We purchased the dishwasher for a little under $500 and picked it from the warehouse in Suwannee. It’s quiet and cleans well. Would have given it five stars but I noticed some dents on the inside of the door that coincide with the top rack. Probably happened when we closed the dishwasher and top rack wasn’t all the way pushed in.

This dishwasher is much noisier than my previous LG. Also, the cable that keeps the door from slamming down when opened is either broken or missing. LG is sending someone to repair it, but you kind of expect it to work on a brand new dishwasher. Also, the regular cycle takes 3.5 hours!!
Hi there, Kaye. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the noise level, door tension, and cycle duration of your LG 24" Front Control Built-In Dishwasher. Regarding the cycle time, we recommend selecting the "Turbo" or "Normal" cycle without extra options to reduce the duration, as high-efficiency sensors may extend cycles to ensure optimal cleaning and energy savings. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-24-front-control-built-in-stainless-steel-tub-dishwasher-with-senseclean-and-52-dba-stainless-steel-look/J7G5658CRX For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected], and our team will be more than happy to assist you. —Renzo

Purchasing was easy. I came for a stove and decided on a dishwasher last minute. The instore staff are well verse in their products and patient in assisting in the decision making with me.

Very simple… I have had this dish wash for a little over a year. It has leaked twice. When the tech came out he said it was improperly installed. Three months later it is leaking again. With a second service call I will have paid over half the price of a new machine. Our LG washer was also replaced within 2 years. Going back the Bosch.
Hi, PhilboS. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with your LG Dishwasher (LDFC2423V) model. We understand the importance of having a dishwasher that operates reliably without recurring leaks, especially after already having service completed.
For repeated leaking, one helpful step is to check that the leveling legs are properly adjusted so the unit sits evenly. If the dishwasher is even slightly tilted forward, water can pool toward the door and escape during a cycle. It may also help to inspect the door gasket for any debris or compression spots that could prevent a full seal. For more guidance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dishwasher-troubleshooting-leaking-issues--1390840766052. We’d like to take a closer look at what’s happening with your unit and assist you directly. Please send us an email at [email protected] so we can help move this forward. ^Juvy

We replaced a 20-year-old dishwasher with this unit. My wife is very happy with it.

Works great. Uses half of the detergent of the old dishwasher but takes twice a long to do a cycle. Really like the front controls.

The overall dishwasher is great. I don't really use the features--just wash dishes. I haven't ran into any issues so far. The cleaning quality is great. Dry quality is great as well.
As for installation, the technician was knowledgeable, kind, and respectable. He installed the dishwasher fairly quickly and with precision, and tested before he left. The company that hired the tech to conduct the install also had a third-party come in for free to validate the installation. I have no complains and all parties were terrific.
No question I felt like a valued customer from beginning to end.

Pros:
Sleek and modern design
Quiet operation at 52 dBA
SenseClean technology for optimal cleaning
Energy Star certified for energy efficiency
Flexible and adjustable racks
Cons:
The front control panel might be less appealing to those who prefer hidden controls
Some users might find the cycle times slightly longer than other models
Overall: A reliable, efficient, and stylish dishwasher that delivers excellent cleaning performance and energy efficiency.

We have been using the dishwasher since the purchase around 8 times, but 2 of them interrupt the cycle and mark an error (bE) so have to start over again. Is not noisy and it takes 2.29 hr to complete one cycle, the others take longer. However has a pretty good capacity and clean everything pretty well. We are going to get a new one in these days hoping we dont have any more incidents. Other than that very happy with the product.
