I had these for my 2008 set and it basically adds a drawer under the washer and dryer. But, it raises the units higher off the floor. Saves my back from having to bend over so far to move the laundry around. And it sits high enough such that the door just clears the laundry bucket and moving laundry into the washer from the bucket is convenient. If you have the space, it is well worth adding these.

Absolutely love these drawers for washer and dryer. It raises the units up enough so that they are at comfortable height to slightly bend with front loaders. The storage space in the drawers is perfect for detergents, softener, dryer sheets and miscellaneous laundry items. Made my laundry area look organized and tidy.

I bought two of these pedestals to raise up our LG washer and LG dryer. We previously had two similar sized Kenmore pedestals but were told those could not be used due to the different brand-specific mounting brackets. These pedestals provide ample drawer storage with a divider for laundry products. It effectively raises the height of the LG front-loading laundry machines to make it much easier to load and unload the laundry. I highly recommend these pedestals.

Pedestals for LG washer and dryer were of high quality and was very happy that Best Buy had them in stock. They were delivered just a few days after ordering. Assembly was more straightforward on the washer than the dryer and the instructions were relatively clear. Again, the washer was a bit easier than the dryer, but the dryer is so much lighter to be lifting and manipulating. Overall result was good, the drawers and quite functional for storage and the lift of the appliances help with an aging, stiff back! Would recommend these and the good service I got from Best Buy in quick delivery of a quality part.

The pedestal is good to raise the washer and/or dryer to a more convenient height for everyday use. The storage feature is nice too. They are a little pricey for what they are, but do make doing the laundry a bit easier.

This makes it much easier to empty the washer and dryer. I purchased the washer three years ago and found the pedestal to be important to my old joints in reaching deep inside the oversized machine to pull clothes out so I decided to get one for the dryer. The dryer was delivered first so I got to see what pulling clothes out of the dryer without the pedestal was like and couldn't wait for it to arrive and be installed. It made a huge difference in the use of the dryer.

we always get pedestal with our washer and dryer. We are tall people so a pedestal help our back. these pedestal solved a lot of problems we have ran into in the past: - do not introduce extra noise nor shaking during washing or drying. the machines are very quite during operation that we dont have to scream to be heard. - the mounting is perfect. machines just don't 'walk' any more. - we like how the internal partitioning options. this is very subjective, but we like it, it is very well designed

This is a well made unit, specific to LG 27" wide front loading washers. It is not absolutely necessary but does raise the drum and door to an easier height to work with. It is well made and sturdy, but does strike me as rather pricey for what is essentially a steel drawer. That's LG's doing, not Best Buy's. It has to be sturdy because the washer is a bear that needs two strong people to lift it into place. I am calling it easy to use, but that's once the washer is mounted on top of it.

The storage pedestal is quite helpful and positions the units at a height that helps with loading and unloading. They are a little expensive though.

This pedestal is very useful and puts the washer or dryer up to a comfortable level. The extra storage space is a plus too, but they are way over priced

The storage drawers are great. They allow space to put cleaning products and the open and close easily. They also make the machines the perfect height for loading and unloading.

About a year ago, I purchased a front loading LG Washer and Dryer to replace a washer and dryer that were constantly malfunctioning. The Washer and Dryer were great, but you had to kneel pretty close to the floor to put clothes in the machines and take them out. We decided to purchase Pedestals for both the Washer and Dryer, and all of a sudden doing the laundry became much easier. Although the price is rather steep, they were really worthwhile

This pedestal has great height, a deep draw and it's wide enough to hold a lot of stuff but it's a little pricey.

I'm short but still wanted the pedestal to raise the dryer so I didn't have to bend to unload the dryer. I like the idea of the extra storage beneath the dryer for dryer sheets and the extra stuff that always seems to clutter up the laundry area. Since the laundry is in the basement on the same side as the sump, I like the dryer being raised higher off the floor in case the sump ever backs up. It hasn't happened, but it's a bit of a concern. I like the look of the dryer being raised and not dragging clothes on the floor as I'm removing them from the dryer to hang or fold them.

YES, they are expensive... but they are worth every single penny. We bought them so that the washer and dryer would sit higher and that's a plus for my wife. As a bonus, we get the EXTRA storage space. (Our laundry room is pretty spacious so the extra space was just a plus) This is indeed worth it IF you want them to sit higher and/or need the extra space.

When I went to buy my LG dryer, I wasn't thinking about getting a pedestal with it. In truth, I didn't know there was such a thing as a laundry pedestal. But, I am very happy that the Best Buy salesman informed me of all the advantages the pedestal provides, It is an accessible storage are for laundry soap and other cleaning items. Plus, it raises the height of the dryer so I don't have to bend over as much (at my age, that's a good thing). Well worth it!

I bought 2 pedestals for my LG washer and dryer. They both have plenty of room to store soap, fabric softeners, dryer sheets, etc. I will have to agree with some of the other reviews in that you cannot fit the jumbo size bottle of soap. These pedestals lift the washer and dryer up to make it easy to reach in and get the clothes out. I think the extra expense is worth it.

I love having a pedestal as it makes loading and unloading the washer so comfortable also love the extra storage it provides. I previously had an LG washer and pedestal and to my disappointment when I bought my new LG washer I was not able to use that pedestal, I had to buy a new one as they would not install the new machine on the old pedestal. So the new pedestal is just fine, almost exactly like my previous one that was in excellent condition and on its way to a recycling center.

Excellent product well engineered arrived packaged securely undamaged Easy to open fits dryer we had on top of it aligned up with the appliance was able to.level it with floor pleased The way to improve the purchase would be to have a lower price, as for it not being an appliance with motor, electronics and working parts, it was pricey for many homeowners to absorb into their budgets for home maintenance!

I like the extra height and storage space. I don't like that these are such a large added expense but a must have to aboid bending over.
