Sound is overall pretty great. I mostly watch movies and the dialogue comes through clear and the subwoofer puts out deep rich bass. My favorite thing however is that the soundbar with bracket is the stand for the TV.

This soundbar is better than you might think. I got it for a really good price by combining a sale and a new LG purchase here at Best Buy. In particular, what this excels at is Dolby Atmos content. Therefore, if you pay for the high level of services like NetFlix, Max, or Apple that includes Dolby Atmos, you will be impressed by the soundstage, particularly the height of it, from the up-firing speakers. It can get pretty loud too. I saw a few reviews saying it is quiet. They must not have it setup right. I watched Last of Us with this bar, and it could get very loud in certain scenes. Dialog / center channel is also particularly good too. What is a little disappointing is watching older, regular 5.1 surround sound shows. The bar seems to down mix that to stereo, so it's just "ok," in those situations. Dolby Atmos content - 4.0 to 4.5 All other content - Maybe 3.5 I used it for two months and decided to get a Arc Ultra, which was a big step up. However, what I am still using is the TV bracket / stand that this SC9S came with. My new bar from the other manufacturer sits right on top of this stand / mount perfectly. The stand / mount is very nice with my C4 tv. The other negative (and there are a lot of positives), but the rear speakers you could buy separately have been discontinued for quite some time. It might be better choosing a product that comes with rear speakers or that you know has rear speakers still available.

Nice sound, easy to set up and connect with the LG C5 TV

Purchased open box but the sound quality is great along with the wireless subwoofer. Not hardest bass but enough for a living room movie night. Not too heavy and music sounds great.

I got this to go with my new LG TV. Its good but not great, sometimes it looses the connection between the LG TV and the Soundbar. the only way to correct it is to hard cycle all power on both the TV and Sound bar. Remote is somewhat useless for configuring the soundbar. Prcie was high for what you get.

Great mid-range performance for the price (bought it discounted). I've got it mounted to the bottom of a 77" C5 in a relatively small living room, so it's enough. Dolby Atmos is surprisingly clever at simulating surround sound. My only complaint is the upper range of volume isn't noticeable sometimes. Can't tell much of a difference from 60%+. The easy sync with the LG C5 TV is super convenient though!

Didn't think much about it but glad I bought it, fantastic bass, really clear,goes really loud

So ive been looking for a solution of trying to hide my hdmi 2.1 cables going from my TV to my old soundbar since I wanted to make sure I get the full atmos experience via the eARC hdmi connection. The HDMI cablw that I was using were too thick to run through the current 1 inch electrical conduit behind the walls. Luckily I stumble upon the LG Wowcast WTP3 adapter that you can plug into the LG C1 TV's hdmi eARC connection and connect to this soundbar wirelessly and yet still have full the full atmos experience. Overall great sound bar and wasy setup. Make sure you use the LG Soundbar App on your phone to allow yourself full configuration options. ALSO, I had purchased the Open Box Excelent Condition version and saved myself $400 from buying brand new. When I opened the box, everything was still wrapped up with all manuals and acessories and all brand new. I did noticed there was a very small micro dent on the top of the sound bar. No way a person can notice it unless they use a magnifying glass. Thus save yourseld some money an buy the open box with the geek squad 4 year equipment purchase add on.

Incredible sound with great bass. Works perfectly with the LG C5 77” Oled TV. Love it!

Very happy with this soundbar. The sound is incredible compared to my TV's speakers. The set up was fairly easy for me. The different listening modes provide a good range that you can match to your TV show or DVD player. There is a mode to help with listening to dialog - probably 100x better than the regular TV speakers. There is also an input for Bluetooth, and the sound quality for music from my phone is really good. I had a hearing checkup a couple months ago. When I was asked if I had any trouble hearing, I mentioned that I had trouble with dialog on my TV. After my test, the audiologist told me that my hearing is fine and that perhaps I need to get better TV speakers! Yep!

Lee my sales rep was awesome. Soundbar was easy to set up and dialing it in with the app was simple. My only complaint is that the optional rear speaker kit is no longer available from LG. Do you need it? Not really. It’s more of a want. It is still a relevant soundbar so I removed a star. LG… do better! I would not reccomend this because LG falsely advertises that a rear speaker kit can be added. Best Buy was great though!
