Normally I wouldn't describe a fridge as sexy, but this refrigerator by LG certainly makes the case. It is sleek, looks great with the stainless steel doors, and has a great front panel with buttons that are functional, well-lit, and don't distract or look tacky. There is a lot of room in the refrigerator side with great shelves, a lot of storage space in the door itself, and large capacity for storing fruits and veggies. Everything feels solid, it is easy to clean and maintain, and it holds more than expected. The freezer part is very good, although it is much smaller than anticipated and can fill up quickly. Fortunately, we have a standalone freezer to support this one. It is really nice having the ice bucket as part of the door, leaving extra room for the shelves. The freezer side also has drawers in addition to shelves, which is nice. Again, lots of storage space in the door too. It's worth it's fairly expensive price, and is a steal if you can get it on sale!

The unit works great except for recurring issues with the defrost line that freezes up and causes backup into the freezer. This results in ice build up in your freezer which has to be shut down, thawed out, then repaired and restarted. We have had several repair visits and the problem persists. We checked on-line reviews and this is a regular problem with other owners also.

Bought this for a second fridge used in our lower level. Very pleased.

Do NOT buy this fridge or any LG fridge. Both my sister and I bought this fridge and it went out on both of us. Turns out there was a class action lawsuit against them over a series of fridges, this one included. I have spent countless hours having them send out now 3 different techs trying to repair it and each time it breaks again and I lose all my food with it. The first time I lost an entire full fridge of groceries and over 100oz of breastmilk and they tried to only give me $150 for food loss and the second two times I lost everything they wouldn't give me anything because they only do one food loss claim per year. It's been over a month and I still don't have a working fridge. You might be thinking, this won't happen to me and they look like nice fridges but I swear just don't do it. I also bought a microwave from them which went out after 6 months but my Maytag dishwasher is fine after 4 years and so is my GE stove.

We got a great deal on the refrigerator and we are very happy with it. Great buy.
