We bought this LG to replace a 25 year old dishwasher. We like the stainless steel interior and the third tray which can hold knives, spatulas and other flatter utensils. The LG does a good job cleaning and drying. We use the normal cycle with extra heat. We are very pleased with the dishwasher. The installation was not so good. The installer said our opening was not deep enough. When he installed the unit it stuck out beyond the cabinets by about 2 inches. According to all the measurements and dimensions it should fit perfectly. I wasn't impressed with the installer and we let him leave. Once gone I checked the situation and found he had run the hose behind the deepest part of the dishwasher which would not allow it to go all the way into the opening. I moved the hose down to the area where the unit is notched out for connections. Problem solved.

It is quiet and the dishes are clean, but the controls are odd and the options limited, more limited than the old Maytage it replaced.

I was very surprised at how quiet and efficient this dishwasher is! Dishes are spotless afterwards. Excellent space with extra compartment for spatulas or large knives. The design of the dishwasher allows for a lot of ways to wash pots/pans and dishes at the same tome

Love this dishwasher. Have had it over a month now and it cleans really well, even pots and pans with crusted on food. It drys really well too. My favorite settings are after dinner, delay start 3 hours so it runs while we are asleep. I use auto, extra dry, night mode for drying. It’s super quiet too when I run it during our awake hours too. The only negative is the bottom rack comes off its track more often than I’d like when pulling out at times, but a minor annoyance at best. Great dishwasher for an economical price.

So far the product has met expectations--it is much quieter than our old model, it cleans and dries effectively and has sufficient room and loading options.

If the middle rack is not completely pushed in so the nozzle coming out of the back wall clicks into the sprayer arm the dishwasher will leak. We used without issue for a week before it leaked through the bottom corner of the door. A product review I found determined this was the cause, hasn't happened since. Picked up when my 17 year old dishwasher leaked and ruined my hardwood floor (got drip tray for new install, recommend to everyone). Due to pandemic, didn't have a lot of options, chose LG to match my black stainless fridge and due to nightmare reviews of Samsung (and my nightmare experience with a Samsung fridge). I like the controls on the front with large display to tell how much time is left on cycle. It's not silent but on Normal mode it's very quiet most of the time, only hear when draining or filling. Turbo wash is noticeable but not loud. No heating element so dishes are WET even using extra dry feature (tries to use condensation to dry dishes to conserve energy, doesn't work). It washes about as well as our old dishwasher, but I think it depends a lot on the detergent you use, the prior model this replaced got a stellar cleaning review from a review site. Bought on sale for $750, but feel like I overpaid. LG dishwashers have poor reliability, so strongly consider extended warranty. If I wasn't worried about color match and they were available would have bought from Whirlpool family.

Glad I purchased...works well, virtually no sound, third rack is nice. controls are a bit funky but otherwise a nice unit as long as you know there is NO heat dry.

Our new LG dishwasher has truly impressed us! The cleaning cycles are powerful and thorough, leaving every dish sparkling clean. There’s plenty of room for all our dishes, and the interior layout makes loading effortless. It’s also easy to wipe clean after each cycle, and the fingerprint-resistant finish keeps it looking beautiful day after day. The sleek, modern design blends perfectly with our kitchen décor, stylish yet practical. The only small challenge is that the control panel lights can be a bit hard to see when the dishwasher isn’t in use, but that’s a minor detail compared to its excellent performance. Overall, it’s the best dishwasher we’ve ever owned, quiet, efficient, and a perfect addition to our kitchen.

Super quiet! So far we have really liked this dishwasher it is super quiet, cleans great and the stainless steel inside in very nice.

The dishwasher itself is great. It is extremely quiet. The dishes comes out clean. Easy to use. The only complaint would be that the dishes are still wet when the cycles are done. Other than that, we love it.

This is a great dishwasher. I really like the 3rd rack; really great feature. It’s quiet and the dishes actually get dry. Ultra clean.

The first thing I noticed about the dishwasher is how quiet it is. I had to look at the front controls to make sure it was running. Then I put a Pyrex dish in the dishwasher. I had baked a chicken in it and the fat from the chicken and the duck sauce I had used was really baked into the dish. Normally I would have to soak this over night. I didn't even lay this in flat, but stood it up right on one of the sides of the bottom tray. I set the dishwasher for heavy wash. When the washer finished and I took out this dish, it was 100% clean. I was impressed. But then the other night I had another pyrex dish that also had baked in grease and sauce. This time I laid it down flat, so the dish faced the bottom of the dishwasher and set the wash for normal. It came out as clean as the one I had set to heavy wash. This is a great dishwasher. Although it is the exact same size as the one I had owned before, it has a lot more room inside. I'm able to put tall item on the bottom shelve that I would not have been able to do in my older dishwasher. There is also a lot more room for the silverware. The top shelve also holds more drinking glasses. I definately recommend this washer.

DW is working great and looks nice as well. Love the 3rd shelf for small utensils. Super quiet as well. Would recommend to others!

This dishwasher is very quiet and does an excellent job washing the dishes. The front controls are easy to operate.

It's quiet enough that we find ourselves double-checking that it's actually running and we've become big fans of the 3rd rack. The front touch controls, however, are awkward and have a tendency to respond to any incidental contact more readily than intentional use. The lack of meaningful drying is the big downside, though.

Easy to operate and clean, very quiet. I have no real complaints othe than the first one I got didn't close and I need to get it replaced. Second one has been great.

Installed the dishwasher. Once installed started a load of dishes right away. This thing works perfectly. Very quiet. No issues. The only thing left to do is add a butcher block counter top to cover the top of the dish washer since we didn't have a regular sized dishwasher. We were using one of the small portable counter top dish washer and with this new unit I can wash about 3 times as much as I could with the previous one I used to do. It has been helping to keep the kitchen cleaner since I can wash more dishes at one time.

I was pleased with the dishwasher at first. We replaced a 28-year-old Magic Chef, still working dishwasher. It took a while (a couple of months) to find the best settings and loading of our dishes for our family of two. It would take us about 3-4 days to fill up the dishwasher before running. I settled on Normal wash> High Temp, with a run time of 2 hours 51 minutes. It was somewhat difficult to add the Rinse Aid directly from the bottle. I switched to using a measuring cup instead of the bottle. This way I could have the door open at a 45-degree angle so the rinse aid would go into the reservoir better without spilling out. The only unpleasant issue I noticed was the smell/stink when we would open the door a day after a wash to add items to the dishwasher. It smelled like a sewage. Running an empty dishwasher with a cup of white vinegar would help some but a day later the smell was back. I thought I was going to have to return the unit for something else. However, after some internet research I found the solution. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT TO RESOLVE THE SMELL ISSUE: After running and emptying the dishwasher you close the door> press the power button again> and PRESS and HOLD the START button for 3 seconds. You will see three dashes and you will hear a noise. It will stop after a few seconds on its own. This will completely empty the standing water in the dishwasher drain. Beside this bad design by LG of not draining the dishwasher water properly, by using the steps I stated above, this is excellent mid-range dishwasher for the money.
