This thing is surprisingly good. It gets loud and the sub helps a lot. Without the sub it didn’t sound that great. It’s important to have at least 3 channels in the front to be able to hear dialogue and this sound bar is perfect. I had to change some of the settings to get it to sound better but nothing too crazy.

I actually had every intent on purchasing an expensive sound bar. After speaking with the helpful salesperson. I decided to go with the LG sound bar. The sound and based are excellent. Also, the base pairs instantly with the TV. I pared this sound system with an LG OLED TV and I could not be happier.

Best Buy Tech's helped us with options we were seeking to enhance our listening pleasure in watching our favorite movies and TV show's. The LG 3.1 channel 420 is a fine addition to our LG OLED. It delivers great quality sound for action show's and picks up lower tones when subjects are speaking.

Sound quality is above average, good clear dialog and center channel. Subwoofer has good output levels, though it is a bit bass heavy by default and its volume is not adjustable on the woofer, rather you have to adjust the bass and treble. Also, even though my woofer is within 20 feet of the soundbar, it does drop the connection occasionally. Minus one star. Bluetooth issues are minus three stars. There is a significant design problem with this and other LG soundbars. There is no verification code needed to connect bluetooth, so it can be hijacked at any time. There is a software setting called "bluetooth lock" but it only works to prevent some pairings. If something has paired before, or any LG TV ever, it can connect. Worse, if BT connects, it overrides the current selection, even if the current selection is a hard-wire connection. THIS SHOULD NEVER occur. Hardwire should ALWAYS take priority over wireless. Dumb. Unless you live on at least an acre, don't buy this soundbar.

Great sound bar that sounds really good sitting in front of it. Some of the sound is muffled from the side. Easy to set up.

I've owned a ton of LG products and this one is another great one. Lots of great features including simulated surround sound (unless you get the satellite speakers which would make true surround). Clear tones, several input options (I use Optical and have had no issues).

Not bad, but not great either. I felt it was lacking a bit in deeper bass response, which the unit it replaced had more of (Samsung HW-J650). The unit was hooked to my LG OLED set via HDMI, just as the previous unit had been. The surround sound modes were pretty standard fare, and the ability to adjust bass , treble, midrange, and subwoofer level were useful. I returned this unit and will search more for a new sound bar when I can actually go and listen to them.

Sound bar works good. Still haven’t figured out the sub woofer. Salesman said easy hookup. Not really. Sound is good though

not much volume but crystal clear. good bass, accurate voice abut lacks in the high end for sound quality. easy set up and connection.

Perfect for what I need it to do. It has big sound for both TV and Bluetooth music from the phone. The sub certainly isn’t booming bass, but it sounds great and clear. Setup took no more than 5 minutes with my LG tv. Very nice , and simple. If it’s on sale and you need an easy sound bar, this is the one.

LG makes great products and we just love our LG OLED TV so thought we would try their soundbar. It’s a great match to our TV and was very easy to setup.

We've had this for over a year now and it still works great. The sound quality is great, not too overbearing. My TV is wall mounted and this mounts perfectly under it.

Really impressed with sub woofer and sound bar is excellent. I'm using the optic cable option and have had no issues - Never had one before and wanted to get since I upgraded my TV. Sound perfect in the living room and loud enough as the neighbors can hear what I'm watching

I thoroughly enjoy the clarity of this soundbar and it's powerful woofer. This 3.1 system has the optional two satellite speakers, if you want to upgrade to a 5.1 system, which is an awesome option. Everything connected with ease and setup was a breeze with the included optical cable. Good job, LG!

Easy to set up with my Samsung Tv. Sound is great!

Perfect for what we wanted. Fits over the fireplace under the TV and provides very good sound. Our TV has the usual crappy sound and this projects the sound well. I think if I were looking for high quality sound I probability would have upgraded, but this fits the bill.

i got it hooked up in my room with my 65 inch lg oled .sounds really good .been had it for a min and no issues with it

I love my new LG sounder that I purchased to go with my ne LG TV. The sound is amazing! If people are talking it's as if they are right present in the room with me. The sound brings such depth to some of the shows I never really experienced before to that degree! I highly recommend it!

I purchased this soundbar/subwoofer to pair it with my lg 4k dvd player and my lg tv for my bedroom enjoyment the sound from this soundbar and subwoofer is just what I was wishing for now I feel as if I am in a movie theater when I am watching a 4k dvd movie or when I am watching cable thank you lg
