Im using it primarily as a side monitor but for the colors and brightness, its a pretty monitor. I would only recommend for budget gaming setups as its 5ms response time but the 100hz refresh rate is above standard needs for videos or fps games. If you going to game on it tho, spend a little more and get something reasonably better. Overall a great value monitor!

I resisted getting a new one for a long time, and now I wish I had done it sooner. For everyday use, (not gaming) it is perfect for the price. Fits well on a smaller desk as well.

The monitor turns on and displays a picture. That was my requirement. The VESA mounting is standard. The power plug is specific to the monitor, as opposed to one that uses a standard three prong power cord.
