It cleaned beautifully was quiet and even though it didn’t dry like I wanted it was still pretty awesome! 3/2022 it started randomly beeping and powering down during cleaning cycles. It got so bad it couldn’t complete a ANY cleaning cycle without turning off. Lots of research and I found out that THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE! The control panel assembly’s are faulty and allow moisture to build up and basically makes the machine think the buttons are being pressed. LG warranty was worthless. I live more than 45 mins from the closest LG authorized appliance repair shop and LG literally said there was nothing they could do. Found the replacement part online and paid $236 out of pocket to repair. 5 months later the heated water circulation pump cracked and would VERY loudly screech and wouldn’t circulate water. Since there are no LG repair centers paid $267 out of pocket to fix. Now certified OEM replacement for the control panel assembly is malfunctioning, just like the original one. I did purchase an extended warranty on all replacement parts. Here’s the kicker…the control panel assembly has been discontinued and there are NO substitute parts!!! Only option now is to buy a new dishwasher. Just an FYI I am meticulous about doing routine machine maintenance and upkeep and making sure dishes are thoroughly scraped before washing. This was not user error.

A dishwasher Replacement Upgrade

I installed it as a replacement in my daughters' apartment, and it has been working like a charm. The interior space and features are exceptional for a machine in this price range.

It must be lifted back onto the track which is difficult with dishes loaded. Moving rack back onto the track causes plates to dislodge and fall down. Tines are too far apart for plates that are not large. Silverware holder is not versatile. Top separators dont allow larger items to be placed in the basket.

Great Dishwasher

Paid Best Buy to deliver and install it on September 15th. Ran my first cycle on September 16th and noticed a puddle of water under the dishwasher after about 15 minutes. Called right away and notified them of the issue. Best Buy sent a nice person to come and look at it on September 28th. They agreed it's a seal failure on the door and said they would replace either the seal or the door. October 6th today and no one can update me on a repair status, but they did tell me to call to request a replacement. That process took over 35 minutes and 4 different transfers. They said the soonest they could send someone to look at this again to "make sure it needs replacement" is October 12th. So all in all, about a month of something I paid for without being able to use it. Obviously I am not very happy with my purchase as I cannot run it. I will update as things progress.

NEVER buy a dishwasher that does not have HEATED DRYING. samsung has models that just POP THE DOOR OPEN after cycle to air dry. with this lg...you have to MANUALLY open the door for it to dry.

Don’t buy this dishwasher

It says 10 year warranty right on the front panel. Turns out this warranty is only for the motor. The water pump went out will cost $500 to repair. The whole dishwasher was $650 new. I would hope a dishwasher would last longer than a year and half. You also need to clean the filter quite frequently for it the clean properly

I had a dishwasher from the 1900s before this that operated better. No matter what setting you use the dishes come out absolutely soaking wet. I usually am not the type to go out and write a review but felt this one was completely necessary to help others avoid this scam.
