Overall a good side by side fridge. The door in door for drinks etc is very convenient. Only minor issue is I wish the shelves were more adjustable in the fridge; the slots the shelves fit in are limited so you either have a lot of dead space above your gallon of milk (tall containers) or you have to squeeze all of them into the door in door. Neither is a great option.

Generally satisfied with this fridge. the Water dispenser is a little high so unless you're used to it, the water will shoot over your glass. The partial door needs a firm push to close and doesn't have the opened warning charm like the main doors. Still, like the implementation of the partial door - we find we use that far more that the main door. Finally, note that this fridge comes in 2 depths - standard and counter depth. The "counter depth" version is 4 inches shallower and costs $100 more.

I really love this fridge. The door in door feature is great! Love the black stainless steal- looks great. Only reason I did not give this fridge a five star rating is the fact the door in door does not have the alarm for when the door is left open (like the other doors have). I have noticed my kids not shutting the door and it would be left open for a considerable amount of time. My kids have since learned to shut it tight.

This refrigerator has so much room! The ice maker is on the door and leaves much more room in the freezer! I love the door in door design for my family’s most used items. It does have one downfall, it’s a little noisy. Not loud just a lot of weird noises. Don’t let that be your deal breaker, you will love how much space you have when you buy this refrigerator!

The door in door feature was the selling point for us. It allows us to keep the most sought after item right up front and easy to see. We keep most of the soft drinks there for visitors so they don't have to go searching to see what we have available. The crisper drawers are way larger than we realized at first which is great. Plenty of room for fruit, onions, salads and whatever else you need to store. Both will hold more than 10 pounds of potatoes.

Love the extra door compartment for drinks. Icemaker and water through the door are great too. I also love the spaciousness of the frig and freezer. Highly recommend.

I love the door in door feature. And the ice maker doesn’t take as much room as the French door model. I have much more room in the freezer as well.

Did a lot of research and decided on this model. Plenty of space for everything we need with 2 active teenagers. Runs quiet and looks great in black stainless

Love Love Love it. The third door for frequently used items is so nice. Very large capacity. Be aware of the depth (36") not every kitchen can accommodate such a large item. But the split doors makes it so the door swing isn't so wide. Ice make is great, but not a huge capacity for the size of the Fridge. That would be my only slight complaint. However, that leave more room in the freezer because it is only on the door, not inside and on the door.

After suffering through a Frigidaire that froze everything for over a year I finally started researching and settled on this particular brand and style of refrigerator. Most of our other appliances are LG and I've been very happy with them. As it turns out it was meant to be-this was a scratch and dent that happened to be at our particular Best Buy and was well within our price range. There is plenty of room for everything and I love the door in a door. My only complaint has nothing to do with the fridge itself-my kids need to learn to close that front door so it latches! ;-)

When I started looking at new refrigerators I thought that I wanted one with a bottom freezer. But, I looked at several, read reviews and then decided I wanted to stick with a side by side, I don't want to have to bend over and search for things in a bottom freezer. I like how little space the ice-maker takes up in the freezer. The pull out tray for the water dispenser makes it easier to fill pitchers and tall water bottles. The door in a door keeps makes it quicker to find the items we use frequently.

We have really enjoyed the new refrigerator, mainly for it's looks and spacious design. We never knew so much could fit inside a refrigerator. Our only complaint is that the door take a while to seal when closed. The alarm doesn't go off but the doors making a small noise as they try to seal to the frame.

Quiet running - much more room in freezer because of the location of the icemaker. Love the compartment opening door only for those little things you use all the time.

Great refrigerator/freezer. Plenty of space for a family of 4 and I love the water/ice dispenser on the freezer door. Only concern is that the door skins are very thin and will dent or scratch with the slightest pressure or hit. I wish it was a little thicker or made of a different material, but overall, I would not use that as an excuse not to be this.

Nice fridge. So far better than my last Samsung. Hopefully, it holds up better than its competitors. The freezer holds more than the pull out drawer in my last fridge. Two small cons so far I have found. 1) The console is very hard to see in the dark. No real sense of backlighting. 2) I would like the drinks in the door to get a little bit colder. Seems the airflow is a bit more restricted for the door. Not a problem but I prefer my drinks very cold.

This is my first door in a door refrigerator and I love it. I keep all my all the time usage items in it. The refrigerator is designed to maximize storage. My old refrigerator was the same size but everything was always crowded. Not so with this one. The freezer is more spacious due to the design of the ice maker plus it has solid shelves which are more user friendly. There is really nothing I don’t like about this refrigerator. Plus, as an added bonus, I’d wear very economical to buy!!

Works fine after a few weeks. The extra door helps get small things out with out opening the whole door and has more space for small things. Most of the reason we got it was that it had quick delivery and the one without the extra door would take longer. Our previous refrigerator was having problems. The ice and water dispenser have separate spouts which are easier to use than combined ones.

My initial "out-of-box" experience wasn't the best but I am very pleased now. I had it delivered without instillation. That was a good decision. The delivery team was excellent, They placed it very near the location allowing me space to connect the power and water. Very easy. It can be moved with little effort. My initial problem was related to the door-in-door gasket. I wasn't a fan of the door in door style. I purchased the only refrigerator that was quickly available. After taking off all of the tape, I noted that the door-indoor didn't seal. There was a large gap between the doors and gasket. I called LG, they were very nice and wanted to send out a repairman. I told them I didn't want a brand new refrigerator repaired but replaced. They understood and referred me to BB. BB was also very nice and willing to exchange. The only issue, was the refrig was no longer in stock and nothing suitable was available. I ended up softening the gasket by hand which helped some initially. Over the first week the gasket continued to get "worked in" and at this time there is no gap and a solid seal. I suspect taping the door for shipping compressed the gasket to cause the original problem. A long winded review just to alert others you may have the same issue with the gasket seal. Give it some time before you jump to a conclusion. I do think both BB and LG customer were considerate and "had my back".

We love this fridge. Tons of room we can't even fill it! Love the door in door feature; it's perfect for drinks and condiments. Ice maker makes ice pretty fast.

Love having a door just for soda storage works great I replaced my Samsung refrigerator with this lg totally don't regret it works great
