It makes ice and it’s stored in a bin in the top drawer of the freezer. There are no pictures of this listed and it isn’t made clear in the description. Also, paid for installation and it wasn’t installed properly. It was leaking water from the water line to the basement ceiling for about 3 weeks before we discovered it. LG had to come out and discovered it was the installation. Then had to have the installation company come out and fix it. Paid top dollar for this piece of junk! Best Buy claims no responsibility.

This model has an internal ice maker that deposits ice into a freezer bin rather than dispensing it through the door. Your feedback is extremely valuable, and we’ll pass it along to the proper teams.
Regarding the leak from the water line, we’re relieved that it was eventually identified and resolved. Since LG service confirmed it was an installation issue, the responsibility falls on the installer, and we appreciate you following up to have it corrected. We also recommend contacting Best Buy customer service if you haven't already, at 888-237-8289, to address your concerns, offer assistance, and discuss potential solutions.
