There is a problem with the cooling transfer from the freezer. We had a licenced tech sent by LG, and he said it's common.
The reason for the review is it's right outside of warrenty. Best Buy and LG both told us to pound pavement.
Customer support is bad, and the engineering is bad.

Horrible company horrible refrigerator

Bought this March on 22. Three broken ice makers since then and now a broken cooling fan. LG is incapable of returning calls on open tickets, they have a repair company that doesn’t communicate when they will show up. This company more than the refrigerator are the issue. Stay away from LG.

Got a lemon

After 1.5 years the fridge and freezer stopped working. I see alot of good reviews, so I must have gotten a bad one. I've heard that the new compressors are made cheaply and don't last as long. Because of Covid, my service calls have been cancelled twice, so I am out of a fridge for a while. I had to buy a used one from a neighbor so I could save my food. I will never buy a LG appliance again!

(DON'T BUY LG REFRIGERATORS)
These refrigerators are having a problem with their compressors. We purchase one at BrestBuy in 2018 and paid $4600 and now is trash. Nobody wants to fix because LG is junk.
