    Just got it 2 weeks ago. When DELIVERY guys left I then noticed doors misaligned. And refrigde not leveled. Ice makes a mess and must be wiped down every time u use it. Too soon to tell more but looks great.

    knocking, humming noise, knock knock door lights goes on and off by it self. I'm glad I brought the extended warranty. My friend had the same issues of the humming noise and knocking noise, his compressor went out and it took LG 2 weeks to come out to fix it. I was told by LG repairman that they're a class action law suit pending.

    Had two separate quality issues. The water had an after taste and the vista view door light turned on then off intermittently. Had to have one unit replaced and the second unit repaired. Buy at your own risk.

    The compressor has now gone 3 times. I have lost everything in the freezer and refrigerator three times in a year!, Never buy this refrigerator!

    This is the worst refrigerator ever. I’ve had to purchase two separate water filter on for the inside of refrigerator and on for the outside of the refrigerator and still the ice when melts leave particles in your water or drinks. Called LG and had no help whatsoever. They said by a filter for the out side that’s all we can tell you. I would recommend to stay away from this refrigerator. The middle drawer the dividers move in their own and do not stay in place like the Samsung on so your wine bottle are moving all over the place. There is no space to store ice in the freezer and the water is always warm when coming out if the dispenser. Worst investment ever. Save your money and purchase another refrigerator.

    Loved the refrigerator until the compressor/evaporators failed after only 2 years. Three months and numerous calls and technitions later still don’t have a working refrigerator.

    Worst refrigerator I’ve purchased

    This refrigerator is the worst one I’ve purchased. I have another LG and this one does not come close to the one I have. The glass window light does not turn on when I knock on it but it turns on and off randomly. Sometimes it’ll turn on with loud noises as well. It’s giving me so much trouble and I’ve just had it for about 2 months. The left door swings back and forth and is so inconvenient to put my groceries away since it doesn’t stay put. It’ll just close on its own. It will not stay open! It is so frustrating! Please check it and make sure it’s working if you decide to buy it. Especially if you’re buying it from Best Buy! They’re not very helpful!

    Instaview light randomly turns on

    The product works well, however, after 1 year and a half, the instaview tap to turn on light, randomly turns on, when it senses conversations or loud noises.

    Doors were misaligned when we received it. Best buy send guys to fix it but it has been more than a year and it is still misaligned.

    Our experience was not good at all we almost had to have them take back our refrigerator because it wouldn’t fit through our kitchen door it fit through our front door but once it was in the house we couldn’t get to the kitchen dining door to get to the kitchen I’m still waiting for Best Buy to call me back to see what kind of compensation they will be giving us we had to hire a contractor we had to widen our door in order for it to fit into her kitchen

    I bought this refrigerator as open box and never worked. Real waste of money and Best Buy didn’t do a good job checking it before they sold me the unit. All went wrong on this one.

    Good but expected more

    So we've had this fridge for a couple of months now. Here are my thoughts: Pros - It's gorgeous, the dark finish looks really nice. The LED lighting is even and fades on and off, a nice touch. There's so much space, I'm looking forward to seeing if I can fill it up at Thanksgiving. Love the shape of the ice cubes, little pyramids rather than half moons. Large dispensers on door can easily fit oversized cups and tumblers. Quick access door on fridge is very handy, though improvements could be made there (see below). The CustomChill drawer is fantastic, we keep so much of our everyday use items in there that we can get to without having to open the main space. The freezer is well organized to hold quite a lot of items, the sliding shelving system works well. Cons - The ice chamber is very small, and it doesn't produce ice quickly (even using the Ice Plus feature). There's only 2 of us currently in the house and it's ok for us but when we had guests we ran out of ice several times. Luckily the dispenser can dispense cubes from bagged ice so we've been able to supplement the dispenser as needed, but for a fridge this size this is a pretty glaring weakness. The shelves in the quick access door are not adjustable. As is, it will not fit a standard 2 liter bottle which is a very common item to have in this space. We had to remove the top shelf to get the bottles to fit and while that works we now have unused space near the top because there is no shelf there. The interior space is also not suited well for taller type bottles like wine, pitchers etc. There is a sliding half shelf system that helps with this but then you lose that shelf space over the bottles. We ended up moving the shelf up a notch but that leaves us with one very narrow shelf. Just seems they could have done better with all this space available. No included thermometer for either the fridge or freezer space. The digital number displayed on the door is just the setting, not the actual temp which is basically kind of useless. Would have been much nicer to have an actual readout of the temps so we can monitor if there are issues. The Wifi and associated app seems kind of pointless, not sure why I would ever want to set the temp remotely. Maybe someday but seems a bit silly to me currently. Limited functionality and does not work with Amazon Alexa. All in all we like this fridge and would recommend it to people as long as they understood the drawbacks. Depending on your style of use, these may or may not be issues for you.
