This LG pedestal was a necessary evil, in that it’s super effective for storage and getting the front loading washer to a working height, but way too expensive. LG knows you need it so they get you good. Even with the high price I’ll give it a 5 star due to its ease in assembly as a base, size of storage and smoothness of drawer.

Excellent pedestal that matches the washing machine and dryer set. Built-in storage is plentiful and allows a tidy, put-away look. Drawer slides nicely. Comes all set up out of the box. The anchors require a drill bit to connect the machines in. Caution: If you are 5'6" or shorter, be mindful that loading detergent into the slot may require you to go on your tippy toes.

These are really expensive to add to your order when you’re out buying a $2,000 washer/dryer pair, but I recommend you do it. Especially if you have any kind of back problem or you don’t want to be down on hands and knees peeling the clothes off the back of the washer after each wash. You will be glad you did.

THRILLED to have the opportunity to purchase the pedestal/drawer. It’s spacious inside and the height is perfect for the space and for the first time in my life I will be able to do laundry with out back pain from bending down.

I really didnt want to buy these pedestals, but if you dont, your washer and dryer will sit too low to the floor in my opinion. The difference it makes in that alone and looks is a big reason to purchase these. You do also get the added bonus of some space to put things, but the bummer is you cant fit a regular size Tide or Snuggle. You have to put them in sort of sideways to work and make really sure the lids are tight so no leaking. The drawers glide open and shut very nice. What I hated about the set is the price. One nice thing about Best Buy is that they will price match though...so if you find this set at a lesser price somewhere else, if you can prove it, you will save money. At the time of my purchase they were not less anywhere else so I had to pay full price. I was not happy about this at all, but honestly, I would have been even more unhappy without having them. I love the washer and dryer so much though that these pedestals are a must so I went ahead and bought them anyway.

Pedestals are amazing. They make it easier to do laundry. They save your back and make a great place to store things. Who needs a hard to reach shelf above a washer when you can have easy to reach floor storage. Sure, they’re a tad expensive but you won’t regret these purchase.

This pedestal compliments my LG washer and locks on tightly and prevents any vibration or noise. It has a roomy drawer for storage space and lifts the machine to a height making it much easier on the back when doing laundry.

Loving having the storage pedestal. It holds a lot -- cleaning rags, fabric softener sheets, small bottles of detergent. Seems very sturdy and rolls out effortlessly. It's about 14 inches tall so it means I no longer have to bend down to load and unload, which is great.

I purchased a pair of these pedestals for my new washer and dryer. It's convenient to have the front loader higher. I use the storage for rags, towels, dryer sheets and the like. I like to open the drawers so I'm less likely to drop clean clothes on the floor, but rather in the drawers. The drawers operate smoothly and the washer and dryer are bolted to the pedestals. My only complaint is I think these are rather expensive compared to the actual washer and dryer.

Purchased two of these pedestals to complement new LG washer and dryer and highly recommend them. While not cheap by any means, they add height to front load machines making it much easier to load and unload. They are also well built and the added drawer storage is perfect for laundry supplies. Color match is also perfect.

I am enamored by the finish of my washer/dryer & pedestals. Extremely attractive and worth every penny. The installation was very straightforward and the added height it gives the dryer is perfect. The only thing I wish was different would be the drawer height should be a bit taller. I can fit a large container of detergent in it, but not standing straight up. I have to tilt the detergent to get it to fit, which is unfortunate, but only mildly inconvenient as it is merely a preference in my opinion. I am a fan of concealing many items in my home to keep a clutter free aesthetic and this pedestal definitely aides in this. If you are on the fence about whether or not it's worth the extra expense, I would tell you to just go for it because it's like the cherry on top of your new purchase.

I bought 2 of these pedestals for the new LG washer and dryer set we purchased from Best Buy. I was doubtful at first if I actually needed them or not plus the added cost. Since we were able to get all on sale from the Labor Day sales event, I went for them. Also Best Buy does not charge you to haul away old appliances.(the other guys charge $30 each piece to haul away). There was a $60 savings right up front so we decided to get them and are pleased. They raise the height of the washer and dryer so you don’t have to bend down. The bonus is the drawers . We store all of our laundry items in both drawers and have plenty of unused room still available. Outstanding quality fit and finish. Worth the money. I recommend this item.

Really glad I bought this for the washer, having a drawer to hide all the soap and dryer sheets is nice. It helps having the washer at a higher level. Looking back I should have gotten one for the dryer also but they were a bit pricey so I did not. Saved us from having to build a platform.

Bought 2 pedestals. One for the washer and one for the dryer. They brought the washer dryer up to a perfect height. The pull out drawer is great. Gives plenty of room for supplies. Very sturdy. Good quality.

This is the second time I purchased a pedestal drawer for my LG dryer. It makes it so much more convenient when adding or removing clothes from the dryer because it puts the dryer at arm level. It saves on back pain by not having to bend down to empty the dryer. It also helps for extra storage.

Very spacious compared to older models and different brands. Easy to open and close. The height it adds is a great thing through and through. Will save your back! They are pricey but 100% worth it.

Love the storage it provides, and is a must with the front-loading washer making it a beautiful set. It's also needed so you've got the height when transferring clothes directly into the dryer. I'm not such a fan of the price, as I remember them being $100 less (each) when I was pricing them out last year.

These pedestals are the perfect option to elevate your washer and dryer and increase your storage without sacrificing space. These make getting items in and out easier. And they look great!

Excellent addition to washer or dryer. Adds storage and more importantly, raises washer or dryer to perfect height. However, it is Expensive for what it is.
