This was an exchange refrigerator because the first had a dent in front below the water dispenser. In this 2nd refrigerator , There was a gap on left bottom refrigerator drawer and the wall where it was installed. The water from filter tasted rubber inspite of 10 gallons of water flushed out.

Based upon having this refrigerator for 3 weeks: Pro's: Lots of space and quiet! Prior refrigerator was Kitchen Aid 22.1. Simplicity of operation. I didn't need anything fancy. Pretty print proof for the most part and easy care. Use water and a soft micro fiber cloth to clean off any spills or hand food prints. Love, love the dual ice maker! The top ice maker in the door dispenser produces tiny ice cubes but make sure you use more than 1 x a week otherwise it will stick. The freezer ice maker dispenses a lot of ice cubes and is perfect for entertaining! Cons: I miss the fact that it doesn't have a dedicated area for a butter dish or egg tray. Get used to softly guiding the left refrigerator door closed otherwise it will "slam" shut. Need to lay any tall bottles or wine bottles in the Glide and Serve Drawer because this model doesn't have any an adjustable sliding shelf to accommodate the same. Now if there was an optional shelf for this model, would definitely purchase.

I love my new refridgerator! I can't even seem to fill it up. This was the first Thanksgiving I did not have to rearrange the refrigerator just to fit things in. I was able to put a whole sheet pan with two pies on the top shelf and I still had half the top left. The only draw back, and the reason I did not give five stars, is there is no light in the water dispenser. Also, picky I know, but you cannot get ice with the other door open. The crushed ice flies all over the place and they should have put a shoot or something to guide it. The door without the ice maker has to be manually shut, no swishing with your hand or it could not close. I have had it text me at work to tell me the door is open so I have to call the teenager to close the dang door. Other than that, it looks great, is very silent, and I get tons of ice with the dual ice maker. I simply love all the room it has and the well lit interior. Very please with my purchase.

This is a really stylish refrigerator. Beautiful stainless steel finish that hides fingerprints. Having a dual ice maker really comes in handy when extra ice is needed when entertaining friends. There is really quite a bit of room in this refrigerator and the LED lighting is more than adequate. I honestly thought that having a refrigerator with a bottom draw would take some getting used to but quite the opposite. I found that finding my frozen items to be quite easy. In fact more easy than a side by side. I love this product. It’s super quiet and blends in well with my other kitchen appliances. LG has a winner on its hands.

This is our first LG appliance having bought GE appliances for most of my adult life. We replaced a six-year-old GE that failed prematurely. We like the unit, especially the black stainless that doesn't show fingerprints well. The two ice makers are convenient for parties, but we haven't yet had the need to use the second ice maker yet other than to make sure it works. The upper ice maker produces plenty of smaller ice cubes for us and only takes up space in the door, unlike many in-door ice makers which also take up precious refrigerator shelf space inside. The bottom freezer has plenty of room, but we do miss a small basket shelf in the front of the door that our GE had. One disappointing point is that even though the control panel has a digital temperature readout, that only tells us what the temperature is set to, it doesn't give you the true temperature of the interior of the refrigerator. For an expensive unit as this is, it seems that's a good reason to take away one star. Our much less expensive GE had that feature. The smart control was relatively easy to set up and allows us to adjust temperatures on our smart phone. Not being able to see the true internal temperatures on our smartphone is a major disappointment. One last nitpick, the shelf adjustments in the refrigerator section aren't as flexible as our older unit, so we've had to rearrange how we've stored our food.

    Great French door refrigerator

I love this refrigerator! What more can I say? The LG was my second choice. Initially I purchased a Whirlpool French door fridge. I had had a Whirlpool for 17 years and had had a good experience so I bought another. After it was delivered I discovered a defect in the doors so they did not close properly. Best Buy was very good and was sending out another Whirlpool to replace the first one. As I waited I realized I would never like the Whirlpool - it was noisy and I realized I was losing a lot of space with the ice maker taking up space in the refrigerator. I went on line and looked at which refrigerators would fit in the space I had. I saw the LG and then found a recent article about it with a very positive review. I then went to Best Buy to see it in person and decided that this would be the new fridge. First, it is very quiet. You barely hear it. Second there's lots of room in the refrigerator itself. There are two ice makers - one in the door and another in the freezer. The freezer has a moveable divider in the drawer so if you have something large there's room for it. My only complaint is there's no space for butter storage like in my old fridge. I feel bad about not buying an American brand but this LG is amazing.

