I would highly recommend looking at a different brand. This isn't the first LG appliance I have had issues with. Currently the latch seems to have gone bad on this one.

Last night it started smoking. Husband shut it down and turned off the breaker. Don't buy. Not worth it.

Dishwashers tip plate cracked which leaked water into computer. It is 6 months old.

Circulation Motor goes bad after 2 years or less

All food must be scraped off plates etc before placing in DW (unlike commercials advertise, regardless of which detergent is used). Circulation motor is extremely loud after 2 years of use!

Half the time the cleaner tablet isn't even fully dissolved by the end of cycle. This is the worst dishwasher by far we have ever owned!
