I'm impressed. But sometimes I wish soundbars would have more than 2-4 inputs. I got around this issue with a 4K HDMI switch (in order to enjoy Atmos and DTX) with my 4K Blu Ray player (and hopefully a PS5 sometime soon) . I haven't hooked up the surround kit yet, but I know I'll enjoy the entire system once I get through tweaking and adjusting

I had to buy a new tv that matched the quality of the sound bar. I just had to get a tv with Dolby atmos to take advantage of those features in the sound bar. I also purchase the rear speakers. Got a discount because I bought it together. Rear speakers was really balanced. The video and surround sound together was great when I watched the matrix.

This is an excellent sound system. I am using it for a while now. It adapts the sound and give the best possible sound. Only cons i can see that it doesn't have much bass by default. Hence, you need to adjust it in the Soundbar app. App also doesn't work in two mobile at the same time. Hope they will fix this issue. Overall a good sound system.

Great purchase so far,the .2 feels like I have rear speakers in the room to the side behind. The quality is great and not overwhelming. Much better than the 5.1 in my opinion,especially for a room abour 10 feet long and 7 feet wide. Didn't want to set up audio receiver and cords so this is good enough. Got this for my c1 77 inch that struggled with basic tv volumes even at volume on 20. Sub is good

Superior Audio quality for a little set up. If you don't want a full surround system, but you want to improve audio quality over TV speakers. Picked this up as an open box and this was a steal. Does self audio calibration thru the app and can notice a difference mainly in the bass after the calibration.

The LG SP8YA soundbar brings an added sound dimension to my LG 55C OLED TV. The added sound is not obtrusive, but when needed, it comes to the fore with a strong bass and unstrained additional volume that fills our rather large living room space. The sound bar offers a great deal of control over the different speakers and a number of ways for distributing the signal. The amount of wiring and installation fuss is at a minimum.

Great soundbar. It definitely adds to a great TV/movie experience. I'm not an audiophile but it sounds great to my ears. Had to experiment with the placement of the subwoofer to get the best base experience. Love that it has Chromecast and that it can be added to speaker groups. Got it on sale at a good price from BB.

Sounds great and easy setup. At first I used optical setup but switch to HDMI for better sound. Only one issue is when I used Bluetooth for my iPod touch the system turned off after 15 minutes ( I guess it goes into power saving) unless I switch songs it stays on. I think there's a fix for this just got to figure it out.

Got this sound bar when it was on sale and im glad i got this one! The upward speakers really fill up the room with sound and it seamlessly connects with my LG tv and switches between the devices plugged into the tv (gaming system, and fire tv). The sub works great too and we dont even have it turned up all the way

Nice soundbar gets really loud, the subwoofer is loud too, if you really want this soundbar to shine you have to get the rear speakers

Great product! Worth every penny! Sounds great and bass is really good. Coming from just using the speakers in my TV this is the biggest upgrade ever! Plus the LG APP makes it so much easier to use!

Bought this SP8YA to replace an older lg soundbar. What a great purchase. The sound is so intense. App works great with I phone. 3 center speakers plus 2 upfiring meridian speakers catch every little sound for a great movie and music experience. And the subwoofer packs a punch. Paired it to my rear speakerLG kit for an immersive movie experience. Worth every penny

First soundbar I've owned and see it's a significant upgrade to speakers on new TV. Attached with 2.1 HDMI cable which I would recommend. TV has to serve two perpendicular viewing areas, so I wanted sound pointed in same direction when screen moved. Seems okay only had a week so far.

Currently I have the sound bar and subwoofer that came together, both sound great after making some adjustments on the LG Soundbar app. This does sound great as just soundbar and sub but I do plan on purchasing the rear speaker kit. I have system hooked up to LG 65inch C1 OLED TV and it was very easy to set up and work.

Excellent sound and compatibility. Synced with my new tv right away, no weird wires and nothing that was brand specific. Able to be synced with ARC technology which means I get to use just one remote for everything. Definitely would recommend to anyone for an upgrade to a new system.

I fell in love with the sound bar after I hooked it up. It’s simply amazing and sounds great. The app is also easy to use and help setup the bar. I just couldn’t fathom spending over $1000 on a sound bar. As far as Dolby Atmos, it sounds great but it’s not a theater. I’d buy it again.

This soundbar bangs! Great controls from the remote or from mobile device with the app. Loads of customization. The AI sound enhancement works a charm. Dolby Atmos experience is pretty unreal. Full and rich sound quality. Definitely worth it. Paired with my LG tv. Turns on and off with the TV.

Pairs perfectly with my lg c1 oled tv. Definitely gives me a nice home theater experience the bass is amazing and the sound is beautiful. Plus it can be used with other speakers and other devices that isn’t the tv with Bluetooth
