Love the new fridge. It's exactly what we needed.

This fridge and LG is a joke. I thought I was buying a better quality product than the Samsung that I had before but I guess not. Just over 1 year the water dispenser light went out, an LED light went out in just over a year. The manufacturer is telling me to get a repair company out to fix it and Best Buy can’t do anything Because I didn’t purchase the protection plan. A $2,000 fridge and a stupid LED light goes out and no one can explain why or just take care of it. What is happening here? This is ridiculous. There is no reason a light that ONLY comes on when water is dispensing should go out in a year on a new fridge that costs $2,000!!

The refrigerator works great. The bad is it came with two scratches not seen until we just removed the protective (not in this case) plastic wrap. Once we removed the plastic a noticeable dent and scratch is on the middle of the left-hand door and a scratch on the side of the freezer door.

Just got it delivered yesterday. In the description it states “chilled water”. I waited 13 hours after installation but it’s still luke warm. I’m a bit disappointed, It’s April and it’s about to get hot, who wouldn’t love instant cold water. The technician who assembled the fridge stated 3 hours the water should be fine but I guess not. As for the ice maker, there’s only about 20 pieces in there. Does it take more than 13 hours for the ice compartment to be filled at least halfway? I hope I’m not disappointed in my purchase. So far I’m not happy.

We bought new in February 26,2022. It worked fine untill may. It started constantly showing error code FFE. After doing what LG says to do( multiple times over a couple weeks) the code came back after a day or so. Contacted lg and took a couple weeks to get a technician to come in June. Well after a couple trips back here it’s now august 12 and they replaced a couple parts today and after 3 hours the code is back on. The refrigerator will not cook at all but the freezer works. I highly suggest a Samsung over this

Horrible. Stopped working exactly 1 day after a year of purchase. LG wants me to pay for a fan motor that gave out. Spend money on another brand steer clear.

Less than one month of use and it is already damaged. Poor quality

Hands down best design and fridge we have owned. We had an LG prior that lasted about 11 years before needing to be replaced. It had similar features to this one but this LG is worth every penny. First, love the size. I can fit so much food in this in an organized manner. As a result, things don’t get lost or forgotten about. The ice in the freezer is the real deal. We used to have one in the door but I much prefer the freezer access as it does not jam and I’ve is always available. If they sent a plastic ice scoop, that would be nice, but Amazon sells them. Door storage is fantastic and due to ice in freezer you’re able to utilize space this way. Water has good flow and great design. Haven’t replaced the filter yet, so I don’t have an opinion on that. It’s nice and quiet. Overall I would recommend.

Our fridge nightmare story: We originally ordered another fridge only to find out the day of delivery that it was on backorder until February. Only reason we went with that option was due to the limited space we had in the kitchen cause of a small wall in front of the fridge. When we got home that day we ended up demoing the wall and we had a lot more room to play with. That Monday we got a call that the fridge was not being delivered. When I called to find out why, they said it was on backorder. We went back to the store and got a refund as we needed to have one ASAP. The salesman helped us and we found this LG fridge and it was bigger and better. Since we had more room to play with, we went with this option. They checked and only 4 were in stock so we jumped on it (not literally). This fridge was delivered not even 5 days later. There is so much room in this fridge! The freezer gets real cold too. The lighting is great as well. This fridge does not have an ice dispenser on the door. It's in the bottom freezer. For the price, this fridge is amazing. It did take roughly 3hrs or so for it to get completely cold. But that is a given based on the size of the fridge. The water is kind of cold if you do 1 cup at a time. But thats why there is an ice maker in the freezer where you can grab some ice cubes. I mean, that's what it's there for. The best part, no more ruined food if you don't close it all the way. It has an alarm that will keep going off until you close the door all the way. This fridge does have an app where if something is wrong, you put your phone to the top right corner and it'll diagnose it for you. It took me some time to set it up in the app as it's a bit confusing. This fridge does not have WiFi. But at least that help can help you diagnose it and it may be a simple fix. Word of advise...MEASURE 50 MILLION TIMES if you have to. I thought this fridge would fit through the side door and I was wrong. Thank god we have french doors that lead to the backyard and we got it through there.

We had an older model of this refrigerator and matching appliances. Therefore, when our refrigerator died (only 7/8 years later) we decided to get the similar model (only one of many LG models available) to match our appliances. The space configuration and size of the older fridge was excellent! Unfortunately they changed that in the newer model and not for the better - they removed compartments, changed shelving that are now less flexible inside and on the door, changed the ice maker location/ice options. They claim shelves are spill proof? No, when something gets spilled, it still seeps into nooks and crannies you cannot clean properly. You can no longer adjust shelves like before which was so much better, gave you the freedom to use for taller bottles, etc. Now, you also cannot adjust the door shelves and they got rid of the covered compartment on the door shelf - why? As for the water dispenser and ice maker. There is a slight change in the look of the water dispenser - looks sleeker. But the water dispenser still comes shooting out. We also had trouble with our old ice maker - it used to stop making ice and melt into/over the door and spill all over the fridge/freezer and floor. It actually destroyed the door by creating rust that was impossible to remove. Therefore, very early on, we stopped using the water dispenser and ice maker. Well, this time, I figured after all these years, there has to be an improvement? Nope, the water comes shooting out even more intensely that it makes a mess splashing everywhere! As far as the ice maker, it was moved from the door to inside the freezer. It makes ice automatically and spills it into the top freezer drawer automatically - this part is good. But it's supposed to stop making ice once it senses that the drawer is full. But it does not and the ice drops into the back and we can't reach to get it out. At first we had no idea what the noise was. I wish LG improved the ice maker and gave ice "type options" to use - that would be most ideal. I should have listened that the water/ice dispensers are a complete waste of money/space. Oh well, I really wanted to love/enjoy "upgrading" my new fridge.

