Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to receive the new fridge but after the first and 2nd day I noticed when I was trying to use the ice that it made a loud grinding noise and it did it every time I used the ice maker. I tried everything to make it stop but realized the sound was coming from between the door front and inside of it so I had no way to look at it unless taking it apart but since it was brand new I ended up returning it. Best Buy was great no questions asked but I was disappointed to have had a newer model with the ice cube maker to be bad like that. I guess I am happy it happened when brand new vs having it a few months.

It worked decently since then, however, the freezer fan just went out. Seems like the longevity should be a lot longer than 15 months.

Floaties in the water

The water and ice we get from the fridge has tons of floaties in it. It’s like a white powdery substance. We thought at first it was just from the new filter, but we have dumped several buckets of water and ice down the drain with the same problem. Very disappointing for the price! Will try to get service, but im sure it will be a hassle.
