Quiet, Efficient, and Sleek—A Fantastic Upgrade

At 52 dBA, this dishwasher is pleasantly quiet. I can run it during dinner or while watching TV in the next room without any disruption. It’s not silent, but it’s impressively unobtrusive.
The stainless steel tub not only looks premium but also resists stains and odors better than plastic interiors. The front control panel is intuitive and easy to use, and the overall build feels solid and well-crafted.
LG’s Dynamic Dry™ system works well—dishes come out dry and ready to put away, even plastic containers. Plus, it’s ENERGY STAR® certified, so I know I’m saving on utilities while being eco-conscious.

Its alright, i wish things were not touch screen, as it doesn't seem to work the best. Not as sensitive to touch and i find that i need to push buttons numerously for tgem to work. Had to call technician after 3 uses for them to find no issue but it definitely has some malfunction.

It gets the job done with dishes coming out clean but it’s much louder than we were anticipating. There aren’t enough spines available on the bottom rack for more plates. The night dry feature gets dishes dryer than our old washer. For the price we paid, it gets the job done. I would have paid a little bit more for more WiFi connectivity.

pros: very easy to use, sleek design, quiet while washing
cons: can accidentally hit the buttons due to the buttons' location and their sensitivity (not a huge problem), personally not a big fan of the utensil holder because the cover falls frequently and the size of it can limit the storage of the racks

This is a great dishwasher! It cleans well and is so quiet! I like the different cleaning cycles and the timer that lets you know when it will be done. The musical tune at the end of the cycle is fun!

I absolutely love this dishwasher. It cleans super well and is easy to use. No need to pre rinse, just throw it in and go. And it holds a lot of dishes.

Love it! Super, super quiet, quieter than we expected. Cleans and shines the dishes. We don't have to pre-rinse the dishes, just scrape the food off and put them in. We don't have to buy the premium soap pods either.

I love this dishwasher. Never had one with stainless steel tub so it's the "classiest".
I"m impressed that it cleans dishes that have been in microwave with cooked on food - no pre-soaking or pre-scrubbing required - and that's on the 'Normal' cycle. Haven't had to use any other cycle yet because 'Normal' is doing a great job.
It seems quieter than the 10-yo dishwasher it replaced altho that never really was an issue because the kitchen is well away from where we are when it's running.
As a TotalTech member, I was able to get free delivery & installation plus haul-away for the old one. The installers were very courteous & worked quickly. I was very pleased with their service.
I highly recommend the TotalTech service. It's worth every penny & has saved us hundreds of $ already this year.
Highly recommend this dishwasher if you're looking for one that not the least expensive or the most expensive. For me, it's the most bang for the buck.

I replaced a Whirlpool dishwasher with a plastic tub. This one is better in every way. It's quieter, it cleans better, it dries more completely, even the door is smoother and the seals are better quality. I didn't think I'd use the flex zone function but I find myself using it all the time, it's very convenient when you have a small load and don't want to wait to fill the dishwasher, or when you have delicates that you want to wash with pots and pans.

very pleased with my LG dishwasher. I installed myself and was very impressed with the ease of installation. Over all the dishwasher works great and looks good also.
It's wonderful to hear that you're so pleased with the fabulous features of your new LG Front Control Tub Dishwasher! It's certainly one of the top choices in its class! We are always keeping up with the times in order to make life easier and more enjoyable for you. In reference to your drying issue, we recommend using Rinse Aid, and hopefully that will help. Should you require assistance, don't hesitate to contact the LG Social Support team on Facebook or Twitter using the handle @LGUSSupport and include the model and serial numbers of your dishwasher. We're eager to help you! ~Rita

This LG dishwasher has been a great upgrade for my kitchen. It runs very quietly, even on heavy cycles, and the stainless steel finish looks sleek and modern. Dishes come out spotless without the need to pre-rinse, and the adjustable racks make it easy to fit larger pots and pans. Setup and installation were straightforward, and overall it has made cleanup much more efficient. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and quiet dishwasher.

when there are kids involved in doing the dishes one must say to themselves are they really happy about doing the dishes? No they are not eliminating all the fancy, Danny, racks and all the extra buttons. The most beautiful thing about a dishwasher is it open space I’ve got it does its job, well this dishwasher does just that tons of space and it does its job well!! Strongly suggested when you’re doing multiple loads of dishes every couple days.

I’m pretty happy so far, initially the Turbo setting sounded like a jet engine! It’s gotten better, but still pretty loud. The lower rack does not slide out smoothly onto the door, which is very annoy when it’s loaded with dishes! However, it does do a good job of cleaning the dishes.

Design challenges. 1. The utensil basket has a fixed handle over the center that is in the way. 2. The bottom plate pull out tray should have additional wire supports on the bottom.. as designed, the opening allows square plates to project through getting in the way of the lower spray bar.. 3. The water supply plumbing is in the front vs the rear with no bottom (floor) flanges to control the hose. 4. The id plate is located on the right side edge of the door.. If the dishwasher is installed in the left side of the left corner.. the cabinet doors fully block access to this info plate.. Requiring removal of the unit or a cabinet door to view this info plate..
