We have only had this dishwasher a few weeks but we are very satisfied with how it cleans and love the way it looks in our newly remodeled kitchen. It has a very sleek design and is easy to program. It is so quiet I have to check to see if it is running! We also love the third rack for knives and lids!

I replaced my BOSH FOR LG.. I love it ...PROS: 1) Very sleek look, beautiful styling, possibly the best looking dishwasher I've seen across all price points. 2) Great Features - two rows of fold-down tynes in the lower rack, easy raising and lowering of the upper rack height, half load wash option either upper or lower rack, different wash intensity settings for each rack individually so I can have delicate action for stemware on the upper rack while simultaneously setting heavy wash for the dishes in the lower rack and, of course, all the useful wash cycles. 3) Easy installation**** (see cons) once your connection lines (power, water and drain) are organized. Excellent, very convenient and easy leveling. 4) Very quiet with normal wash. The turbo cycle, which I selected to test run the machine after installation as recommended in the manual, was noisier though. CONS 1) Most bizzare - the hole you drill in the cabinet partition wall between dishwasher niche and the adjacent undersink cabinet is so low..barely a couple of inches above the ground that it is almost entirely below the bottom panel (or false floor) of the adjacent sink cabinet area. Otherwise the water and drain lines are very likely to be pinched and kinked by the machine at the rear corner. This necessitates drilling a second hole in the sink cabinet floor. Which means if you ever have a water leak below the sink in the future, water will fall through the cabinet floor hole and onto the room floor which cannot be accessed. Be aware of this before you decide to buy. Download the manual and see this detail in the installation / preparation instructions to understand more. Of course, the durability and reliability will only be known over time. So I can't vouch for that aspect as of now.

My old dishwasher broke. I bought a new LG from Best Buy. Wow, easy installation, cleans so well. Love the third shelf for little things and silverware too! So quiet, you do not hear it running. Best Buy was fantastic with the sale and delivery! Absolutely a great dishwasher, great price at a great store!

Great dishwasher and much better then my last one. Love the steam feature on this dishwasher. Dishwasher cleans dishes first time and don’t have to worry about rewatching them. Only problem was the first dishwasher arrived with a big dent in the center of door but a new one was replaced. This dishwasher is supposed to be print proof but that is not true. Every little print shows up on this dishwasher and scratches are very noticeable on this unit. Overall I am pleased.

We have had great luck with all LG appliances and electronics. This dishwasher has not disappointed. The three drawers are very convenient. The middle drawer has adjustable height for larger items to fit. My favorite feature is the “Turbo” wash mode. It finishes a full load in 34 minutes! It’s the only cycle we use now. The print proof finish is great, so there is no maintenance to keep it looking clean. Also happy that we picked the model with no towel bar sticking out. All positive feedback from this household!

This dishwasher is superb! I've always doubted the ability of a dishwasher, and questioned the capability of truly clean dishes for years. I've spent most of my life pre-rinsing dishes before loading them into a dishwasher because I knew there would be pieces of food or stains leftover - but not anymore! This item was quite a bit more expensive than any previous dishwasher purchases I've made, but I'm glad I paid the extra money. This this does a remarkable job, and says in the owners manual "DO NOT RINSE DISHES BEFORE LOADING". Of course, large pieces of food should be removed, but I've never rinsed small food pieces or sauces off of my dinnerware before loading into this dishwasher and I've never had cleaner dishes. I attribute the wonderful performance to the steam feature (highly recommend the version with steam) and the "QuadWash" spray arm that features 2 oscillating spray arms. The 3rd rack is pretty useful for odd shaped cutlery (pizza cutter, long knives, etc.) that don't fit the traditional cutlery basket. The adjustable 2nd rack is a lifesaver when loading deep bowls or baby bottles. The only noise you hear when this thing runs are the steam jets. It is almost COMPLETELY silent during operation, so silent that I wasn't sure it was running the first few times I used it. Our home has an open floor plan, so I was concerned about noise from the kitchen being audible in our living room, but it's so quiet I could sleep next to it. The top controls are awesome, and display the remaining wash time in a appealing way. The digital readout "screen" is blended well with the finish of the top controls, and the buttons are "hidden" from view when the door is closed. My only concern is the latch mechanism. It "clicks" into the closed position when you shut the door, and sounds almost abrasive or "clinky". I do worry that this mechanism will wear out eventually and could be a difficult repair. I haven't had any issues, but it's the ONLY concern I have with the product. I would have much preferred if LG would have put more resource into this aspect, because this high-wear item (the door latch) is obviously used every time you open and close the door. I'm hoping it will never be a problem, but it doesn't sound as healthy as some of the competitor models when you close the door. Pro Tip: DO NOT USE DETERGENT "PACKS". I've used them and haven't had any issues, but the detergent packs mean you cannot include pre-wash detergent, which is a large contributor to a successful wash cycle with any modern "high efficiency" dishwasher. Use the standard dishwashing gel, which allows you to fill the dispenser and ALSO include a little bit of pre-wash gel on the top of the dispenser lid (the owners manual specifically instructs you to place it there), that way the dishwasher can apply a small amount of detergent during the "pre-wash" cycle, and increase the probability of a perfect wash. Plus, the dishwashing gel is cheaper than the "packs" - double win!

