Blurry - poor quality.

I would be happy to purchase a higher resolution monitor but I also wonder if the one I have is just faulty. I'm also chatting with LG tech support and they are completely useless. They keep asking me to "Use HDMI Cable" - I am!!!

Tried making adjustments to brightness and contrast, still very difficult to read. I do not recommend this monitor.

Don’t get delivery!

I made the purchase before Black Friday to be shipped and installed in my home. The day of delivery I was told to choose another delivery day, the earliest day, 12 day later than my original date. They sold my tv during Black Friday, thus are now sold out. So much for reserving anything…

We understand that the monitor stand didn't meet your expectations for stability. If the monitor is leaning or unstable, we recommend double-checking the connection between the stand base and the riser, and also where the riser connects to the back of the monitor, to ensure all screws or locking mechanisms are tightened completely according to the assembly instructions.

Quality Ultra Wide Screen Monitor and Smart TV
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The LG - MyView 34" WQHD 100Hz 5ms Smart Monitor with HDR10 is both a great monitor and a smart TV with LG's webOS23 built in. The 21:9 ultra-wide curved display is sharp and bright and for example allows 3 windows to be clearly displayed horizontally across the screen. This allows much greater productivity in that you can be working on one screen, searching for information on another, and have youtube, etc. on the third. For example, I would sometimes be working on my 3D printer program in one window, have my browser open in another, and be playing a youtube instructional video in the third. The 100Hz frequency, 5ms response time, and HDR10 make it suitable for gaming and video viewing. It includes two HDMI ports and three USB ports. A remote is included to control the smart TV and to switch between the smart TV and monitor. If you are looking for a quality ultra wide screen monitor that can also perform as a quality smart TV with the built in webOS23 operating system, I highly recommend the LG - MyView 34" WQHD.

Good Monitor as long as you know before you buy

This is not marketed as a gaming monitor and for good reason. VA panel so colors look washed out as expected. 100hz two HDMI ports but no DP, odd choice. What this monitor does do well is act as a media hub with LG OS and easy access to streaming services like netflix, amazon prime, disney +. The included remote has preset buttons for these very convienent. Shows look decent enough it's no oled tv but decent for 2nd monitor viewing while you game/work on another monitor. It's also convenient if you use this for your main work monitor but want to take a break and switch over to some netflix for a bit at the flick of a button. This monitor does have speakers which actually sound pretty decent in a small office environment, no need to hook anything else up but if you want to you can also pair a bluetooth speaker to the monitor itself and that works fairly easy and well. Little lag but there always is with bluetooth. I think this monitor is a good pick for a media screen only, the colors are far too washed out to consider for a gaming setup. As a 2nd monitor for watching streaming services or youtube it's perfect with the built in speakers. I think it was an odd choice to include no DP ports but not a deal breaker as long as you know your use case in your home before buying. I would recommend this as long as you know what your use case is and this matches what you want it for, don't grab it because it's a little lower cost and a 34" ultrawide. Spend the extra if you are gamer elsewhere. This is just a fun fact but if you have an lg tv in the same room as this monitor the tv remote can control the monitor as well.

Good for casual gamer

Works ok but not for high end gamers, im using it with xbox x, and it works fine for me, its nice to have the wide screen. Was using a 55 tv as monitor but its to big to be sitting close to. Must use phone or computer to set tv up, once initialized it works stand alone. Does not have a tv turner only streaming apps.

Annoying Noise making maonitior

Way too much beeping and noises to let you know the screen is not plugged in to the wall or a computer. Its wildly annoying because I have the volume on mute and the beeping still goes on. Stay far away from the monitor that won't shut up!!
