Even after owning it for several months, I sometimes have to think about how to adjust the heat setting. There is also an obnoxious musical tone that plays every time you turn a burner on or off.

Looks great but broke almost immediately
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was extremely excited about this cooktop as it was an upgrade and we had plans for Christmas cooking. The install went smoothly and everything was great for the first week. It even looked great. However, using it on Christmas, a lid from a pot had fallen halfway off and landed on the corner of the cooktop, cracking it immediately. I can't imagine this cooktop is the most durable one out there as I have used other cooktops for several years in the past and not one of them ever cracked when a similar event happened. Contacting LG and praying I got a faulty one as it did not take much to crack this (could have been the corner is the weakest part as well but still not the quality you expect of an expensive item).
