First things first since this is not well-documented anywhere: this GX OLED model-matching soundbar matches the width dimension of the 65 inch GX OLED only. This was perfect for me since I have that TV on the wall as well, and aestehtically it does match the GX beautifully on the wall (see pictures). That is the main selling point of this soundbar, and should be the only reason you're considering purchasing it. If you don't have a LG GX OLED, don't purchase this, there's better soundbars out there! As for the negatives, the sound quality is not the greatest in the world. Specifically, ALL low frequency sounds are offloaded to the subwoofer, which means no natural bass or low frequency sound comes directly from the soundbar speakers. Part of this is just raw physics given how slim the soundbar is in order to sit flush against the wall, which makes it impossible to engineer speakers that produce satisfactory low frequencies. The downside of this, is that if you turn the volume of the subwoofer down to avoid disrupting rumble, you're also turning down low frequency in things like speech/voice as well, since the sound output is so intrinsically linked as a single engineered system. Another negative is how difficult LG makes it to find the correct smartphone app to control this unit (the one you want is LG Music Flow Bluetooth); however, once you do, the app has all the settings you'd need, including independent volume controll of the subwoofer and optional rear LG speakers (which I purchased and paired with these, and they work great). Finally, LG does not do a great job documenting which of the Sound Effects work best for certain situations. Through trial and error, I've found the "Movie" setting provides the most consistent sound quality for my 5.1 setup with the optional rear speakers (I don't particularly like how the AI effect consistently makes the rear channel quieter than it should be with non-Atmos content). Overall, these speakers look fantastic when paired with a GX OLED, but are very mediocre in every other way, which makes it hard to justify the very high price tag for average consumers.

I recently purchased the LG 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! From the moment I set it up, the difference in sound quality was night and day compared to my TV’s built-in speakers. Cons: Honestly, I haven’t found any drawbacks yet! This system exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a high-quality soundbar with rich audio, deep bass, and an immersive experience, this LG soundbar is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

I like the sweet look with my LG G2 TV. I was t fold that I need an optical cable to run the TV speakers and the sound at so it won’t work through ARC. The Bass could be a little better. My prior sound bar had a little more bass.

This sound-bar is amazing. It connects flawlessly to my LG G2. It really sounds like I am in a movie theater. The Bluetooth mode sounds great when I stream from IPhone. The design is sleek and modern.

Bought this in conjunction with my LG G1 65 inch tv and while it does look good as it does have a slim profile and it is exactly the same lenght of my Lg G1 65 inch oled and it does appear to have the same construction materials and look of the tv that is where the positives end and the negatives begin. I bought it because it looks really good asthetically talking but the performance of this speaker and base for a surround sound system leaves alot to be desired. The sound is muffled and terrible compared to a sonos arc or even Bose 500 or 700 soundbar, which were the options i should have gone with but i wanted something pleasing to the eye and something that sounded well i guess i cant have everything in life. The base is wireless which at first i thought it to be a benefit as i can position it anywhere in my living room, that turned out to be a huge let down, as the base because its wireless it tends to loose reception at times and sometimes when i am listening to a good action film this is beyond frustrating as it takes away the whole feel of the sorround sound and it just makes me focus on that ever so slight second that i lost reception to the base and ruins the movie for me, i am an audiphile and i have systems from bose and sonos and even sony to name a few and although by no means was i expecting perfection i was however expecting something usable at the very least something that would enhance my viewing experience in my gorgeous oled tv not something that would ruin the experience all together. Overall i am very disappointed and frustrated with my purchase as the one month return window has closed for me and i am now left with a bad purchase and a bad experience.

Easy to setup, a little annoying to mount on the wall though the premise is good. Amazing room-filling sound. Well worth the price.

This sound Bar is good and it serves the purpose for me. I use it in my Bedroom to watch movies and Dolby Atmos and music, however it is not like my full 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos that I have in my home. But I would recommend to anyone

Only have had it for a day. Sounds great. Reason for lower review is the plug. Had an outlet done behind where TV and sound bar mounted to discover the outlet is like a laptop charger and has a box. Does not fit in recessed outlet box. For a sound bar that is meant to be flush with the LG Gallery TV this was a very stupid design on cord. Very disappointed I have to have that box on mantel. Hiding it behind Christmas decor and once that comes off will have to figure out somethyelse to hid it behind.

I have read the reviews good and bad , my experience with this sound have been nothing but good from playing movies or listening to music I have no complaints.I think that it is very important to move the subwoofer away from sound bar I have mines behind the couch.

Wow I can hear the TV I am elderly and always had to turn up the tv too loud. Now I can hear it and the sound isn’t muffled it’s crisp and clear

Looks and sounds great. It was a great addition to our tv room in our brand new house. Best Bu had the LG TV and LG Sound Bar in stock when others didn’t.

Soundbar works excellent. Not sure why the bad reviews on the soundbar. No need to mess with the volumes.

It was good while it lasted. Went around a year and a half until the subwoofer is totally unresponsive. Cant get it fixed and will have to purchase something else. Not a great experience to say the least. Ill be looking into other brands for a replacement.

Good quality but only if its at clearance prices…z

I purchased this TV back in May 2022. The image quality is unbelievable especially when watching 4K videos. The only bug I noticed is the TV application. Sometimes it tends to be buggy between switching to my Apple TV and TV Apps . It keeps on opening the last channel opened on the LG channels. Not a big deal but it’s annoying. Otherwise, LG did so well with the image quality.

Subwoofer pops and the overall sound seems like your in a tunnel. I’m very upset I didn’t return immediately. But after spending many thousands on the tv and matching sound bar and all the installation required I thought I could find a solution in the settings.

It's okay and works fine and complements a 65in LG TV perfectly. However it's just not that powerful and the subwoofer is almost useless. Definitely not worth the expensive price. My cheaper Soundbar sounds better on my other TV. I even purchased the surround speakers extra which makes the system passable. Matching Aesthetics is the only reason to buy this soundbar.
