*SUBWOOFER DOES NOT WORK AND IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH NO EASY FIX I HAVE CHECKED* The soundbar itself works, it sounds decent and has pretty loud volume. The wireless sub that comes with worked well for about a week or two, then one day it stopped connecting to the soundbar. This has apparently been an issue for this model and a couple others that are similar, an update or something came out and made it useless and unable to connect in any way; pressing the “pairing” button doesn’t do anything either. I have kept this just because I have wanted a soundbar for so long and this one was on sale I only care about letting my experience known, but kind of sad I essentially spent about $200+ on a smaller soundbar when I could have got a better one with said money. I recommend no one gets this even in a “fully working” unopened box the sub will fail on you; The soundbar gets its own single star thought.

I like the thing but it's hard to get the sound doubling to go away from tv speakers. I think it might have a setting to deal with it but why doesn't it just come with that worked out. I think the tv speakers would have been fine!

After just one month I am impressed. I haven't really put it to the test. I recommend and am glad i purchased this with my lg65" tv.

Great sound quality but after two years, the center speaker which controls vocals started to go out randomly. Some days it works. Sometimes it doesn’t.

Absolutely trash. Updated 1 time/first time in almost 2 years and all it did was put the thing in emergency mode and won’t let me do anything and of course customer service is unavailable and can’t help because they don’t understand the situation way to waste my money. I will be finding a way to communicate with you guys. Time will tell when the BBB gets involved unless LG works with me

This is how my open box "excellent" LG - 3.1 channel soundbar w/subwoofer showed up today (didn't even include the soundbar). Shipped from KY to CA just like this...seriously!

Not impressed, the tv did nor really need the add on soundbar. The lips of people dont coordinate with the sound.

Subwoofer just stopped working sound quality was good thought

I purchased this as an open box buy “excellent”. It arrived damaged and dirty. Also, the remote control and usb cable are missing. I will be returning without a doubt. The product sounds ok but not best.

I bought this for my second tv that sits in a cabinet. The sound is very good for the room it is a 20x15 room. It has good low end and the surround is great. The mounts come with screws to mount to the sound bar but no screws or anchors for the wall. I didnt need mine as I put double sided 3m take and mounted it upside down above my tv in the cabinet. For 199 you really cant go wrong. Fyi this is for an lg oled tv and im using a hdmi cable to the hdmi arc. It came with an opticle cable. It does not come with the hdmi cable. Also the mounting screws are small and hidden in the packaging the mounts are in.

I have been using my LG 3.1.2 soundbar for over a month now and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I had a good 2.1 soundbar already but was tired of always straining to hear whatever was being spoken. It seemed the music and surround was always drowning out the dialog. After some research I found that I needed a unit with a dedicated center dialog speaker. I settled on a 3.1 unit as I had no need for rear speakers offered with a 5.1. After narrowing down the possibilities I settled on a Samsung, a TCL and this LG. I quickly ruled out TCL. It just didn’t cut the sound quality and the build also looked cheap. I brought home the Samsung even though it was $50 more, connecting to my Sony Bravia was much more difficult than it should be and it kept losing the Bluetooth pairing. The sound quality was very good but the balance was not right and no matter what setting I chose, the subwoofer was just too overpowering. I returned the Samsung and got the LG. What a difference. The build quality, the look and display were so much better. Connection to my Bravia was seamless. The Bluetooth paired on the first try and only took a minute or so. Most importantly, I could immediately hear dialog 100 percent better! No matter the program, including football telecasts, the dialog was literally front and center. What an improvement! Also, the subwoofer is just right, punchy and present without being too overpowering. Music via my iPhone was a cinch and sounds better than anything I have in the whole house. And for $50 bucks less than the Samsung it is a steal. Take my word for it, get this LG and you will be completely satisfied like me.
