Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the 27UL600-W monitor's exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and impressive HDR performance. Many also find it to be a good value for its price and easy to set up. However, some users note limitations with the stand, lack of built-in speakers, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The absence of height adjustment is also a point of concern for some customers.

Having used many different brands, sizes, and types of monitors, this has been the best. I like a lot of real estate when using my Mac book Pro, and this monitor just works.

Great picture. I use it mostly for gaming, but also use it for coding and it performs really well. Clear images and definition in contrast color is great.

I do like this monitor a lot. I wish it had more controls for night mode that turn on automatically to ease the strain on the eyes in the pm hours. Screen image is excellent quality!

Good crisp monitor for computer work. My focus is text based and this does a good job with enough room to view several open windows simultaneously.

    Great monitor for MacBook Pro

I use this monitor with my 13" MacBook Pro. Excellent 4K. Minor issue: I use a 3-in-1 adapter (HDMI, USB-A, USB-C) for the monitor, keyboard and power. Each time I awaken the laptop, this LG monitor will display a warning to use only the cables that came with the monitor. I believe that this warning pops up because the HDMI cable is connected through the adapter. The warning disappears after a few seconds. But during those few seconds it hides any typing behind it. I use my MacBook screen during those few seconds. My MacBook has only USB-C ports, so an adapter is needed for the HDMI cable. I haven't tried using a single port adapter (i.e., HDMI to USB-C). 5 stars otherwise.

Very good monitor for the money The only thing I would add to this monitor if it was possible would be speakers other than that it’s perfect and the price can’t be beat

My Windows 10 PC would sometimes stop responding during start up while using the display port. My new MacBook Air worked really well with a USB 3 Thunderbolt to display port adapter using the same display port. My Windows 10 PC worked really well with one of the HDMI ports. 4K UHD movies would not stream in 4K UHD from my PC, Some UHD content did successfully stream from YouTube to my PC. My Roku Streaming+ 4K Streaming Media Player ( HDMI ) not only streamed 4K movies in 4K but also in HDR. My Xbox one and PS4 ( HDMI ) worked well at 1080.

I have always had a desktop Apple computer with the large screen. I recently purchased a new MacBook Air with the 13 inch screen. I find it hard to read all the documents I am working on without getting my face right up to the screen. The LG 27 inch screen is perfect for a more relaxing view of my work on screen. The picture is bright and clear. I am not a techie so have had some issues getting it synced with my laptop which I am sure would probably not be an issue for others with more understanding. I do find the LG switch on the bottom of the screen awkward and difficult at times. BUT, the goal was for a bigger, good screen and I got that!

I wanted a 4k monitor, the LGs seem to be among the highest rated. The picture and the colors are great. The stand is not adjustable. It wasn't a deal breaker but i did have to pay to get an adjustable stand.

I don't game on my computer, I don't do design work, and the light video editing I do doesn't require anything special from a display. I just wanted something that looked about as good as my MBP's Retina display, and my old 1080p monitor wasn't cutting it. This was chosen solely based on the specs I understood, the size, and the price (I went with an open box model) and I'm perfectly fine with it. I suppose a lower price model has to cut corners somewhere, though, and the stand is definitely where it shows the most. It's barely adjustable and feels pretty flimsy.
