We purchased this refrigerator by LG after we had a horrible experience with a Samsung (Model: RF263BEAEBC/AA). The Samsung has a poor in-door ice maker design, where warm air would enter the ice storage unit and frost up. It never worked properly. After 3 visits by the Geek Squad, they offered a full refund for a new unit. After more research and review of the in-door ice maker on the LG, we choose this LG model. It has a better design (no issues with ice dispenser), a huge amount of room, and a better storage design for both the shelves and door storage. We have been extremely happy with this unit.

We replaced a small side by side fridge with this LG. Very quiet. Lots of space. Ice maker is small, but we just keep some ice in the freezer bin to cover when company comes. I did buy an extra divider to make the freezer space easier to organize.

Replaced another LG with a compressor failure after 9 years. Hoping this one will last much longer! But it is very quiet and looks nice!

We have had the fridge for several weeks now. I like the space in it and the arrangement of the shelves and drawers. The only negative I can see is that the icemaker is very small . I use a lot of ice. It does have a space in the freezer to store bagged ice, which I plan to use. The icemaker bucket itself is small. For a family this would be a problem.

It's a great refrigerator. We like the size, features, icemaker, and the more fingerprint resistant outer finish. Highly recommended!

Refrigerator is very nice. Nice storage space. Like the easy view and temperature settings on the door as well as able to lock water and ice dispenser.

So far it’s fantastic. We love the set up with French doors. Ice makers and water are great. Lots of space and light in fridge. Easy to see everything. Freezer has plenty of space.

We love this fridge so far. Spacious and it has LED lights. I love the way they have set up icemaker. Used the door space and narrow drawers to keep something which means no space is wasted.

So far, we love it. we had a Samsung for years and it had a known issue that they still haven't fixed. While the fridge hadn't failed yet, I was done with it. This has a better layout, better shelf arrangements, and a fast ice maker. It does not hold much in the maker itself, but there is a bin in the bottom freezer to put ice in when the maker gets full. No wasted ice. Not fond of the app. It appears only one person can connect with it, so my husband tried it, and now I can't get connected. Overall, so far, so good. It has a nice sleek look, as well.

Big interior. Looks great and runs quietly. I like the size of the freezer and having a separate box to dump ice cubes. Also like the 24 hour speedy ice making mode. Very happy!

This fridge is huge compared to our last. After shopping for our family of five it wasn't even full after our weekly trip. I love the lights inside - it makes it feel clean compared to our last. We've had it less than a week though and it's started to make a whistling sound while filling up the ice cube tray. I'm hoping it was air in the line from some work on our street, but if not, its headache whistling sound that we will need to get checked out. If you are looking for an affordable fridge for a large family, this appears to be a good option.

Very roomy. Very quiet. Like the anti-fingerprint finish. Only negative is that after two weeks I am still getting a plastic taste in the dispensed water,

Fridge is quiet, makes a good quantity of ice. Removable ice bin and extra ice storage is a nice touch. Shows fingerprints but easily wiped off. Best Buy delivery service was amazing. I will be getting more appliances through them!!!

Really liking this fridge so far! Upgraded from a Samsung that we had a lot of issues with- this fridge is functional, the ice maker makes so much more sense where it’s located and has more space! And it looks great too!

Love this fridge, great amount of space inside, the dual ice maker and space saver is super functional. I also like the option to adjust the shelves. Lots of room in the freezer.

I gave it 4 stars, but I essentially rounded up. It is a really nice fridge that has tons of room for all our stuff, but I do have some quibbles with the design that I think is important for people to know: 1) The location of where the water comes out is too far from the back sensor that you supposedly would press your glass/bottle/etc. I find myself having to press on the back panel with one hand and position my glass with the other hand to get the water into the glass. The ice dispenser is in a better spot closer to the sensor. 2) The touch pad to switch between ice and water is a bit finicky. You need to make SURE it switches, otherwise you get water pouring out, missing your glass, due to the issue I brought up in (1) 3) The ice compartment is very small. It holds about 6 cups of ice. I think our old one held twice that much. We constantly run out of ice, but maybe we use more than most. 4) The deli tray requires you to open both doors since it's wide. This is probably a minor quibble since the single drawer is probably better for space optimization, but we keep our butter in there (no better place for it except on a regular shelf I suppose), so it's not as quick to access. 5) The shelves are not adjustable when stuff is on them. They have a very old fashioned hole and tab system. Our old unit allowed us to adjust while food was still on the shelves 6) The fruit and vegetable bins don't pull out far enough. The stuff in the back of the drawer are a little hard to access These are the little things that are annoying that you have to live with for many years that you may not think about when buying the fridge, and when you deal with it every day, you realize they are a bit of a pain. We did notice the shelf adjustment thing before we bought, but not the others.

Lots and lots of storage space, quiet and energy efficient. Ice dispenser tends to spit ice past the glass and onto the floor is the only drawback.