this replaces a slightly higher end LG whose compressor failed at ten years. We chose this model because the icemaker is NOT in the refrigerator door. instead, it is in the freezer compartment, where it should be. Putting an ice maker in a refrigerator section is an engineering nightmare, and the condeser coil used to freeze up a couple times a year. No issue like this with this one. I notice there is more room for stuffr in the top refrigerator section with the ice maker moved out of the door. So far it is working very well. about the only thing that is a minor ding, there are two smaller drawers in the refrigerator section. You can not open either of those drawers fully unless BOTH upper doors are open.

So far so good, holds at 3 degrees freezer, 33 fridge. Liking the print resistant stainless steel finish, lots of space. Very quiet. Veggies and salads keep longer than our prior unit. Low humidity. We had an upper end LG 3 door for 11 years with water and ice in the door, rarely used the water but the in door ice storage was a pain, always made clumps of ice in the door bin that would not dispense. Had to remove the clump. The new one has water only in the door, the ice drops into a bin in the freezer, so far no issues or jams, The old one also had twin compressors, that would get colder than this one, maybe too cold. The new one is less complicated, still lots of space, especially in the door without the ice maker. Limited shelf positions compared to the other, but Glad we bought it. The Best Buy on line purchase and pick up in store was smooth without a hitch. This was at a time when appliance availability was not good, and pricing was crazy couldn’t find this in stock anywhere let alone on display, went on line and ordered, got it in 3 days, secure in an unopened box, loaded into my horse trailer at the curb,

Incredible experience buying through Best Buy. Great delivery (no damages, no delays), and this fridge has excellent storage! Also I love that the water dispenser fills my cups up twice as fast as my old fridge and I’m grateful for amazing ice cubes in the freezer. Very satisfied!

We replaced our Samsung (with its fatal icemaker design flaw) with this model about a month ago, and thus far it's proven to be a great choice. The capacity of this refrigerator is unmatched at the price. It's not quite as deep as the old fridge, so it sticks out less despite the somewhat higher capacity. The water dispenser fills quickly and can easily handle any size of container. The icemaker works quickly, keeps the bin full, and makes great ice. Just 3 minor issues: 1. The left door shuts harder than I'd like, probably because of the mechanism that slips into the middle to seal between the doors. 2. The bottom wide tray in the refrigerator compartment requires both doors to be open to access it. Not a huge problem, but I would've preferred a split drawer in that space. 3. The angle and force of the water dispenser makes it tricky to hit the opening of the container. I've spilled water a few times, and if you're trying to fill a very small container or a narrow-necked container, you'll probably spill a few times. It's just water, of course, but kids especially might have some trouble getting the hang of it. Overall, however, this is a top notch refrigerator and an excellent value. I could've spent $1500 more than not been happier (and probably not even as happy) with the result.

Space that this frig has compared to our old frig is noticeable right away. The led lighting which is flush with ceiling is nice. We like the water spout on the door, it’s also flush with the door. I feel like this is the best value LG refrigerator, don’t have to worry about the icemaker on the door since it’s just in the pull out drawer freezer. Didn’t need the insta view either. We like the extra divider when you pull out the freezer drawer as well. Very pleased with everything

The fridge section is very spacious which is perfect for households with multiple children or for when entertaining guests. The freezer is a decent size, but after having this unit for a few months I would have preferred it to be even larger. I really like the streamlined water dispenser and overall streamlined look. I have two issues with this product. Most importantly, this is NOT a smart refrigerator. Best Buy has it listed as such on its website. I wanted to buy a smart fridge. After much frustration trying to get the fridge hooked up to the THINQ app, I spoke to customer service at LG and they told me that this DOES NOT have wifi, only a smart diagnostic feature. Needless to say I am very disappointed in this but it is too late to return this. The only issue with the functioning of this product is the ice maker. It produces a lot of ice and when the bucket get too full the ice will drop down the back of the freezer into the bottom compartment. Overall, I think it's a decent product. My main reason for giving it 3 stars is for the lack of being a smart refrigerator. Otherwise, I would have given it 4-5 stars.

May have to update this once we've had it for a while, but so far we LOVE this fridge. It's super spacious and we're able to fit so much into the doors and other compartments. The ice maker is really fast and efficient, and we love the taste of the filtered water. I could see the freezer space being a bit small if you don't have another freezer option, but we have a freezer in our garage so this is plenty of room for us. So far zero regrets in purchasing this!
