So I have to use the direct connection to my TV. It comes with useless directions and the Geek Squad was of no help. They even put the woofer in a location that was useless and I had to move. Sound is OK, but not worth the money.

I saw reviews for this set up online, so I thought the latest version was a decent unit. It was packaged with an LG cx series OLED. Its been about 3 months and I am not really impressed as it doesn't sound as robust as the old one. If you set it for movie I struggle with hearing speaking. Playing with settings to hear speech and the movie sounds diminish. The TV had such an impressive sound by itself that this bar probably wasn't even necessary. I would recommend to upgrade to a higher quality sound bar. Note I have yet to hook a console up which would probably give the best input / signal. When I get time and do so, I will update this if there's a noticeable increase in sound definition and quality.

Expensive piece of junk

I have had major issues with LG products, specifically my $5K door in door refrigerator I’ve had to have repaired three times in the first four years I owned it, and now the subwoofer on the $500 soundbar system. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LG PRODUCT AFAIN!!!
