Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.VERY DISAPPOINTED! this is 2nd time they brought a fridge, first time the plug was broken in transit this time very rude delivery guys, unhooked my old refrigerator to install a new one but decided leaving it in garage and not install due to my kirchen being on 2nd floor. left old fridge unhooked, blocking my stove and kitchen sink, now i cant cook for my young kids and having to buy it from outside, went to schaumburg store and store manager was not helpful and scheduled installation for 8 days from now, on oct 20, how am i going to cook and use kitchen while the old fridge blocking it? my husband out of town, old fridge does not have a wheel to be moved easily, i am stuck and no one is willing to help, spent hours on phone. i recommend not to buy big items from best buy ever. wasted my so much time on phone and taking a trips to best buy to reaolve the issues, since i made a purchase over 2 weeks ago.

For those of you unfamiliar with this terminology, the glass mini door illuminates when knocked on. This feature is fun and functional. We also decided to go with this fridge because it DOESN’T have a water/ice machine on the door. Our research concluded that those are usually the first things to break and cost too much to fix. The inside of the fridge is very similar to other LG’s too. We are happy

Despite Best Buy Protection plans, this Fridge has not worked since Day One for us. We have been without a fridge for 3 months because Best Buy and LG keep blaming each out and will not replace this fridge for us. A family of 5 without a working fridge with full warranties, unbelievable. Do not buy this product. Best Buy and LG will NOT help you. Both companies have told us that this LG product is notorious and the parts are impossible to replace. If you want a working fridge, do not buy this one.

By far the nicest appliance in my kitchen. Absolutely silent. Gigantic, without a huge footprint. Everything is solid, of good quality, and modern. I expect this to last a very, very long time. Unit was delivered within a week of ordering online. Website said to expect a 2 month wait. That didn't happen. Thanks Best Buy. You're always there with what I need at a price I like.

If you don't need an ice-maker, and want something with modern styling, this is the best one available at a reasonable cost. The only improvement I would suggest is splitting the meat drawer which is the entire width of the unit in two like the vegetable/fruit drawers. There is a similar unit with an ice-maker too.
