Design challenges. 1. The utensil basket has a fixed handle over the center that is in the way. 2. The bottom plate pull out tray should have additional wire supports on the bottom.. as designed, the opening allows square plates to project through getting in the way of the lower spray bar.. 3. The water supply plumbing is in the front vs the rear with no bottom (floor) flanges to control the hose. 4. The id plate is located on the right side edge of the door.. If the dishwasher is installed in the left side of the left corner.. the cabinet doors fully block access to this info plate.. Requiring removal of the unit or a cabinet door to view this info plate..

I love my new dishwasher. I will love it even more when I figure out all the settings and how to use them. That might take a while, since I am not very tech savvy.

Very quiet unit! Cleans well. Vince was very helpful when selecting this dishwasher! Installers were in and out in ~45 minutes.

After delays in delivery and installation, the dishwasher is fine. It is working fine. Even though it is a different brand than my other appliances, it looks fine with the existing appliances.

I haven't had much time to review the instruction so that might have something to do with my issues. I don't understand why it is always turning on. I barely brush s against it and it comes on. Never had this problem with others I have owned.

We've had our disheasher for over a year now and can confidently say LG is not the brand to buy. They are inconsistent at best when it comes to cleaning and will often stop eith some random error code. The latch to secure the door is not solid causing high amounts of moisture to escape during the drying process. The display bar across the top broke after a month and the only waybwe could find out if it was covered under warranty was a $150 gamble on a service call. Save the headaches and time spend rewashing dishes by looking at a different brand.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Dishwasher (LDFC2423V) model. We understand your concern about dealing with inconsistent cleaning and error codes, especially after investing in the unit. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs.
As a first troubleshooting step, we recommend checking the filter to ensure it’s clean, as a clogged filter can affect cleaning performance. Additionally, make sure the door latch is functioning properly, as this can impact moisture retention during the drying cycle. If you continue to experience issues or have questions about warranty coverage, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport. We're here to help you find a resolution and improve your experience with LG products. We appreciate your patience and hope to assist you soon. ^Juvy

This is the third property I have installed this dishwasher. No complaints and have Been running well for over a year so far. Cleans well and dries well, considering being energy efficient.
I typically turn it on when I’m going to bed and use the “extra dry” function. Since it is running overnight, don’t really need to worry about anything and they are dry by morning.

Good appliance, cleans well, but a couple of suggestions: The silverware basket takes up way to much room on the lower rack. The control panel is difficult to see and can be confusing.

This dishwasher is much noisier than my previous LG. Also, the cable that keeps the door from slamming down when opened is either broken or missing. LG is sending someone to repair it, but you kind of expect it to work on a brand new dishwasher. Also, the regular cycle takes 3.5 hours!!