Don't buy this dishwasher. The direct drive motor went out after only 2 years of service. This left my household with out a dishwasher for many for several months while we worked to get it fixed through repair services. It cost me nearly $200 in repairs. Also, the dishwasher overall preforms very poorly for the $900 price tag. It never fully drys dishes and takes about 4 hours to complete a load on the only setting that gets the dishes about 75%-80% dry. The dish racks have severe rusting after only 2 years of service. The stainless steel internals are also rusting out.

Love this dishwasher so far. It’s so quiet and does a much better job than the one we replaced that was a different brand. Also no smell like the last one.

The Lg appliances are some of the best for the amount of money you spend. And with the factory warranty makes this the best if you want my opinion.

I have just noticed this dishwasher has water damaged the underside of my laminate counter top directly above where it is installed. The walls of the cabinets get pretty hot while running so I am sure it will be just a matter of time before they fall apart from heat damage. When the dishwasher is running, it leaks water on the top of the control panel. I don't like how soaking wet the dishes are after use. I have used all the different cycles and all of them leave a lot of water droplets on the dishes. I didn't notice any of the damage within the return period. Honestly, I didn't know I had the option of returning until after it damaged my counter top. The 15 day window had passed by then.

Absolute worst appliance I have ever had. Unit leaks every time we use it, and I’m still working with LG to get a new unit 7 MONTHS after my purchase. Stay away from LG!

Pros: Sleek, quiet, looks good-clean look, fingerprint free, washes well, roomy Cons: don’t know how long jet dry lasts after filled - don’t know fill level, doors don’t pop open when done leaving “smell”, needing your keep ajar sometimes

This is a very nice dishwasher with a third rack. It works well, looks great, and it's finger print proof. It's also very quiet. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Quiet and looks sleak. Fits nice and has a great capacity. Disappointing performance with cleanliness and drying. Pieces of bottom tray broke off within the first year and following year on the top. Has been limping for awhile and finally the plastic water spinner under the top rack broke off. Needing to buy another. It continues to run but not at the level of what I expect from LG.

Previously I could not answer my phone in the kitchen if my old dishwasher was running. Now it is barely audible, it is great to have a conversation in the kitchen now. It looks really nice and is the perfect match for my microwave. I love the third tier tray and the second tray being adjustable is superb. It is truly nice having a dishwasher again instead of just a sanitizer. I have not used all the options yet but it is working flawlessly.

I would not purchase this machine again. CONS:First, as in other reviews, this dishwasher does not dry. I don't believe you should have to purchase an additive (Jet Dry) to get good drying results from a dishwasher. I didn't have to with any of my previous machines. To get even close to dry, I now have to crack the door open once the cycle completes. Second, although this dishwasher has 3 racks and what looked to be good adjustability, most dinner plates lean against each other (bottom rack) and only narrow width glasses seem to fit properly on the middle rack unless you use the center space. Overall, I just don't think it is as roomy or holds as much as my previous ones. Third, installation went fine except for the template for drilling the connection hole under the sink. It seems that the template does not allow for the height of the cabinet floor, most of which sit higher than floor level (above a kick/toe plate). PROS: The front fingerprint resistant stainless surface cleans easily. I love the top rack for silverware, as it allows for unloading by grasping handles only. I also love the ability to adjust a rack up/down. Although the dishwasher does not dry, it cleans really well and with less detergent than I've had to use in the past. It's also very quiet - love that!

So far, so good. I haven't had a dishwasher in so long and I'm so glad I went with this one! Everything comes out so clean. I love the adjustable prongs on the racks and adjustable top rack. I can fit so much stuff and it is super quiet. I've been working from home and am currently set up in the kitchen directly in front of it. I only know it's on when it's filling with water, but even that is still pretty quiet. I can probably only hear it because one cabinet side had to be removed to install this because our kitchen is old and we had to remove a cabinet to put this in. It takes a while to clean, but I don't really know how long dishwashers typically take in general. The 'signal' for when it ends is really cute. It's a song instead of beeping. Only complaint is the front seems flimsy and like it will dent easily.

My new LG dishwasher works fantastically. Everything comes out sparkling clean, it holds a ton of dirty dishes as well as the pots used to cook dinner and it's SO QUIET. I absolutely love the 3rd rack for utensils.

i am loving this dishwasher. All the dishes are thoroughly cleaned without having to rinse again. So quiet I forget at times that I have it on. Very sleek looking and easy to clean any and fingerprints. So far so good.
