    I like the extra storage but the main reason we bought it was so that we wouldn’t be stooped down all the time doing laundry. It should almost be considered as required/standard equipment.

    I am a huge LG appliance and TV fan. This pedestal does it's job. It elevates the washer and dryer to a comfortable level to load and unload. It's sturdy and holds extra items if needed. What I've found is that I don't really use the storage because my laundry room is large enough for the items we use to wash and dry items. Regardless of whether we use the storage area, I feel the price is awfully high just to lift the appliance to a comfort level. LG shoudl consider lowering the costs of these.
