Good dishwasher for a good price. Cleans dishes very well. This dishwasher is louder than my last dishwasher but cleans better. I just use the delay feature and wash overnight while sleeping.

I know it was cheaper than normal, because it was an open box deal or a return. It works extremely well. No leaks and functions properly. I couldn't have found a great deal anywhere else.

Not the best rack design. Difficult to load bowls. Just overall very basic and not very adaptable. Noticed too late that warehouse had strapped unit and dented the rear of the tub so I recommend diligence in looking over the products as soon as you unpack them.

I had it for two days when a wheel on the top rack broke. The majority of the rack is made from cheap plastic. When I tried to get service from LG, the chat agent was great until I asked for a better built rack then said my replies weren't showing and disconnected. Now I will uninstall and return to Best Buy. I am terribly disappointed in the quality and service from LG.
Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we're sorry to hear that your LG Front Control Dishwasher has been such a source of frustration, especially after two days after purchase. We would be happy to make things right for you, so please contact our LG Social Media team on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag @LGUSSupport including the case number. It's not as easy as my old one was. Everything is so technical. And it doesnt do a, dry only, setting.
Runs for nearly 3 hours with a medium load, and everything was very wet, clean but soaking wet. Also coyld use a better user manual. Its pretty tho!!

Pluses - it's quiet and the dishes come out clean.
Minuses - flimsy, no quick rinse cycle, racks are very thin, hard to change upper rack height, controls are sensitive and flimsy.
Items in the top rack fall over unless you pull open and push close carefully.
The manual does not include most of the options. For that you need to go to an online manual. That online manual has mistakes - for example, it shows the wrong key sequence to turn the chimes on and off.
The racks are made of very thin rubber-coated wire. I don't imagine these will last long once they receive the inevitable nick.
The machine is very very light and the door feels flimsy. The stainless steel on the interior is very thin.
There is no quick wash or quick rinse cycle.
The upper rack is height adjustable but has no lever or button like many other machines. You have to slide the rack all the way out of one track and put it into another.
The controls can be activated just by brushing up near the machine. I find I have to set the Ctrl-Lock both when it's running and when it's off to avoid stopping or starting it by accident.
Some people have complained about the flatware rack being in the back. Had they read the manual they would have seen that the rack was placed there for shipping only - it should be removed and relocated to the right-hand side for use.
I paid $450 for this dishwasher including shipping. I think it's a good value for that money but if I had to do it again I'd spend a little buy a higher-quality machine. Overall I give it an 'OK'.
I do not expect this machine to come close to the 18 years my outgoing Whirlpool lasted but am hoping to be surprised. Of course, I spent about the same amount of money on that machine 18 years ago as this one costs today.

It cleans fine, but it is noisy, the bin spikes are too close together for my plates, so it's a pain, and if someone leans against the counter where dishwasher is installed, very often one's hip turns it on! I wish I had chosen a different product.

We are very pleased with the LG dishwasher. The stainless steel tub is nice and the racks are easy to load. Very spacious. The dishes are cleaned well and the dishwasher is very quiet. Would highly recommend!

Cleans very well, runs super quiet.
Only con: it takes 2+ hours to complete.
At the end of the cycle it still runs a drying fan.
I crack the door and power off when it is done.
Consumer Reports really liked this model.
I bought the extended service warranty... just in case.

Considering the price, this dishwasher is a pretty good value. It's quieter than our old Kenmore (except when in Turbo mode, which is quite loud), and dishes come out clean. It doesn't dry super well, but we just leave it open to completely dry. The rack layout is different than our old one, which we liked better, but overall space is on par. Overall satisfied so far. LG is supposed to be relatively reliable so I hope it lasts a good while.

Caught it on sale, and quite happy I did! I hadn't purchased a dishwasher for about 16 years, and was amazed at the number of tricks they can do now.
It does its main job - clean dishes - very well, and with a minimum of noise. Just be sure to have your "rinse aid" container stocked, and you're good to go.
I was somewhat taken aback by the lack of any heated drying. Not just an option for "air dry", but none at all. I figured they must have figured it out, so took the leap, and I'm satisfied. In past years, I'd always chosen the "air dry" option, then left the door open for a few hours afterward for what was left. With this system, everything is dry except some plastic bowls - but even those are dryer than in my old dishwashers.
Minor quibble: Not wild about the silverware holder for the unit. Not "terrible", just not a favorite. As well as the unit functions, I'm not going to obsess over it. If it's the worst thing I can think about it, then the unit as a whole is a winner.

We recently replaced a four year old GE unit that was progressively worse at washing dishes, until it finally started triggering the shut off of the entire electrical wall it was plugged into. Before getting an electrician out there, we wanted to try replacing the dishwasher first. We picked this model due to the stainless steel and the quiet dBA.
So far so good! No more tripping the breaker and shutting down the kitchen walls power. The dishes are clean. The only complaint is it does not wash a fast as my old now. A standard wash and dry is over 3 hours. Even the fastest option is over 2. However, for clean dishes, I will take that.

Finally, after close to 25 years, it was time for a new dishwasher. With the selection avaliable choosing was not that essy. After reading dictiptions, specifications and many reviews, I chose a washer from LG that fit my requirements. I’ve now had the new dishwasher for about three weeks, and my selection has been perfect. My dishes, glasses and tableware all come out spotless and dry, and the sound level, while operating, is barely noticable. I would highly recommend the LG dishwasher to anyone lookingbfor a first or replacement unit. I’m sure you will be pleased.

Very quite. It is easy to use. It cleans well. The only thing is that when you stand in front of it it comes on so very sensitive to touch.

Stainless steel tub means sturdiness and less odor than the plastic tub. It's quieter than our old dishwasher, too. Ordered by phone since I had trouble with the app (?) due to my phone acting up. The woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helpful. The installers were top notch.
