A great little TV for an affordable price. The TV is nothing mind blowing, but it has a good picture and better sound than I expected. My main concern was finding a TV that would play all kinds of video files off of the USB port. This one supports many types of formats (MKV, MP4, etc) and plays them back perfectly. The stand looked a little flimsy in the photo but is actually much sturdier than I thought it would be. So far we are happy with our purchase.

Perfect size TV for our home office. Easy to set up. Picture and sound are great. We are very pleased with the purchase.

great color and sound. Directions could be better; rather hard to read & locate instructions for specific actions. But I'm happy they are in print; rather annoying to have to track everything down online when I'm tired. Didn't realize how fragile the screen is while setting it up; didn't find out till reading more of the instructions. Maybe that should be discussed at point of purchase?

I needed a TV that would fit into a piece of furniture in a bedroom, that was built to hold an old CRT 27inch Sony Trinitron. That limited the width of the TV I could use. A 32 inch screen was too wide. Something in the 28 inch class size is ideal. There are not too many screens of that size available and finding one from a brand I have had great experiences with before, LG, made this TV an ideal choice. I had to adjust the picture settings to get the image to my liking, but after those new settings the picture is excellent. Bright, vivid and sharp. It's a 720p set , but nobody can see the difference between 720p and 1080p on a screen this size anyway. It fits my need for a bedroom TV well.

I bought this "open-box" for my daughter and her Xbox One S. The image was just as sharp as I expected it to be. The colors are crisp and all that. Although it's listed as a 720p set I was VERY pleasantly surprised to find that it does in fact display at 1080p. As an 'extra' non-smart TV, you can't go wrong if you find one inexpensively.

FYI... this is not a smart tv. Quite good picture quality for a 720p set. 720p is fine for this size. Small bezels and easy to use. I replaced a 22” Samsung with this 28” LG for the kitchen. It’s overall size is only slightly bigger, as the older Samsung had much larger bezels. 6” in picture size makes a pretty big difference. Overall, satisfied... especially for the price.

Nice TV for the price. I needed a TV for my sunroom. Since it's thin and light it was easy to install on the ceiling mount that I had. I connected it to my cable through the Roku I bought. It was wireless so I didn't have to run a cable to it. I also connected it to a square flat antenna. I was surprised how many channels I get.

Purchased this TV and am very happy with it. I am using it with a roku and sling tv. Although it's a small tv the picture is clear and vibrant. We were happy with the factory settings and didn't need to change a thing. Setup was easy to follow. I would recommend this tv to anyone. Good quality for the price.

Needed a new kitchen tv to replace my 1080p Samsung 24” unit. Not too many small TVs available any more. This 28” lg fit the opening, but I found out you can’t connect any external soundbar speakers of any kind. No hdmi arc, or audio outputs! I adjusted the picture to my liking by turning off all the noise reduction and color enhancements that were automatically on from the factory. For a 720p screen, it’s not too bad once adjusted properly. The built in speakers are ok but not great, and no outboard speaker options as mentioned. The picture is better than any other no name brands!

TV serves primarily as a news feed in my office. It has a good picture, but average sound. The big draw-back is that there are no stereo output jacks so I can't pipe the audio into my stereo tuner/amp. Remote is easy to operate and the TV does a good job pulling in the broadcast stations through a roof-mounted antenna.
