Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We replaced a 15-year-old dishwasher with this beauty, and we found some unexpected upgrades were made in the meantime. This dishwasher not only features a 3rd-level mini-rack, but also has alot more "headroom" for large pots and pans in the lower deck area. They accomplished this by redesigning the wash area with a lowered floor, allowing more vertical space. The result is that the dishwasher can now accommodate more dishes, pots and pans in the same counter space. The 3rd (top) rack is not as useful as you might think, as it only allows for things that are about 1" or less tall, such as spatulas and carving knives, but it is handy when you don't want those things in the silverware rack. Also, they moved the silverware rack to the side rather than in the front, so there is more space from front to back for dishes, allowing two rows of dishes side-by-side. Easy to install and this new unit has places for installing screws in the sides to secure the dishwasher in place. All in all, great improvements for a super price (we purchased during Black Friday sales this year). Highly recommended.

We only had a crappy $50 Craigslist dishwasher before this one which we bought out of desperation after moving into our new home 4 years ago and the thing LITERALLY fell apart. This LG dishwasher is so quiet, my husband and I have had to check that out was actually running several times after first using it. We no longer have to wash our dishes before washing our dishes, crank up the TV while the dishwasher is running, OR flip the breaker outside the house whenever we want to run a load of dishes. Such a huge upgrade! The installation guys were fantastic as well- very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a new dishwasher.

It has some features such as the third tray (which was not worth it for me.) and the ease of rolling the racks, but that is it. Having said that I don’t think any dishwashers in this price range are that different. The energy saver models do not clean like the old models. It’s plastic and I wonder if it’ll make five years.

It replaced a Bosch that lasted 18 years. This one is quieter, but has sounds like water running that seem louder than the Bosch. It gets the dishes clean and we like the third shelf for spatulas and large knives. Overall very happy.

The drying of the dishes seems to be lacking as well. Not a huge deal because the machine runs quiet, it’s effective, and seems to save on electricity. Time will tell at the end of this year how much we actually saved. One other gripe I have are the touch controls. They are a bit too sensitive and I always seem to turn the dang thing on when I close the door. Overall, a real good dishwasher for what you’re paying for.

In most cases the turbo cycle is good enough for a normal to heavy load. Which should be efficient and save water. Not very quiet as expected but with shorter cleaning cycles it should work out fine.

I was a Whirlpool only owner, but not any longer. This has out performed my last 2 Whirlpool dishwasher. I also have an LG refrigerator which I'm also very happy. Next LG will be a new stove.
