Best Buy was quick and easy! In store they spent several hours explaining the best appliances as well as working with me to build a great package. The gentlemen delivering were super nice and helpful. Love my fridge!

I bought this new refrigerator last August 2024. After one month of starting to use this new refrigerator, I noticed an odd noise coming from the rear side of the fridge, which is a high-frequency band. It is a very annoying buzzing noise sound! When I turned off the power and turned on it, the noise sound disappeared for a while but this issue kept occurring several hours later.
I am so disappointed with the LG fridge appliance's quality because I believe that the LG product is very reliable to use. I can't return or replace this product due to over 15 days of Best Buy's return policy which is too short to verify the appliance's quality and performance.
Still, this morning, I am struggling against the high-frequency buzzing sound noise. I guess that this noise sound comes from the compressor/fan area. I recorded this noise. I am not satisfied with this issue and can not recommend this product. I wish to return or exchange this product.

Dead fruit flies INSIDE of the refrigerator!!!

Our house is newly built house in July this year. We started to get 2-3 dead fruit flies INSIDE the brand new refrigerator couple of days after purchase. We did not have any fruits and vegetables on the counter, we deep cleaned the refrigerator and house and treat drain with chemical and kept it closed all the time. However, we found more dead fruit flies even after cleaning and it got uncontrollable after 2 months. We contacted the best buy and they sent us a technician and he recommended us to exchange it to different one but best buy did not want to do anything because it was after retun window. We contacted LG warranty team and they schedule for technician but never showed up and found out that they canceled my case because they needed pest control certificate. We called pest control company and paid $150 to inspect and they gave us a letter which says they cannot find any flies all around the house except the refrigerator. We usually found around 5 dead flies inside everytime we opened the refrigerator and when we left the refrigerator door closed longer, we have more dead flies found inside of the refrigerator. Last week, we went on 1 week vacation, we cleaned the refrigerator and throw out almost all the food inside and the refrigerator door was closed for a week and we found 100's of dead fruit flies INSIDE the refrigerator when we got back. To get this many flies inside of the refrigerator, our house should be full with flies but we had NONE throughout the house. We provided all the pictures and pest control certificate to LG and they finally sent us a technician today but he said he does not know why this happened and he cannot do anything about it. He kept saying this is environmental problem even if we have pest control certificate shows our house does not have any fly problems. He cannot answer my quesiton about how they come inside if it is from outside. LG said they cannot replace or refund because it is not manufacture defect. They keep saying this is not their problem.
It is clearly manufacture defect because 100's of dead flies should not be found INSIDE refrigertor any circumstances.
I have never had any dead flies inside of other refrigerators that i have owned before. We deeply disppponted to bestbuy and LG and will never purchase product from them. My husband and i are so frustrated and upset about this and will dump this disgusting refrigerator tomorrow. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR UNLESS YOU WANT 100'S OF DEAD FRUIT FLIES INSIDE OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR!!!!!

Upon installation, everything worked except for the ice maker. LG customer service worked through the "steps" with me, which eventually led to me replacing the ice maker with a new ice maker they sent me. This did not fix the issue.
Eventually, they sent out an LG technician, who after servicing the unit for the second time somehow broke the entire fridge (freezer and fridge). Now, we are without a fridge with NO timeline for a repair/replacement as our current situation doesn't meet the "LG requirements" for a replacement. LG tech is "waiting for parts" before he can schedule another visit. We feel totally abandoned by LG. O, and my wife is 38 weeks pregnant, which they do not seem to care at all about. I've since gone out and bought one mini fridge and borrowed another, so that if my wife goes into labor, we have someplace to store food/breast milk at least.

Great frig so far. I've had the LG 25 cu. ft. for almost 4 weeks. No problems. Very quiet. Maintains temp in all areas. Veggies and fruit stay fresh and crisp for weeks. Very spacious inside with good overall view of food. Nothing is loose or falling off. Excellent fit and finish of interior parts. I bought the model without the dispenser. The dispenser accounts for most future service calls in all frig brands! So, not worth the future aggravation.
I'm 60 years old and owned many refrigerators throughout my life. So far, this is one of the best given the sale price. I'm very surprised I like it so much. I was hesitant to buy a LG frig after I learned about the class action suit against LG. But the extended warranty on the linear compressor and the comparatively lower price tag pushed me to buy.
The fingerprint resistant finish works very well, better than the other major brands.
As a side note, my frig space is 35 inch wide. There is a full wall on left side but this LG 33 inch model's door can swing open to 90 degrees no problem. The drawers can fully extend as well.