I've had this refrigerator for over a week (only), and it performs well. It looks good, seems to hold temperatures well, and makes ice fast enough to keep up with my five-member, ice-hungry family. When our Samsung refrigerator ices up for the last time (about every 6-9 months), I decided that it was time to send it to the curb. Due to our ice habit, having an ice maker in the freezer was a requirement. LG has very few options in this regard, so I am "stuck" with this model. And "stuck" is relative. Again, this seems to work well. But at this price point, to not have features that are standard in other brands' units is a bit disappointing: No divider in the slide-out drawer on the bottom of the refrigerator; no temperature control for that slide-out drawer, either; almost no adjustment of door bins; no folding shelves (included or available for this size). Annoyances: Left door slams shut. If we don't close it by hand, and simply push it closed, it slams violently. It seems this is a common occurrence, and I see no way to adjust the closing force. The water/ice controls need two presses to use if the display is not lit when pushing the buttons. The ThinQ app is almost useless (can't show me my serial number, internal temps, can't adjust the temps, etc.) One cannot fully extend the large refrigerator shelf without the left door open past 90 degrees (so you can't put this against a wall on the left). You cannot extend the right crisper drawer without the left door open. Finally, the general feel of the drawers in the freezer and refrigerator seems cheap. It may not be, and they may last 20 years, but they feel like they will break in my hands every time I use them. I'm comparing this to my former Samsung refrigerator with a much better feature set (all of the above "missing" items) and felt higher quality. But, as I said, it was a piece of junk when it came to actually being a refrigerator/freezer with its inability to keep itself from freezing up every 6-9 months. So I'm happy to have something that may be more reliable, but sadly, I had to give up so much to do so. LG cannot compete on features (and some matter, but none as much as the ice-making capabilities for my family, it seems). I wish at this price point LG could compete with Samsung or even KitchenAid (the latter was an option, except there are none of the models I wanted available for months, and we could not wait).

Overall, I like the refrigerator. Does well keeping things cold and frozen. I LOVE the fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The vege/crisper drawers are good size, deeper than many drawers in other brands, and they hold a lot. The wide meat/deli drawer with flip top is also deep and holds a lot. Could do better: The water filter is right up against the inside wall making it very awkward to remove and install a filter. The shelves are difficult to split/remove and return in place. The lack of shelf height high enough to accommodate 1/2-one gallon containers of milk, etc., without removing half of an entire shelf, is disappointing but my fault. I decided against a different model with a foldable shelf because I thought I needed the dual ice maker. I was wrong. Family of 4, heavy ice users, and we've never run out of ice with just the in-door ice maker. (Note: the large door bin is deep enough to hold a lot of larger containers, just not as many as my family uses, especially when stocking up.) Another item that's disappointing, once again my fault but good for buyers to consider: the dairy shelf. Reaching up and over the front side of the shelf to get the butter vs. flipping the front of a shelf to get to it, is more annoying than I thought it would be.

We could not be happier. It holds everything nicely, with lots of room for a large veggie tray I had made to take to someone. I like the ease of access it provides. No more things on the bottom shelf getting behind something and going bad. We also like the ease of getting ice cubes from the second ice maker in the freezer. The black stainless is so nice by not getting fingerprints, so it always looks nice.

Overall, it's a nice refrigerator. Initial delivery and installation didn't go well. This one replaced GE Profile series 25 cubic feet that broke in 10 years. This is the first non-GE refrigerator I ever purchased and I like it so far. First, it has two ice-makers. Second, very quiet, no noise at all. The front panel control displays the set temperature only, not the actual temperature of the freezer and refrigerator. It defeats the purpose of having a control panel that doesn't display inside temperature. I placed a thermometer inside to monitor the temperature just in case. If you don't place the cup or glass under the dispenser, both ice and water will splash all over. For ice, you have to put the glass very close to the dispenser and the lower for the water. It seems ice will clump together if it's not used for a while in the upper ice-maker. The LG wifi app, SmartThinQ really doesn't do anything meaningful.

We've only had our LG refrigerator for about a month but couldn't be more pleased with our purchase so far. I am the type of shopper who does extensive research on an item before I buy, so I had done my homework. First off, it got great reviews from others but LGs also rate highly with Consumer Reports studies and we've always had very solid success following their recommendations. We absolutely love the dual ice makers, the exterior doesn't show fingerprints (which I'm sort of compulsive about!) and it's extremely quiet. It's our first time to have a French-door style and it seems so much roomier than our previous side-by-side. We had previously purchased the side-by-side because my husband has back issues and we thought a full drawer bottom freezer would be difficult for him. But the handle on this freezer lifts up, making it super easy to pull out even when completely full. We would highly recommend this model!

We were due for a new fridge, but kept putting it off and nursing along our 17 year old one. We finally decided it was time and did extensive research - we looked at all brands, bur kept coming back to this model LG. IT is amazing. So quiet, two ice makers, everything is incredibly intuitive, from setting the temps, turning on and off the ice makers. And did I mention it's huge! I'm not sure how they did it as it doesn't really take up any more room than our old fridge, yet is seems 50% bigger - it's cavernous. We've only had it six weeks - but so far - so good! We couldn't be happier

Very satisfied with this LG refrigerator We've had it for about a month now and have not had any issues. It makes tons of ice and keeps our vegetables nice and fresh. The only 2 things I would change are: I wish the shelves were "more" adjustable in height. You really need to plan your layout, but once you get use to it, it's really no problem. The second issue is that you need to be careful closing the left door. (ice maker side) It tends to shut very hard. LG should try and figure out how to make it close softer. (tends to be one of the main complaints in other reviews) We have just got in the habit of hanging on to it as it shuts to allow it to shut softer. Not a big deal.
