Its a nice dishwasher and I would have given it 5 stars, except I wanted the same features in an LG dishwasher that wasn't smart and I couldn't find one. It makes no sense to me to have a smart dishwasher, which I'm sure I'm paying more for. LG not everyone is interested in smart appliances. Another issue I find, is don't lock the door after you clean out the dishwasher. It causes condensation inside when you add rinsed dishes for washing. A tip - Leave it unlocked so it will dry out.

We have been using this Dishwasher now for almost a month. Upon reading the instructions it told us not to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, something we have always done. So we followed the directions and to our surprise the dishes came out clean and sparkling. In addition, we have enjoyed how quiet it is. The install was easy and so far we are enjoying it. The last dishwasher that we had placed the controls on the top of the door. This one is on the front of the door which we prefer. Last thing worth mentioning is the finish on the front is easy to keep clean which is a definite plus!

Great dishwasher. Quiet, cleans well. I have had no issues with drying. Just use good quality detergent pods and fill up the rinse aid tank and you will have no issues. This unit has a small hose hookup 3/8 in I think so get the install kit that has both the small and large. Get a 16 Guage extension cord and snip off the end of you want to save a few bucks there.

Wonderful product in every way. No knobs sticking out to catch on clothes. Sleek black beauty.

We are satisfied with this machine so far. Had bought a Bosch 800 series but when it was installed it turned out to be faulty. We were unable to get a replacement so we bought this LG. Seems to be doing fine and was $500 cheaper.

Working wonderfully and has given us no issues so far! Relatively quiet even when using overnight near a bedroom.

Terrible experience!!!! Beware of Best Buy’s installers. I paid for the dishwasher, the installation fees, haul away fee and extended warranty which brought me to $1000. They come deliver and install it and after they’ve ripped out my other one, they say, oh we will need to charge and additional $400 to install an outlet. I felt stuck so agreed. Fast forward, it smells like it’s on fire and then trips the circuit. My 20 year old dishwasher never tripped it once. I report it and ask for a professional who knows how to properly do electrical and they send the same guy who says, the dishwasher was a lemo new one will be fine. My house could burn down and they say we can refund you only for the dishwasher and you’ll need to take off for the third day to let us come get the dishwasher. Horrible experience!!!!

This is an efficient machine and cleans my dishes perfectly.

Great dishwasher so far. Cleans great love the features and space. Just wish it had sanitizing mode and extended drying. Sometimes the dishes come out and they’re still very wet and if I don’t get to it in time it gets moldy

Bought in November - works great! Is very quiet and all our dishes and silverware are sparkling clean and dry when done. Plays the little LG song like the LG clothes washer when it finishes lol. The installation team was GREAT on time, very efficient and professional. So glad we purchased this dishwasher

Pretty solid dishwasher for the price. I’ve had it like 6 months now and absolutely no complaints.

This is a fantastic dish care appliance. Several modes from which to choose, roomy dish racks, and SUPER quiet operation, makes this the best dishwasher I've owned. There are also some great design elements such as the slided-out cutlery rack at the very top, which keeps flatware and knives from slipping out of place -- and frees up some bottom rack space if you'd like to remove the utensil/cutlery basket to make room for more plates, pans, etc. So far, I've not had to re-wash anything. Dishes come out perfectly clean (even bowls with dried food residue), and glassware is spotless and sparkling.

Like: Cleans great. Dislikes: This is the thinnest metal I have ever seen. Drop a regular fork on the inside of the door and it dented. The door will dent during installation with any pressure on it all. When un boxing, it will crush the outside metal with any pressure. The inside basket will not roll in and out straight and untracks everytime. The cycles are incredibly long. The door controls are hard to see standing at the machine. This is NOT the quality I expected out of LG.

Excellent dishwasher at a price point less than GE, Whirlpool and other brands. I've had a Bosch dishwasher at more than twice the price that wasn't this good. The dishes come out spotless and dry. If I had one criticism it would be that when the water drains, its a bit loud, but I can live with that since its short portion of the cycle and works so well otherwise. I like the configuration of the inside, including the top slide out rack for knives and other items. I much prefer having the controls in view for ease of use and never liked the handle sticking out on my old one and on most models. This is perfect

Definitely read the manual! But I do love the dishwasher and the fact that I do not have to pre-wash or rinse anything that I put inside of it.

This dishwasher is silent while running, until it’s complete. At that point a musical announcement comes from the dishwasher to announce END! There is a top shelf that slides out. It’s approximately an inch deep! I use it for knives that I don’t want damaged, plastic Tervis lids, plastic spoons and other things that need extra care. Stainless steal interior for more heat and silence while running!

I did have a Samsung before this, this one is much better-quality build, quieter, rinses better
