We hesitated on purchasing the soundbar. However we are so glad that we ended up buying it. The difference in the sound quality is well worth the price.

I got this and some wireless rear speakers and love it. Set up and pairing was so easy. I love watching movies and listening to music. This is a great buy.

I purchased this soundbar because I purchased an LG tv and the sound out of small speakers has never been to my liking. This soundbar is set up to hear spoken voice and it does that perfectly, even when there is overwhelming background noise. I was very pleased with that aspect of the speakers, and the subwoofer is great too. Keep in mind that sometimes it doesn't seem real that you can hear someones conversation during a gun battle but then would you prefer you didn't hear the words at all? Just saying. I am TOTALLY satisfied with this soundbar and recommend it to anyone who is more interested in hearing the spoken word on tv.

Paired easily with my lg tv! Sound is great and you actually tell the difference between the regular tv sound and when using the sound bar!

The LG soundbar was a breeze to set up. Out of the box it took less than 10 minutes to set up. Sound quality is great and bass makes movies and shows even better to watch.

This is a great sound bar. Bought it to go with our LG tv. Sound is great. No more turning the volume up to 25, you can hear it just fine at 9. I would highly recommend.

This sound bar is great for my wife. Before we had a Visio sound bar 5.1 system. It never seemed to work the way we wanted. Bluetooth would fail and the ARC would fight the TV. With this LG sound bar and a LG TV, it all works great with the simplink on. Turn the TV on, the bar is on, every time. The sound is good and lots of bass. We went with the 3.1 because we never cared much for the rear channels. We like a loud center channel for the dialog. This LG 3.1 works great for that. I just like having a sound bar that work well with the TV.

Bass is slightly lacking but overall it's a great Soundbar. I miss "night" mode from my Sony but the clarity is a huge upgrade. Got on BF for $199 so well worth it.

Quality of this sound bar is great! Sounds and voices are clear. The subwoofer puts out a nice clear bass tone. We have this in our living room and it works great!

Love the sound from this sound bar and subwooofer. Not to happy with the cheap brackets it comes with to mount the sound bar to the wall.

It was between the Samsung or LG. After reading the reviews I decided on LG SoundBar SL6Y. The sleek look, easy installation, great sound. I couldn’t be happier.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I don’t know much about sound bars but we have an LG Tv so I w St with this one. We love it! Great sound!

Bought this to round out the sound from my LG OLED TV. I thought it sounded pretty good for a flat screen but this makes it sound so much better. Can be hooked up using Bluetooth if you are lacking in HDMI ports, but I had some lipsync issues that way. Ended up using HDMI-ARC, which worked better. You can add rear speakers to get a true 5.1 setup [extra $179 however]. I didn't need that for casual listening; already have surround sound system for movies and such. Good product, especially if you can get it on sale.

Still use this today. I have heard a new version and the bass is no where near this one.

Keep the subwoofer and your wireless router far away from each other! I got a 25 foot coax cable and moved my router. Subwoofer is on the other side of the room and now they play nice. This could easily be fixed with a wired sub connection but I never see this on soundbars. Overall I am happy with the performance(could use more bass)but if you have a high power router and a small living room beware of interference. I bought this on a Black Friday sale. Definitely would not buy full price.

This soundbar makes watching sporting events and movies so much better. Works great with our new TV and was easy to set up.

Have done all 3 connection modes to an LG TV: Bluetooth, Optical, and HDMI ARC. HDMI ARC so far most comfortable as it automatically turns on/off and TV volume controls soundbar directly as well. Bluetooth close second with same automatic features. Optical unfortunately does not have the same automatic setup, so I had to manually turn on/off the soundbar. Using HDMI ARC the Bluetooth is free to connect to any mobile bluetooth devices once they are setup to use it, though once connected, of course the soundbar only plays one source.

I'm a firm believer in matching as much equipment in your home theater system as possible. Tech savvy buddy told me the chip sets "shake hands" electronically for easier set up and fewer problems. He was definitely correct. The LG sound bar with the LG OLED tv puts out crystal clear sound and is plenty loud. It's in the man cave, and with the door closed and volume at 21, "the Warden ' hollers from the living room to please turn it down. The bass is deep enough to rattle the windows. If you've got an LG OLED or UHD tv, this one is a definite recommend.

Great sound in a compact unit. Easy to use remote. Good value for a basic sound bar.
