Customers are delighted by the sound quality, ease of use, and strong bass of this 3.1 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and DTS Virtual:X. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and the soundbar's compatibility with various devices. While some users found the remote control and display could be improved, the positive feedback on sound quality and ease of use outweighs these minor drawbacks. The sleek design and reasonable price point are also frequently praised.

I was looking for a mid-range soundbar under $500 to put in a 150 sq ft multi-purpose room. I was surprised when I saw the sale price for this unit. It has 3.1 sound with wireless subwoofer included, yet was priced about the same as a budget soundbar with only 2.0 or 2.1. The 3.1 center channel is a MUST for me. On stereo-only soundbars (2.0 and 2.1) TV dialogue is not nearly as crisp since it's mixed in with music/effects. This soundbar was a steal. Easy setup, connected to TV with ARC (use HDMI, NOT optical for this configuration), the audio/video sync is spot on, and it quickly paired with multiple Bluetooth devices for music streaming. It PUMPS the music, with nice separation and compact, punchy bass (you can tweak the sound settings in the app). No issues after one month. fantastic sound for the price. Doesn't have all the high-end (expensive) audiophile bells & whistles but I don't expect or need those for this price point and application. The DTS Virtual X setting does a fantastic job at making sound feel 3D without needing up-firing drivers or ceiling speakers, Amazing value, PERFECT for our needs,

I haven't purchased a home theater style setup in almost 20 years. Thanks to the Army and Tinnitus, this necessitated a change. We had an older soundbar that was absolute trash and this was a splurge on my part after having to replace our 6 year old TV due to screen damage. I can finally hear everything again! Amazing sound. I can hear the voices clearly and everything else sounds fantastic too. I love how we now get the lows and the booms but without vibrating everything off of the walls. It's a well made system and very easy to setup thanks to the ARC port. This is also the first LG produce we've purchased that wasn't an appliance so I had no real experience with the quality of sight or sound. Very impressed. In retrospect, I wish I would have spent just a bit more for the upgrade to Atmos, but that can wait for a couple of years.

Had just the features I was looking for as well as good size. Sound produced is very good. Woofer is a nice addition. Installed quickly and easily. Sales price was the deal clincher.

Originally got a different brand sound bar as part of a combo deal with my TV purchase. But having to use different remotes just got annoying. So I picked this one up and it came with a subwoofer! Instantly integrated with my TV and magic remote. Set up was simple. Haven't figured out how to undermount it to the TV but it sits just fine on the TV stand. One of my favorite things is that it you can feel the subwoofer at low to normal levels vs some that would need to be full blast to get the doom doom doom.

Got mine on a sale price, but definitely love it! I was shocked to see the volume level on it lol, I was around volume level 16-18 and was very surprised with clarity/bass. To my surprise the volume maxes out at 100!! Needless to say, I cranked it up in my bedroom and could literally hear it outside, but it wasn't overbearingly loud! If I didn't have my 5.1 system already, I'd definitely get one of these for the theater room in my home!

Purchased this for the main open room in my new house to boost the sound quality of my 55" Sony X900E. This set up does a good job for what I wanted as voices are clear and movies/shows are quite good sounding considering this is only 3.1. The DTS Virtual:X is no substitute for even just actual 5. 1 surround sound but does a decent job of separating sounds. The bass is also better than I expected and fills the room. This system was also easy to set up.

Good news is that it is now working well and it sounds good. I am satisfied enough to keep the soundbar.
However, there were a lot of setup issues.
Couldn't connect to TV via Bluetooth as expected. Disappointing.
Slots on the back of the soundbar (where you attach cables) are too small, and it was hard for me to get my hand in to attach the cables.
The remote control didn't work out of the box. There were no instructions about pairing the remote. I randomly pushed buttons and eventually it started to work. Still don't know what I did to get it to work.
My TV remote (Samsung) couldn't control the volume (power on/off worked) when I used an optical cable to connect the TV to the soundbar. Strange, because my Tivo remote controlled the volume just fine without even reprogramming it for the soundbar. The TV remote volume only worked when I replaced the optical cable with an HDMI cable.
IMO, an HDMI cable should ship with this soundbar.
The scroll status window on the front of the soundbar is too small and shows too little information about once. Made setting up the soundbar harder because information scrolled off too fast.
Only a very minimal manual is included, but better manuals are available online.

Great value! This thing sounds awesome. The wireless sub has nice deep base that is both powerful and subtle at the same time. Would recommend. Especially at this price point. Punches above it's price point for sure.

Purchased (on sale) to replace older LG sound bar that did not play nice with new LG OLED TV. Greatly improved TV sound. While not a full surround sound, it does have a good realistic, spacious feel. Once initially paired, Blue Tooth connect with various apple devices is very fast. The TV's Magic controller is also able to control various sound bar modes so there is little need to use the sound bar remote.
Like most LG documentation these days, the manual is sorely lacking in all but the most basic information, particularly in explaining various sound modes.
Its almost invisible on the shelf above TV, with the wireless subwoofer across room behind sofa. Good strong bass where appropriate. Voice enhancement is a real improvement over earlier unit.
Overall, a good medium priced sound bar to pair with a 48 inch OLED TV in a medium size room.

Fantastic sound and it works very intuitively with your tv operation. There are lots of different sound options, the sub is wireless with its own 110V power giving it better sound and the bass is pretty good for a simple soundbar/sub setup. We put one into our camper and it sounds great.

Decent sound profile for smaller spaces, but struggles with speech-heavy content. Easy to set up and integrates perfectly with modern electronics. Great bass response, and can get LOUD without losing fidelity.

Hugh upgrade over internal lg tv speakers. Fiber optic has best sound but BT is decent with no hum or lag. Bass cabinet fills 20x17ft room at mid output. Got it at 100 bucks off so satisfied at this price, but wouldn’t have paid 349.

I have been using this product for almost 6 months . This soundbar is really good and it has various predefined sound variations such as Bass, Music , Cinema , AI sound etc… You can change it based on your preferences. Connecting to Bluetooth was easy to listen music alone.. I am happy with the purchase and recommend this

Great Soundbar for TV Monitor Setup

Exactly what I needed. After many hours of research, I chose this to be able to be the sound system for my TV/PC setup as I'm using the LG C3 as a monitor. Not only does the sound profiles and remotes sync, but due to having a 3.1 channel, it was more immersive for movies and games since you hear the sound transition from each one. I didn't realize until I had it that a 3 channel was the better choice, and I didn't need additional speakers besides this bar to create the effect. I chose this from the others as it had better clarity and a clean decent bass that doesn't impede on the sound from the bar.

I got this for a great price on sale not too long ago. I love that you can control the volume of the subwoofer, especially because I live in an apartment, and don't want to disturb my neighbors depending on the time of day. I also love that because of the 3 channels, there is a setting which brings the voices to the forefront, which helps for those shows where the characters sound like they're super low compared to the background and music sounds. I haven't had a chance to really test the intensity of the subwoofer, once again because I don't want to disturb neighbors, but at the levels I've had it, it's done the job.
I have an LG TV, so the fact that when I setup the bar, it automatically connected once I selected the proper sound mode, was really great.
