Bought in March 2021. Now in July 2021 its leaking. STAY AWAY!! Writing this review while im on hold waiting to talk to a representative to make a repair appointment. Thought i was a Bestbuy platinum member. Guess that means nothing. If you look at the pics closely on the bottom middle. You can see water dripping.

This items broke 3 months ago and the service tech said the part was on back order. They offered to replace the door for $490 instead. I since had to buy a used dishwasher. LG is not good for appliances. we bought all LG appliance and 1/2 broke after 2 years use. The service cost for LG is now over $500 for both my microwave and dishwasher and only 1 of them works at this point. The image below is of the dishwasher is my living room not in use.

Huge upgrade over a Kenmore Elite that came with the house. Very quiet, cleans incredibly well. Somehow seems to hold more than the Kenmore ever did. The 3rd tray is a game changer for all the straws, tools and other things we would usually have to fish out of the bottom. Decided to buy this because our last experience with LG appliances was hugely positive. We had previously owned a Fridge/Freezer along with a washer/dryer pair that we had for 8 years when we sold our house and the new owners bought from us. We bought Samsung appliances for our new home and we've had nothing but trouble with them. Only gripe is that the app could be more useful. Washer turns itself off, but this disconnects the WiFi connection, rendering the app useless until you manually turn it on. That said, we didn't buy this because of the smart connectivity.

Beautiful, not fingerprint resistant but I don't even care because it works amazing!! The top rack is super cool. You can place your flatware up there or odds and ends. I was concerned caked on flatware wouldn't get clean up there, but it does. Very rarely does something not get 100 percent clean. Note, the manual says not to rinse the dishes at all, but just scrape the food off. The dishwasher does clean up the mess, but its ok to rinse the dishes as long as you DON'T use dish soap... only clean water.. I prefer to rinse the dishes with water first but you don't have to. This thing is huge. Ive had Maytag, Whirlpool, and GE and I've used Kitchen Aid. This bad boy cleans just as good as the Kitchen Aid and FAR BETTER than the other three brands I've had. Plus, you get a little song when its done. There is a turbo wash option that cuts the wash time to an hour. And hour and a half if you're using high temp or extra dry. I dont care about super dry dishes because I usually do dishes with plenty of time for them to air dry. So, I can't speak to that. I dont see much point in drying dishes when I'm into energy efficiency. The longest wash options can be over 3 hours, that's with extra dry, extra hot, heavy soiled pots and pans. I dont really care if I'm doing dishes at night. The turbo wash at 1 hour works fine for most pots and pans but does use slightly more power. I can fit so many dishes in here its crazy. Previously with my big family, I'd have to run two washes after meals... not anymore.. both the lower and middle rack are pretty deep vertically and horizontally. I love this dishwasher and have stated so many times since purchasing.

When I first started this LG Dishwasher it was so quiet, I found myself doublechecking to make sure it was indeed running. My dishes and silverware come out sparkling clean. It is easy to load and when more space is needed, I can use the 3rd rack for smaller items. The print proof stainless steel cover is easy to keep sparkling clean too.

Dishwasher works well but cycle is long. Fairly quiet in comparison to my old dishwashers, love the fingerprint resistance and adjustable racks. My plumber was shocked at the value.

This is my third new diswasher and the best one that I have ever had. My last one which was only three years old was replaced when I upgraded to all LG large appliances in my kitchen. It cleans extremely well from plastic items to pots and pans. It is quite easy to use and lets you know when the cycle is over. In fact, it repeately tells you how many minutes are left when the dishwasher is in operation, a feature that I did not have before. Be certain to use Rinse Aid, however, to insure better drying of all items.

This is a terrific dishwasher. I was upgrading from a 1989 model and had no idea how terrible my old one was. Mind you, it was clean, but this model sparkles. It's so clean with a glass that you want to hold it up to the light, just like in the old commercials. The automatic cycle is what I use, which takes about 3 hours, but I have used the turbo cycle, which is about the same time as an older model. DO NOT PRE-RINSE! I can fill a measuring cup of pasta sauce and put it on the top rack without rinsing, wait a couple of days, and it comes out perfectly clean. Same with eggs. Utensils such as wooden spoons and the like. I have not had to rewash any dishes so far. NOTES: Some have wondered about the lack of a space for dishes in the center of the bottom rack. This is because the spray arms cannot get to that area. This thing really wants rinse aid even though the dishes come out great without it. If you use the WiFi app and don't use rinse aid, it will bug you everytime you run a cycle. If you use night dry, which has the fan come on now and then to prevent fogging, it can whistle, so pop open the door the next day to avoid hearing it. Don't pull too far on the bottom basket. It might take a bit to get it back in if it gets loose. The third rack works well for utensils such as spatulas but doesn't force it. Water will pool sometimes on the tops of glasses and other items. This isn't a hassle, and I'm sure it's part of the Energy Star feature.

