Good deal for smaller flat screen TV.

My only problem is when first turned on the TV gives a LOUD statement of basic on-ness, and other data. I have not found a way to turn this volume down or better yet turn it off. My family has varied sleep schedules due to work and when I turn on my TV, even muted, the very loud initial statement wakes up others.
