Having issues with the subwoofer !! And the connection to my tv

I purchased this sound at to provide upgraded the sound from my new LG TV. The sound is very good. My main problem with the unit is the speakers fade in & out. I bought a a set of LG satellite speakers for surround sound. The fading in & out is periodic, but very annoying. I’m loyal to LG products. I have two LG smart TVs, & two LG soundbars. Anyone from LG out there??

The LG sound bar provides very good quality sound at an affordable price value. Easy to install system includes a wireless subwoofer.

I was pretty happy with this soundbar, until the subwoofer died right around the 18 month mark. Based on the number of reviews I've seen lately stating this exact same thing, I'd say there seems to be a problem here, LG.

This sound bar is really good. It does the job and it is really loud. I have a 70in LG tv for my living room and this sound bar does the job. I’m really happy with it. It was easy to connect and had no issues. Highly recommend it especially for the sale price.

I really thought I was coaxed into buying something I didn't really nees, but when the Best Buy installers first turned just the TV on, and then hit the power on this speaker, I was sold...no comparison. The richness, tone and bass take movie night to a whole new level...THANK YOU!

This is my 2nd LG soundbar with wireless subwoofer and I will never buy another. I got this one when my LG SN5Y quit working after less than a year, and this one did the same. On both, the subwoofer started disconnecting/reconnecting itself after a couple months. Then the sub would disconnect and have to repaired manually and eventually just stopped pairing all together. I reached out to LG and they were no help. I followed all of their troubleshooting tips and made sure there were no other wireless devices around that could interfere, but nothing helped and I ended up going to Samsung and have not had zero issues. It's sad because we love our LG washer & dryer and TV, but their soundbars are garbage.

I am 'hearing impaired' and even with my aids, trying to hear movies on the TV is difficult. This unit allows you to set it so that the dialog is brought forward somewhat. It has helped. As for price and set up, it was reasonable and easy.

Working Fine; Good Value for the price. The soundbar was programmed to turn on with our TV and this works great. One you get the correct settings for this you don't have to do anything else.

I bought it to improve the dialog sounds from TV but I did not notice a huge improvement with this particular unit. Even I, who has good hearing, had to turn up the volume to 30 in order to hear dialects that are not American. I wanted it to work as my mom is hard of hearing and I needed something with vocal clarity without having to blow out everyone else in the house. It could just be that this is a bad unit.

Sound bar works pretty well with sound as good as can be expected in this price point. The subwoofer is adequate when it works, however it constantly stops working. The subwoofer status light will show that it is connected to the sound bar, but no bass comes out. If I go through the process of resetting the connection between the sound bar and the subwoofer, it will usually work after a few attempts, however as soon as the sound bar is powered off and then back on at a later time, the connection will fail again. Basically I can spend 15 minutes resetting the connection every time I want to use the subwoofer, or I can use just the sound bar which sounds pretty flat without the added bass from the sub. LG customer support and Best Buy support have both been useless in getting this corrected or fixed.

Just what my LG TV needed. The sound bar really helps make with the voices come out clearer with out having the TV too loud. The negative is the mount didnt come with screws, but was still able to mount. All and all the sound bar and subwoofer is a great buy.

It sounds great! When it's working. There's a lot of things in a house that can cause this to have problems. Namely WIFI. It can't be anywhere near this thing. Constant interference. If you can't move it away (which I barely can) don't bother. I've moved it as far as I can and it still cuts out every now and then. I've contacted LG's service and there is NO FIX. All they say is to try and move the router.

Works fine, it has an awkward installation bracket that doesn’t quite work with wall mounts.

Good Value for the Money - Salesperson was helpful. Instructions were a little vague on a couple of issues.

Replaced old school speaker setup and this is a great balance of size and quality. Sub-woofer is awesome

Sounds good ! Nice Bass, Treble, Midrange. If you're looking for a soundbar system for a bedroom ,sitting room, this is it !