This LG dishwasher is fantastic! Very quiet when running and looks great with my matching stainless steel LG appliances. I have setup the WiFi and the connection does come and go as you turn off the system for energy saver but I am always alerted on my app when the wash is complete. Dishes always come out dry and clean and we also love the 3rd shelf for cooking items. Have been using it now for 2 months now. I bought this when it was on sale and glad I did!

I researched dishwashers for a month before I bought one. This dishwasher kept coming up as the best one. Ultimately, it was a wise purchase. It is incredibly quiet; you literally have to put your ear to it to know it’s running. My dishes are clean and shiny....and DRY! Fantastic. You’ll get your occasional bowl or glass with a little puddle on top, but that typical with any dishwasher. I usually open the dishwasher door when it’s done and wait a couple hours before putting them away. It has a WiFi function to start it remotely, but I haven’t used that yet. I just run it overnight and that works for me. My only bleh about it is that the function buttons are on top and I have a little longer counter top, so pushing the start button and seeing the time left is a little harder than it should be. But since I usually run it at night, it’s not that big a deal. It also has a filter basket that you can remove and clean. I’ve only had it almost two months so I haven’t cleaned mine yet. But that’s a nice feature. Over all, I would recommend this dishwasher.

First, this does a great job cleaning the dishes. It has lots of options for light and heavy duty and totally does the job, plus having a handle on the flatware/utensils rack is awesome. It’s got some issues though. Most important is that this will not dry your dishes with it base setting. Not at all, nope, the wet head is not dead here. However a combination of using a rise aid (pretty much a requirement in the owners manual) and always using the night dry option does the job. Annoying, but that’s the only way we found this to do any sort of decent drying. Two other minor issues: while it has a cool third top rack, don’t expect anything up there to be scrubbed. The jets don’t work if you have a loaded second rack. Eh. Lastly it’s got a really loud click when the door closes. I don’t remember that in the store, but also just an ‘eh.’

Super impressed with this Dishwasher. Was shopping around for a good dishwasher that could compete with my 10 year old workhorse KitchenAid. And I think this one has done it. So much room inside and the 3rd rack is designed so it barely takes up room from the upper rack and the racks seem very sturdy! Blasts away from everything in sight! You can’t even it hear it running!

We had completely remodeled our kitchen with all new LG appliances. We are very happy with this dishwasher and have no complaints - it's quiet, cleans well, we love the stainless inside and out. The feature that we love the most is the 3rd rack - don't think I ever want another dishwasher that doesn't have that. Highly recommended.

We love the stainless steel interior and exterior. I like the hidden control panel. It has a third shelf that works great for the long utensils and lids. The adjustable middle rack has been very useful for those times when I have tall items to put on the lower rack. It's quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes.

LG Dishwasher - Don't need WiFI

This dishwasher replaced a 14 year old Whirlpool. Does not use a heating element to dry, but uses the heat generated inside the tub. It does a great job of cleaning, however, as with our old one there is still standing water on the bottom of cups, if turned upside down, but the dishes/cups are dry. The silverware rack is a plus and we use it instead of the silverware basket, thus freeing up space. Also the 1st big rack is adjustable which is a nice feature. We do not use the WiFi as don't really need it. The thing we don not like about this model is the lower rack has tines that can be laid down to make room for say larger pots, however, with the tines up and you put large dishes in the tines will not stay up, the locking mechanism does not secure the tines. The only reason not giving it 5 stars is the tine problem.

Replaced a much repaired GE with a new LG and couldn't be happier. This dishwasher is quiet and actually cleans dishes. The third shelf feature, which I didn't think I'd like, turned out to be extremely useful. The whole transaction from selecting the dishwasher to its installation was perfect!
