I saw some other reviews mention that their sub stopped working after a year. Mine also died after about 1.5 year of use. It cannot be replaced and repair cost is not justified considering how cheap it’s built.

Pairs Well and Sounds Great

I felt it was lacking a bit in deeper bass response, which the unit it replaced had more of (Samsung HW-J650). The unit was hooked to my LG OLED set via HDMI, just as the previous unit had been. The surround sound modes were pretty standard fare, and the ability to adjust bass , treble, midrange, and subwoofer level were useful. I returned this unit and will search more for a new sound bar when I can actually go and listen to them.

Lots of great features including simulated surround sound (unless you get the satellite speakers which would make true surround). Clear tones, several input options (I use Optical and have had no issues).

The sub certainly isn’t booming bass, but it sounds great and clear. Setup took no more than 5 minutes with my LG tv. Very nice , and simple. If it’s on sale and you need an easy sound bar, this is the one.

This 3.1 system has the optional two satellite speakers, if you want to upgrade to a 5.1 system, which is an awesome option. Everything connected with ease and setup was a breeze with the included optical cable. Good job, LG!

I'm using the optic cable option and have had no issues - Never had one before and wanted to get since I upgraded my TV. Sound perfect in the living room and loud enough as the neighbors can hear what I'm watching

The sound is amazing! If people are talking it's as if they are right present in the room with me. The sound brings such depth to some of the shows I never really experienced before to that degree! I highly recommend it!

Fits over the fireplace under the TV and provides very good sound. Our TV has the usual crappy sound and this projects the sound well. I think if I were looking for high quality sound I probability would have upgraded, but this fits the bill.

I was debating between this sound bar and one of the 9.1 fancy ones and I’m glad I picked this one instead. Great suround sound for my bedroom. I play a lot of music on it also and the sound quality is definitely above expectations
