Had this exact model but with a different handle, purchased in 2019. Had some electrical issues with that one (seems like a total fluke) and was offered a full replacement. I purchased this one using the Geek Squad warranty and was thrilled to be getting a functional dishwasher again for our family of seven. Due to pandemic issues and shipping delays, this one was in back order. Due to the extremely unusual circumstances, we were able to get a “loaner” while waiting for this one to arrive. I purchased a Samsung model that was already in stock and was guaranteed I’d be allowed to return it for a full refund as soon as the new LG arrived. It took about six months and I’ve never looked more forward to getting rid of a dishwasher (the Samsung…it was awful!) AND receiving this LG replacement which was identical to our previous dishwasher except for the handle being hidden. We are THRILLED with it! It has so many adjustable tine options, the third rack for our flatware and other tiny items is phenomenal and everything up there gets just as clean as stuff on the cup rack, I appreciate the easily adjustable level of that top rack to accommodate either taller cups or taller items beneath it. Where we really see four main differences are how quiet the LG is, how much more is holds and how easily our dishes fit, how dry the items get despite neither units having a heated element for a drying cycle, and how much more thoroughly it washes our dishes. With the Samsung we were constantly finding ourselves having to either run the dishwasher a second time, because so many dishes were still dirty, or having to hand wash numerous items after running a normal cycle but before being able to put the dishes away. After about two months of that nonsense, we finally tried the heavy wash cycle on the Samsung, which we’ve never had to use on either of the LG models because they got our dishes clean the first time, and we ended up using that extended cycle for the remainder of the time we had the Samsung. It took a lot longer & used a lot more water (& sometimes things STILL didn’t come clean, especially on that third rack!) Somehow Samsung didn’t manage to produce an effective nor efficient unit but LG really seemed to mail it with this Quad Wash system and the many other features! I love the WiFi connectivity so I know when it’s done and ready to be unloaded, and I appreciate that it doesn’t okay some lengthy, annoying, high-note tune when it’s done washing nor does the door then pop open automatically at the end of the cycle (both of which were “features” of the Samsung we really disliked.) I will still occasionally find water in the curved bottoms of cups in this unit, but it’s nothing more than we had in our original Kenmore unit Which had a very effective heated dry cycle (with the heating element.) I was a skeptic about switching to a unit like this but after using this unit (& one identical on the inside & with all the same functions) ,I’ll never, ever go back! LG’s actually earned my trust when it comes to dishwashers! The ONLY thing I truly dislike about this & other LG models is the rather obnoxious LG 10-Year warranty plaque on the front. If I didn’t love the dishwasher so much (& especially now that I realize not all dishwashers are created anywhere remotely close to equal), I actually would have considered a different brand just to NOT have that permanent advertisement on the front. I like sleek appliances, clean lines, and a modern look. That rectangle really bugs me. All I have to do when I see it, though, I’d think of what we went through with our temporary “loaner” (Ugh…glad THAT’s over!) and magically I’m able to turn my head and walk away from the big logo. I wish they’d blend it in so it wasn’t so obnoxious…maybe lightly etch it in to the surface like etched glass or something. Other than that, I truly couldn’t be more pleased. I’m not just thrilled to have a fully functional unit again; I’m thrilled to have THIS trusty unit. Highly recommend.

It is very quiet and the quadwash does its job. The print proof finish looks great. What I really loved is the 3rd drawer and how you can line your silverware up. No more one up one down to keep them from “spooning” and not getting clean. Having it at the top makes it easy to see also. So far I like the steam dry. I haven’t used it yet but like the fact that you can wash a half of a load. It will take a little time to get use to the features. Happy with my 4 piece LG suite we bought on Black Friday. My kitchen looks so bright and new now.

Love this dishwasher and all the different features. I really like being able to connect to my phone and being able to check how much time is left on a cycle. The 3rd rack is great and really useful for silverware and larger utensils. I also like the fact that you change the height of the second and third racks to accommodate larger items if needed. It is also very quiet while running and I like the quad wash technology. Does a really good job cleaning everything so far.

We like the top slide out rack. It's perfect for those small things that just don't go anywhere else easily. The interior look is also pleasing as it is well designed. We have had no issues with cleaning of dishes or drying. Every load has been spot free and clean. This machine can be heard during operation but it is not loud or annoying. My only complaint is that my wife keeps opening it while it's running because I started it and didn't tell her. I wish there was a way it locked or indicated it was running on the front as our counter top covers the display along the top.

Using this one for more than a month now and it is really very quiet during the operation and connected to my phone via Wifi w/o any issues. The depth is about 0.75 inch more than the counter so, it comes out a bit

Like the third rack on the top. Cleans very well. The light on the inside is a nice touch.

The dishwasher is quiet and efficient. We usually do our dishes by hand since there are only two of us, but if we miss washing the dishes for a meal or two then the dishwasher cleans up the backlog quickly

I love my new dishwasher!!!! I have had it for over 2 months and very happy, especially having the 3rd tier. It's so quiet, I have to check that I put it on.

This unit was a replacement of 2 previous Samsung’s that both leaked. I have to say, I wish I had gone with LG in the first place! Does a much better job and is just as quiet! The racks are much better designed and the steam option is phenomenal!!
