make them like the used to

This dishwasher is awesome! Not only does it look great, but it is easy to use, very quiet, washes and dries everything perfectly! Definitely one the best dishwashers we've ever owned!

The dishwasher was easy to install. It is very quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes. It offers a variety of settings and even reminds you to run a cleaning cycle every 30 uses. The printproof black stainless steel matches our other appliances from another brand.

I love this dishwasher. It is very quiet which is important to me. The layout of the racks and tines is perfect. I like that it has both a flatware caddy and a top rack for flat items. I've only used this function once so far but it's super cool how it can be set to wash a half load (top or bottom). The only minor thing that I would change is that it's too easy to turn it on with a very light touch. When I am putting something in my cupboard, I often accidentally turn it on by lightly leaning on it. I didn't rate the dry cycle because I always let my dishes air dry and haven't tried it.

I like my LG=24" dishwasher. It is super quiet. I have to remember to look at the controls to know that it is running. Inserting the silverware in the container takes a little extra time; however, the silverware comes out clean. The smudge free outside is also a plus for the dishwasher. So far, I am happy with my purchase and its performance.

Nice and quiet, plenty of room for everything. Love the option to have a half load. Also, love the little top rack for bigger silverware. I would recommend this dishwasher.

Love this dishwasher. Great purchase and excellent experience with the install. It's so quiet and, with the Auto setting, cleans the dishes really well with no rinsing. My only complaint is it's difficult to see the control panel at night.

Dishes are clean and shine, machine is very quiet when on, best feature is the glass and cup rack can be lowered so stem ware fit well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

My previous dishwasher was a very cheap, eight year old Whirlpool with rusty racks and leaks, so this was a step up. It seems a little loud when it starts running. Not as quiet as many people say it is, but not loud at all once it gets further into the cycle. I really like the third rack for my silverware versus using the basket. Easy to scoop up and put away if you keep utensils segregated. The second and third racks are adjustable so that is a big plus. The tines on the second rack are really awkward. I put the pet bowls on this rack and they just collapse. Hard to get them to stay upright within the tines and I've tried every angle. I lose a lot of space due to this issue. The bottom rack works great. The tines can fold down which is super convenient for those who do a lot of cooking and have pots and pans. You definitely want to use liquid dishwashing detergent. The tablets don't seem to clean the dishes as well and leave some residue on the door. There was a minor defect in the stainless on the inside door so I chose to have it replaced, but decided to upgrade to the model with heated drying. I don't use Tupperware items so I don't have an issue with the dishes being wet when I use overnight dry, but I see soap residue in the areas that were the last to dry. Also a little more than usual on my glasses when I hold them up to the light so I'm hoping the heated drying will address that. With the exception of a little residue, the dishes come out VERY clean. Overall, I like this dishwasher and likely wouldn't have contemplated the upgrade had I not wanted a replacement.

This dishwasher does a good job cleaning, but has strange noises & an obnoxious ending song. (I'm trying to figure out how to stop the ending song!) Overall the dishwasher is good, but it has a large open space on the bottom rack that should have pegs to hold plates or bowls.

This LG dishwasher can improve its drying cycle. It leaves more residual water after the drying cycle is completed. The jury is still out for spotless cleaning of utensils. I have discovered left over food particles on occasion, however its power cycle for heavily soiled dishes and utensils is pretty good. The dishwasher is quiet and the touch activation display is super intuitive. The door closes easily and the inside of the stainless steel cabin is glistening and solid. This dishwasher overall has good quality

quiet running and great cleaning . Just scrape the dishes ,and your soap and they come out squeaky clean.

Love this dishwasher. Have had it over a month now and it cleans really well, even pots and pans with crusted on food. It drys really well too. My favorite settings are after dinner, delay start 3 hours so it runs while we are asleep. I use auto, extra dry, night mode for drying. It’s super quiet too when I run it during our awake hours too. The only negative is the bottom rack comes off its track more often than I’d like when pulling out at times, but a minor annoyance at best. Great dishwasher for an economical price.
