Just Google “AE Error Code” and you’ll understand why you should NEVER purchase an LG dishwasher. They have a featute intended to protect your fllor from getting flooded that uses a float sensor thats triggered by a leak, but it gets triggered no matter what, and your dishwasher wont run. You have to call a technician out. Our technician has been out a total of FIVE TIMES. Last time he said it was a plumbing problem. Idiot. So we called a plumber out who said there was zero wrong with our plumbing. Thet cost $125. And now we’ve had to schedule through Sears for repairs bc the LG technicians are incompetent. Go ahead and trust the reviews of people who cant wait to say how good something is. Or you can listen to me and save yourself a whole lot of aggravation. DO NOT BUY AN LG DISHWASHER. Looks good, easy install. Drying function is 4 of 5, other options are great.

Extremely Disappointed with This Dishwasher Purchase. LG Dishwasher model LDT S5552S I bought it on 11/02/2022 I am writing this review with deep regret and disappointment regarding my recent dishwasher purchase. This particular model has failed to meet even the most basic expectations, leaving me with no choice but to express my frustration. Firstly, the performance of this dishwasher has been abysmal. Instead of leaving my dishes clean and spotless, it consistently leaves marks and food residue on them. This means that after each washing cycle, I am forced to spend extra time hand-washing the cutlery and dishes that have supposedly been cleaned. It is incredibly frustrating to spend money on a dishwasher only to have to do the job all over again. Moreover, this issue is not an isolated incident but rather a persistent problem. Every single time I use this dishwasher, I encounter the same disappointing results. The lack of consistency in its cleaning capabilities is beyond frustrating, and it has made me question the reliability of this product. Adding to my list of grievances, after a mere 7 months of use, the dishwasher's pump began running non-stop. This malfunction has forced me to seek the assistance of a repair technician, further exacerbating the cost and inconvenience associated with this purchase. In stark contrast, my previous dishwasher, a Bosch model, outperformed this one in every aspect, highlighting the mistake I made by opting for a lesser-known brand. In retrospect, I should have invested the extra money to buy a dishwasher from a more reputable and reliable manufacturer. To provide visual evidence of the subpar performance of this dishwasher, I have attached pictures showcasing the knives that came out of the dishwasher in their unacceptable state. It is disheartening to witness the decline in quality and the lack of attention to detail in the cleaning process. In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with this dishwasher. Its inability to clean dishes properly, the recurring issues I have encountered, and the subsequent need for repairs have made this purchase a regrettable one. I strongly advise potential buyers to avoid this particular model and consider investing in a more reliable and well-established brand.

Was not impressed. The coffee cups did not come clean i have exchanged it for the pro just because the way it washes

Washes dishes great and dries them on the extra dry cycle but the inside of the dishwasher stays wet.

We purchased this LG dishwasher to go with our other LG appliances. I spent a little extra on the model as it was. Supposed to tip of the line. It was only installed for 1 week before it started to show rust spots inside. Please see pictures. Best Buy is giving me the option to return it but that isn’t the point. There is no reason this should happen to a week old dishwasher. We now have to return to the store and purchase another one. Beyond disappointed.

Item is poorly packaged. We had bestbuy deliver the item and when it arrived, it has a massive dent on it and the handle is broken. My husband said the packaging of the item is to blame since it was poorly manufactured. For an expensive dishwasher, we expected better quality and now we have to wait another 1-2 weeks for a replacement yet again during a ridiculous time frame of 9AM-7PM delivery for both the pick up of the defective item and delivery of the new item.

Can’t get the dishwasher to work. Not installed properly. Have to wait 6 days for a service call. My dishwasher is loaded with dishes. I have to take them all out and wash them by hand. Very unhappy. Waited 1 month from purchase date for the dishwasher.

This LG dishwasher is fantastic! It’s super quiet, so you barely notice it’s running, and the QuadWash gets all the dishes sparkling clean, even the really dirty ones. The 3rd rack is a great addition for utensils or small items, giving more space in the main area. I love the sleek black stainless steel design—it looks great in the kitchen. Plus, it’s smart, so I can control it from my phone, which is really convenient. Overall, it’s easy to use, super efficient, and does an amazing job. Highly recommend!

Dishwasher is super quiet… sometimes I’m not even sure it’s running. It holds a lot of dishes and pans so we don’t have to run it as often as we did our old one. We didn’t even know we needed the 3rd rack but it has come in quite handy. It also really gets the dishes sparkly clean too which is a nice feature in a dishwasher. Highly recommend.

I have never thought I would ever own a dishwasher that actually worked! Not only does it have the third rock feature, but having the Jets on the door as well ensures the soap distributes and cleans everything thoroughly. There’s no grease no leftover film no food and it dries extremely well with a standard feature. It’s so quiet, the only time you were here is when the water is draining. I’ve been using the auto cycle, with a full load takes about four hours. I love this!

The dishwasher cleans very well and love the third rack. It's very quiet. The app feature is almost not that useful, but it does notify you when the dishwasher completes its cycle or when it is time to run a maintenance clean cycle. The second rack adjustable height feature is awesome, something I have not had previously, and allows those pans that are larger to fit in the first rack and have clearance. This review was only written approximately 30 days after installation. If something changes I will follow up with an update.
