I want to start off by saying that we do love this refrigerator. It's gorgeous, quiet, we love the split door for frequently used items, and installation was fast and simple. I see a lot of complaints about the water angled out beyond the drip pan, hence getting water on the floor. We've had no such issues. It you hold the glass for 1/2 a second after removing pressure from the switch, instead of just quickly jerking it away, you get no water in your floor. The drip pan does slide out a little to catch the water though, if you want to do that when guests are using it. No big deal, really. Now for my gripe. I would love to have given this 5 stars, but exactly 2 days after our new fridge was delivered, we noticed the freezer was no colder than the fridge side (even though it was set to 0) and it still hadn't made ice. We called customer service...several times over several days. The self diagnostic said there was nothing wrong. Customer service literally kept having us, "Unplug it, wait 2 minutes, then plug it back in again." They then would say, "Don't open the doors for 6 hours. And, oh yeah, set the fridge to 34 & the freezer to - 4 and never change it." What? Anyway, a week of that and we went in to kinda gripe to Best Buy. Now LG wanted to repair our brand new fridge and the way I saw it I just spent $2000 on a reman. We didn't purchase the geek squad plan, but Best Buy hooked us up anyway. Called it a lemon. They took is around helping to find another fridge, but ultimately talked is back into this one because even though we did have a bad experience, they have the, "least amount of issues with the LG refrigerators than any other brand." They paid to pick up, deliver, and reinstall a replacement in 5 days time(and it only took that long because that was the next available delivery time open.) We love it. One more thing....by the time we got our new fridge, the refrigerated side failed too. It got up to 60 by the delivery date. We lost a couple hundred dollars worth of product. If we had purchased the geek squad plan the first time it would have paid for that too. We bought it the second time! They just don't make these things like they used to.

We loved the color as it goes real next with black, but isn't a solid black. The fridge gets stuff real cold and that's the main thing! We had a $2500 Electrolux and we're terribly disappointed with its ability to be cold for soda, beers, milk etc. Issues: 1) The extra convenience door does not self close, so if you don't push it till you hear it click, you're going to end up with a fridge full of warm stuff. Love the door tho!! 2) The water dispenser shoots you in the crotch. If you don't realize the idea is to use your cup to push he dispenser panel you get a spray of water into you not the cup. Other than those 2 issues, both are easy to overcome, it's the best fridge we have had in 30 years of marriage.

The hidden door feature is awesome and that's extra square footage to the refrigerator without sacrificing Extra Space on the inside. The crisper works great for vegetables and fruits. I can open the front or the refrigerator without opening the entire thing to pull out easy to grab items I love it

This refrigerator is sleek in design and very easy to keep clean. I love the black stainless, it's elegant and doesn't show as many prints as regular stainless. The inside is easy to clean and the door in door panel is very useful in saving energy.

So pleased with our new frig, like the 2 doors to access the frig. Water and ice dispenser works great! And, no fingerprints!! Quiet running and recommend this product and Best Buy for quick and reliable delivery! Hope all continues to go well.

Looks modern. The door in door feature saves time and energy. The fridge and freezer are roomy enough for a family of four or more. Love the ice cubes, water feature designed to accommodate tall water bottles and alarm system when door is open too long.

I've had my LG fridge for a month. It's roomy, and the door in door feature is so convenient. Love the way the doors close. Some reviews say it's noisy, but I haven't noticed that. The black stainless steel looks beautiful in my kitchen, and no fingerprints.

Great sized fridge, especially for the price. The door-in-door fits more room than needed. Only down-side is the water dispenser and ice maker is VERY slow, after best-buy workers installed it too.

Our first LG appliance. Best: the cold saver door is very helpful and works for its intended purpose. We're able to keep lots of drinks and foods we grab all the time there. Ice maker in the door is great too. The added shelf space is more usable than the little shelves on the door. There are still a few on the door for quick access to some small things. THE VERY BEST: the ice and water dispensers on the outside of the door. NO OTHER refrigerator has the ability to fill ANY size container. I'm able to fill large sports (half gallon and gallon size) bottles easily and directly. The bad was not really bad at all. Just had to get used to how the dispensers work. The ice is in the back(inside the depression in the door) and the water is in front of the ice. It's completely out of the depression therefore there's not a maximum height for the container. Highly recommend this refrigerator!

Had this unit for a week so far. Appears to be well-built and runs fairly quiet. The cons are: 1) The shelf positions are poorly laid out in my opinion. In order to put a good-sized tea pitcher or lemonade bottle in the refrig, we had to either delete one shelf or put one shelf two inches below another. A shelf with two-inches of clearance is barely usable. 2) The ice maker does not make ice nearly as quickly as our previous Kenmore unit. Yes, we can set the ice-maker to "max" position, but as soon as the bin fills up (overnight), it automatically reverts to normal speed. Then we run out of ice about dinner time. Arrrrgggg! 3) The ice maker is noisier when making ice than our old fridge.

We could not be more please with our new LG fridge! It is only slightly larger than our last fridge but seems like it has so much more room due to its design. We love the 1/2 door and use it frequently. Great Product!

I love everything about this fridge. It’s sooo spacious, and suits the needs of my family of 7. The door in door feature comes in quite handy, and is the most special touch. It’s super quiet, easy to operate, and keeps everything very cold.

I love my refrigerator. The freezer is spacious and and like the ice and water door cause it does not take space from the freezer. The door in door is very convenient and the rest of the refrigerator is roomy. Very happy with my choice.

Bought this new LG door in door refrigerator to replaced the 18 years old LG French door refrigerator. Loved the door in door to get the beverages refreshment and the side by side freezer too. LG a quality brand refrigerator, very convenient and saved energy!

Really enjoying my new fridge! Love to front panel water and ice dispenser. Like that we do not have completely open the fridge to reach some items on the door. But have to be careful the door complete closes. Otherwise very happy with the purchase!

We bought this refrigerator for our downstairs as an extra place to store food & drinks. It's sleek design & easy small door in the door makes it easy for the kids to grab their drinks without opening the entire door. Highly recommend!

The frig is a good size. Like that all the shelves are adjustable. The door in door is a great feature and convenient to grab a quick drink without having the entire frig door hanging open.

Same price everywhere, roomy fridge. Can't attest to ice maker yet, but everything else seems to work fine. Could have better lighting, but I do like the door in a door.

This refrigerator is spacious and convenient for our family of 5. The door in door feature is wonderful for our kids to help themselves to snacks and milk. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new refrigerator.

This Fridge is pretty big, looks great, the freezer is large, I like the front small door for drinks and condiments, but here is the kicker. The shelves are pretty much, place them in two different locations an inch and half apart or remove them. You don't have choices for large bottles like more than 2 gallon sized bottles. anything more would have to lay on their sides. The shelves look great but scare me every time I place something on them because they look so brittle. still to be determined there! I'm clicking"would recommend" because it is a nice fridge and for some would be perfect.
