This LG sound bar really enhances your TV and Video watching experience. The center channel makes voices very clear and the wireless subwoofer will really bring on the big booms if you set it up that way. I also like that after I paired it with my phone, if I want music the sound bar turns itself on when I choose it from my phone and I can control the volume with my phone too. Also if I want to add wireless rear speakers they’re available.

So as the title says...this works properly sometimes. So I bought it open box for like 40% off. It was "Certified refurbished and in 100% working order." I can only assume they plugged it in the back somewhere and said "Oh! I hear something. Must be like it came straight from the factory brand new!" Lol Nope. Other times the sound drops down or out like the subwoofer thing isn't connected or something. There's even been a couple of times when the power has gone out and it wouldn't come back on. So it was at the end of the 2 week period or whatever and I couldn't return it because of my work schedule. So I got stuck with it. Whenever it is working properly the sound is amazing. So much so that even on low my new neighbor could apparently hear it. How do I know? He called the cops on me. If you get one and it's not defective I'm sure it'd be a 5 star review, but currently can't give it more than 3.

This is easy to set up and does improve the sound and volume. I have only two annoyances with this sound bar. First, one has to "turn it on" each time you shut the TV off if you want it to work again [Translation, another remote]. Second, every time one changes the volume a distractive grey block shows up and flickers.

Been very happy since upgrading to this soundbar, I came from something that was weak with no subwoofer, but had the 5 speaker system in the past. It was this or the polk system I was considering, I bought the lg because of the features and build quality and the bass has great response. Way better with less wires and a wireless subwoofer. Setup was quick and painless.

Bought this for our vacation condo and let me tell you it has been phenomenal addition to our getaway abode. Great surround sound effect for movies and tv shows as well as powerful and capable wireless subwoofer that lets you feel the rumbles when placed beside or behind your couch. It even allows for music streaming from your tablet or phone via bluetooth connectivity.
