Oven glass shattered within two weeks

I purchased this unit on November 17, 2020. It worked fine for the first two weeks until I was cooking potatoes in the lower oven and heard a pop. I open the oven door and glass went everywhere. I immediately called the LG Service Center, they require a technician to come out to verify it is a manufacturers defect. I sent them pictures and asked if they could send a replacement door and I would install it, but they declined. It has been 11 days since this incident occurred and four calls later to LG I have been told it may be another 8 days until they can find someone to repair my brand new wall oven. I find this level of service completely unacceptable especially considering this is an obviously dangerous event.

The oven crisps up food really well. The microwave keeps a fan on afterwards to "cool off" but its pretty quiet. The one reason I gave it three stars is because the oven generates alot of heat. I can feel it blowing out the heat as I walk by the unit.

Microwave door melted after cleaning by steam. Our unit was installed august 2023 and now 1.5 years later we have to replace it because I steam cleaned the microwave, heard a metal tick noise then smoke. Side of the microwave door melted.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about seeing the side of your LG Wall Oven Microwave (LWC3063ST) model, door melt after steam cleaning. We strive to provide high-quality products and ensure a smooth experience.
Steam cleaning is not recommended for microwave doors, as moisture can damage the seal or parts. The metal tick noise and smoke indicate potential issues with internal components.
Feel free to send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and our team will investigate the issue and explore warranty solutions. Take care! ^Juvy

We purchase this oven from Best Buy in May 2023, It was finally delivered on 30 June after missing two delivery dates. After the kitchen was completed with remodeling, my wife attempted to use the oven this morning, just to make toast, and the DOOR GLASS SHATTERED. I'm so very disappointed with Best Buy right now.

Really like this oven. Nice Stainless finish and and all the features. Dual Combo unit that does Microwave, air fry, roast, bake, convect, steam and more features. Install was simple and standard. 4 screws hold into the cabinet.
Everything fits nicely and we really enjoy the app. Something I didn't think I would ever really use but the notifications on my phone come in handy. The main slide rack in the oven is nice and works great
My only complaint, and not really one. Is i wish there was a quick microwave button! You have to hit microwave then time, then start. hah
I do like the chime alerts on the unit and the light flashing to let you know its at temp and ready to cook.
Still learning about the unit but so far so good. Works flawless and really like it.

Overall flimsy, the doors feel light compared to the Jenn-aire it replaced. The oven gasket is a joke, thin corded material fastened just here and there. WARNING: the control panel is not backlit. All those little commands are light grey printed on black plastic, hard to read. I was shocked when it didn't light up. Only the little center area lights up. The microwave does work well and is good sized.

This is a great oven/microwave combo. They both were very well. That said, LG should have their UI/UX staff review how the controls operate. They are intuitive for the most part, but some parts can be annoying. My and my wife's biggest issue is that everytime you use the microwave, you have to push the button to clear the upper oven. Most microwaves have a sensor, that when you open the door at the end of the cycle, it automatically clears that operation. Unfortunately, if you don't push clear, it will continue to beep at thirty second intervals until you push clear. Otherwise, it is a great oven/microwave combo.

This is a gorgeous combination wall unit. I love its looks and its functionalities (although I haven't tried out everything yet). The oven bakes very evenly. I deducted a point because the controls are a little more complicated than they needed to be. For instance, after the time runs out on a microwave job you have to press the 'clear upper' button to stop the unit from emitting a repeating alarm sound. That's sometimes a little annoying when you're not in the room. Overall a great unit and I would buy it again.

Enamel inside is sooo worth it

This oven is fantastic, worth every penny even though I'm still paying it off. The cook time setting works so oven turns itself off after cooking. Preheat is reasonably fast. The included meat thermometer thingy works perfectly and is easy to use and clean. The enamel inside can actually be cleaned by a normal person without following 20 steps like my other appkiances. For the normal (not mega) cleaning cycle you fill a tray with water and put oven on clean. About 10 min later you open and crap stuck to bottom has been steamed loose. Use side of a plastic credit card or spatula to loosen all the way and wipe w paper towel. The high heat maximum clean is extreme -- the outside of the built in oven got so hot I turned the cycle off. But it did vaporize everything inside, including window, so it looked brand new afterward. I haven't used half the accessories that came with it. And I'd like the microwave to NOT BEEP when I'm setting time to cook cos early am that wakes ppl. Other than that it's perfect.

Ok when it works. Warranty service is a nightmare.

Strong negative experience here, with the product itself and especially with post-sale support and warranty repairs.
As long as it is not broken, the oven bakes and microwaves as it should. This sole positive is outweighed by several major annoyances. Once you microwave anything, the unit plays its silly jingle repeatedly, endlessly, every few seconds until you press “Clear” on the control panel. it also insists on running the fans for a few minutes to cool the oven once you microwave (not even bake) anything. That’s the only microwave oven I know that does that. The control panel sensors are sluggish and uneven in responding to touch. Reliability is not great either; the oven stopped preheating after about a month due to a blown control board. Wi-Fi connection has never worked.
This leads us to the topic that will make me steer clear of anything built by LG in foreseeable future: LG's post-sale support and warranty repair experience have been a certifiable nightmare for the last 3 months. LG uses A&E Factory Service for warranty repairs; this is the absolute worst company I’ve ever seen in my 50+ years. A&E technicians break appointments with impunity, repeatedly and with zero notice (they just don’t show up). They commonly forget to order parts, which means that when the techs actually show up, they leave right away because they can’t perform the repairs. Their customer support and scheduling reps brush you off, promising callbacks that never happen. Google has 700+ reviews on A&E with average rating of 1.4 that provide more insights into the kind of ownership experience you should expect with LG products is anything goes wrong, requiring a repair.
I will personally avoid LG in the future because of their unfortunate choice of warranty providers that becomes a major issue if things break. Your mileage may vary of course.

Nice In wall oven and microwave

Very nice wall oven and microwave combination. I liked the most for it being on the of the cheapest available. Has everything needed and more. A swing down door for the microwave is new to me. Also, the venting after cooking, even with the microwave, is different but we have gotten used to it.
The first was dinged and damaged and was able to get replaced. The second also had a ding in the same spot - think may be a strap or something - gave up at that point as the rest worked. Tough calling around as BB is separated into groups - call delivery, call damage, call refund, call the store, call the manufacturer and each can't see what the other has done.
