It raises the pair to a very ergonomic height, offers storage, and is strong and sturdy enough to put a full laundry basket on each of the open drawers. Unfortunately, they do not accommodate regular-sized bottles of laundry detergent, and the price is quite high, but I am happy with my purchase.

Great Pedestal for a great dryer.

Just need some time to get the distance correct between the dryer and pedestal so the screws line up. The dryer feet do need to be extended, or the screws miss the holes in the plastic clips that are mounted to the dryer.

Serves a purpose

Also, it cannot be used with small bleach loads. Adding soap and fabric softener is also a manual task with no dedicated places to pour them in. Otherwise, I use it once or twice a week for a small load or delicates to help speed up overall laundry process. I envisioned running small bleach loads like socks and such, but it still comes in handy otherwise. It's pretty quiet when running.
