This monitor has been one of the best purchase I’ve made recently. The picture quality is fantastic. The high refresh rate is been a god send. And it been made my games look amazing. Plus when doing work it helps being able to have a pseudo-dual screen.

The LG 29” IPS UltraWide FHD Monitor sounded great on paper, but unfortunately it just didn’t live up to my expectations—especially considering it’s from LG, a brand that usually delivers really solid display quality. I was excited to try an ultrawide for the extra screen real estate, but the 29-inch size ended up feeling awkward. It wasn’t quite tall enough to be comfortable for everyday use, and the extra width didn’t make up for that missing vertical space. Instead of feeling immersive or efficient, the proportions just felt a little off. The color quality was another disappointment. LG is known for vibrant, accurate colors and great IPS panels, so I expected something crisp and lively. Instead, the display looked a bit dull and washed out, even after adjusting the settings. I kept trying to tweak the picture modes to find something that felt right, but nothing really popped the way I hoped it would. For a brand with such a strong reputation in monitors and TVs, it just didn’t meet the usual standard. The 100Hz refresh rate and FreeSync support are nice on paper, but they don’t mean much if the overall image quality isn’t satisfying. I found myself wanting to return to my previous monitor because the viewing experience just wasn’t enjoyable. It’s a shame, because I really wanted to like it. Overall, this model didn’t deliver the color or clarity I expect from LG, and the ultrawide format in this size didn’t feel comfortable or practical. It might work for someone who specifically wants a smaller ultrawide for casual use, but for me, it fell short in both visuals and usability.

The monitor is nice with it’s 100hz display, but some things appeared a little pixelated and were stretched out. Just a heads up as well, it does not come with built in sound. I recommend using the Logitech Z207 speakers.

Great ultrawide for the price. Wouldn't go any larger than 29in for 1080p, though. Extra screen real estate is good for productivity and the 100hz is great for gaming.

In the few weeks I’ve had this, I’ve really loved this monitor. I got an open box one in excellent condition. What drew me to it was the how wide it was, as I like to have multiple pages open at once and not feel confined due to the size of the monitor. The 2 different ports also drew me, as I have a Mac desktop that can easily use DVMI, leaving the HDMI sport open for connecting with my work laptop or smart tv devices. It was important to me that people visiting could set the monitor up to use it more like a tv or for gaming and not feel as if they were missing out on something. So, this is great. There are 2 cons I’ve found with this monitor. For me, the fact that one button does everything (e.g., turn on/off the monitor, change the input & settings) is smart but a bit of a drag. It can be really annoying and cumbersome to use the button. The second con is that I wish it had differing deep sleep modes, as they start at 4 hours. Other than that, it’s amazing!

I love that I can see everything and with my set up I could add another monitor but it’s not needed I can have more than one app open and see what I need with ease.

Using an ultrawide really helps increase my efficiency, and this monitor is a great value entry point to ultrawide monitors. This monitor covers all the basics and has not had any issues in the while I have had it.

I now have 2 of these (wife and myself). The extra wide screen is great when working on multiple documents. As a home office screen this has been excellent. It does not have a height adjustment which is why it get 4 instead 5 stars, It was easy to assemble and setup. It also has a sound out jack for speakers or headphones. It is not targeted at gamers but is also a lot less expensive than most gaming monitors. Overall a very good value when you don't want to have side by side monitors.

Screen size is good its a very good price and it is quite smooth

Works great, HDR functions properly, and the 100Hz is butter smooth. Pixel ratio is terrible on the 32in, so get the 29 if you don't want stuff to look fuzzy.

This is one of the best monitors I’ve bought. I work from home so this has been helpful in putting mulitple applications on my screen so i don’t have to jump from one monitor to the other. I just wish this monitor had built in speakers

I needed a bigger screen because I often am dealing with several programs at once for work. I can have 3-4 programs open and see them all easily.

I have 2 of these monitors from LG and can tell you that I'm very happy with their products. They're on the lower end of the scale, but if you need real estate on your desk, these are great. If you require something really good, look to spend 4 to 5 times more. These are pretty good with color and clarity and I can open up multiple windows all at once.

I have been using this monitor for a couple of years now. I remote in to a computer with a wide screen and this monitor was really necessary. Makes seeing the remote computer so much easier! I love it.

Great ultra wide for the price. Ony issue is i wish there was a height adjustment

Excellent picture and a great monitor to use for work. I work remotely so this was perfect to help review documents.
